A Flowering Corpse

Rate this book
There's way no way that I could have known what I was walking into. Now that I do, I don't know that I can ever get away from it.

Life doesn't stop just because my world has been turned upside down. I still have a job to do, and since not doing it means lives are often lost, that's not an option.

Being handed a case belatedly isn't ever fun. Being handed it and having to travel halfway across the country to try and play catch up makes it even worse. An unconventional sort-of angel in the bible belt who swears like a sailor and usually ends up killing. Sure, that's going to go well.

Someone has been kidnapping and killing women for years, leaving their bodies in the most grotesque ways. Only recently have the murders been tied to one killer, and now that the locals think they know what they're dealing with, they've called me to help. Except there are a lot of moving parts to this long story, and catching me up in time might give way to another body or two. Bodies that are personal to those involved.

There's more to the story than just some pissed off fallen on a rampage, like everyone seems to think. The problem is that we don't have long to figure out the story and stop the killer before he takes someone else.
