Willow started writing after having her little girl, Evie, December 2015. All during her pregnancy with Evie she continued to read and she only wanted to read romance. She was reading a book a day — sometimes two.

In January 2016 Willow was staying up late with Evie and just thinking of all these stories. They came to her constantly so she finally sat down and just started writing. She always wanted to do it so she figured, why not? Today Willow cannot be happier for making that decision!

All these reviews screaming about what a good series this is should be checked for clinical insanity. I'm not making a joke. I am concerned for their mental state, that anyone could think this is a good series.

It's Stockholm syndrome and a horrible Dom/sub relationship and so many more levels of fucked up I don't even have all the words.

The heroine (Aria) is kidnapped. She refuses to eat, so the supposed hero (Carter) tells her she won't get to eat unless she eats from his hand?!?!!??? Because that logic makes sense. And the second time he hand feeds her he gives her all this rich fatty food. All I could think was "she's definitely going to throw that up".

Carter spends the entire series trying to break Aria. Literally, it's all he thinks about. They're entering the last fight scene and he thinks something like "this is my will, and I'll hold her captive till she learns to change her will to mine". I don't even feel like going back to find the quote. It was awful.

Aria goes through every step of Stockholm syndrome. I can't hate her as a character because she's completely a victim, but I didn't like her very much. At one point he told her to handcuff herself to the bed; she does and they argue about something. Then when he tries to leave she freaks out and DISLOCATES HER SHOULDER to get him to stay.

The strange side characters don't help enhance the plot or make either of the MCs more likable. Daniel and Addison have a weird relationship that I don't see another series to explain their relationship but honestly I wouldn't want to read it even if it did exist (Update: they do have a novel. I'm not reading it). And we were introduced to Nikolai and Sebastian and Marcus and the brothers and there's so many players it's confusing AF. And they all seem unnecessary.

And as if we all didn't see this coming, he basically entraps her with pregnancy. It's not his goal; first, they have unprotected sex, then a couple days later he gives her a BC shot without her consent and says "better late than never". But if course, there isn't another shot given. So when Aria realizes she's pregnant, she (rightfully) freaks out because (this is the fucked up part) Carter doesn't love her the way he should/she needs (she's desperately madly in love with him) and she can't raise a child in that environment. So she runs away, gets taken back to her father's house, and that leads to the final "battle", so to speak. I guess this is a spoiler but it's so screwed up.

Not only that, but this 4 book series could have so easily been written as 1 book. This is clearly nothing more than a money grab by the author.

Overall it's a clusterfuck and I honestly can't believe I made it through the whole thing. There's probably so much more I've missed but I just can think about this book anymore.

Small update after this was written: I discovered a bonus story for them. It of course starts with a sex scene (no penetration because) then we learn it's 3 weeks since Aria gave birth. And she's freaking out about everything. It's obvious to someone who's had a baby that she has postpartum depression and hasn't talked to a Dr about it. In fairness, Carter arranges for Addison to take care of the baby and then him to do the next shift so she can actually sleep. But again, it is just so screwed up because he also says "it been 3 weeks of the 6, and once she's healed I'm going to fuck her and make her pregnant again" like?????? She's having a difficult time and you think you should have more kids?!

Thank God it's over. I read it so you don't have to. Don't waste any time on this novel.

Sorry but this wasn't romance at all it was possessiveness and he was a complete Psycho , nothing sexy about that , also the whole kneeling to him was stupid , like get over yourself already , he was annoying and boring like the whole book , I'm not going to lie I am in page 225 in Kindle sooo maybe it gets better but I don't think so , also it doesn't give something to look forward to on the book , like in the begining we read about her getting broken down , ok , but then what? After she gets what then ? I don't even have a reason to read more , and something last , the book was like a Wattpad story , which also I didn't like , and reallyyyyyy depressing too
P.S I am aware that this book is a Dark romance book but this is too far in my opinion please don't argue it's OK if you don't agree , I don't really read answers or comments especially in this situations

With a war between three families being eminent, there is bound to be casualties, and this case is no exception. Especially when it comes to the Cross and Talvery family. Carter Cross has set his eyes on Aria and he will not let anything stop him from having her.
How can one love and hate someone like Carter? It is said there is a thin line between love and hate. Someone as tortured as Aria can. Carter who doesn’t know he can love. They both know and understand want but Aria is afraid to love and Carter hasn’t recognized what love is. This is the beginning of war between the Cross and Talvery families. All for the love of Aria Talvery, Carter’s Helen of Troy. With bloodshed threatening to be shed, one has to wonder if their love for each other can survive.
There are few books that can leave you with so many different emotions swirling around you. All He’ll Ever Be is one of those. As Aria learns of the past and Carter’s unwillingness to admit his love for her, it does nothing but tear them apart. As the becomes past is clearer and enemies are closing in, Aria discovers with heart pounding realizations of what cannot be.
Hold on for the ride of your life.

I DNFed this book at 15%.

This is NOT the type of bad boy I want. He is weak. Conceited. Powerless.

⚠️⚠️⚠️POSSIBLE SPOILERS AHEAD⚠️⚠️⚠️:

In TWO pages, this man manages to force her to confess her secrets, DEMAND her to tell him more, IMPLY she’s lying and when she doesn’t respond he LEAVES her after BLAMING HER for her nightmares and then INSULTS her telling her she needs to bathe.

Omg no. No no no. I’m all for dark. I am NOT into a weak man needing to starve and torture the woman into fucking Stockholm syndrome.

5 HEART POUNDING STARS!! PHENOMENAL storytelling!! This book is heart pounding, gut wrenching, dark and believe it or not, loving. Carter and Aria story is hard, dark and beautiful, you will hate Carter and love him. W Winters has another hit on her hands, her writing gets better with each book I read. Willow Winters captivated me with Carter and Aria’s story. All He’ll Ever Be is the complete collection of the Merciless series. All four books have been combined with beautiful artwork within the pages. A beautifully haunting story that will stick with you for years to come.

These collection of stories is dark, sexy and all consuming. You will be consumed by Carter as Willow Winters captures your soul and intertwines it with him and the Cross Brothers. This is an epic and highly recommended read!! 5 plus stars for Carter and Aria’s love story!

Where do I start praising this book? This boxed set is an addiction! It is one of the most intense series I have ever read!

The characters, Aria and Carter, are one of the most awesome and amazing characters I have ever read about so far. It's like experiencing every moment through their eyes! They are so alive, their emotions and feelings as raw as in no other book by Ms. Winters.
I loved and hated the alpha-male-ish behaviour of Carter, cruel and sweet at the same time…
And I loved Aria. She is like a delicate and fragile flower, all sweetness, and yet as sturdy and pliable as a blade of grass…

I felt their tornness and their agony, their depressions, their despair, their hate, their fierceness and passion and above all the hopelessness and sadness of their conflicted situation. And I also felt their love, their sweetness, their tenderness…
I felt it in every cell of my body, in every word I read and it almost brought me to my knees! Every emotion is so vividly described that it feels like seeing a painting by one of the old masters, in which the emotions are captured in strong, yet murky colors.
These books ripped my heart and soul to pieces only to put them together again and shred me once more! They left me breathless…, heartbroken…, choked up with tears…, gutted…, desperate…

And the plot… I only can say, it kept me on my toes from beginning to end. It is pure insanity and murderous with all its ups and downs, twists and turns, unsolved mysteries and thrilling suspense at an all-time height. With every chapter read, events are spiraling down further and there seems to be no way out of this horrible desperation…
It is heartwrenching to read these book, and you have no idea how many times I had to stop reading, just to breath and calm down!

If I've ever read a series that's worth being filmed, that is it!

I wish I was more eloquent to describe my feelings about this series in a better, a more accurately way…
But you could use every word known to describe these fantastic books and would still not come close to do justice to this masterpiece of Willow Winters! It is grandeur and genius on a completely new level.

To you guys who rated this book as 4 starts and above, you need an immediate help. This is by far the worst book I’ve ever read. The main MCs have no chemistry whatsoever and I DNF this book obviously. Too many pages filled with bs. It was way too damaging for my brain to continue read this book. I love dark romance but this was NOT it. I don’t think this book is even close romance. Wish i could rate this as 0 star.

My mental health is more important than finishing this book. I got half-way through book 2 of the 4 in 1 book, and it's just. No.
It romanticizes Stockholm Syndrome. Badly too.
With as far as I got, first Aria is kidnapped, and then held prisoner. And Carter, the second protagonist, is hellbent on breaking her. Eventually he gets her to follow him, gives her a little sliver of the freedom she'd have if she just obeyed him from the start, and then fucks her. Like, there was no consent, it was taken, and consent out of fear isn't consent at all. Period.
Meanwhile, she's living her life out now entirely ruled by fear, doing as he commands, sometimes denying him and being met with punishments. Him drilling it into her head that she needs to fear him, and not fear as in respect, instead as in being fucking afraid of him.
Of course she falls madly fucking in love with him, as a side-effect to trying to survive, and loses the fight within her, and he's just psychopathically obsessed with making sure that she belong to him, and only him and it sounds like it goes so far as to try to manipulate her every-thought toward him, her every waking breath in the longing of him.
She's held prisoner, while he goes on to kill her family, whether or not that's successful, I won't know. Be he doesn't give a fuck about the fact he'll be murdering everyone she loves and cares for and still expect her to be madly in love with him and want him every second of the day.
Of course there's almost sex in every chapter, that's to be expected of a romance novel.

But the fact that this author writes about Stockholm, like it's a fucking joke. Putting a crown of lust over it, to idolize being terrified of a person but having no choice but to be their personal fucktoy and having no freedom or sense of self. Having survived it myself, this is fucking SICK to read and anyone who 3-5 stars this shit and enjoys it needs to be put in a bloody psych ward and analyzed because that's just fucked up. To romanticize fear and terror and doing anything to survive even if it goes against everything you know but knowing no other way out. Being held prisoner against your own will, forced proximity, clothes being picked out for you, obeying every single damned command from someone who thinks he's a god in his own made up-fucked up world.

Sorry about my rant, I'm angry with this book. Because an unfortunate reality, is that I was able to walk away and save myself. A LOT of people do not get out of Stockholm Syndrome alive. And this is a motherfucking disgrace being rubbed in their faces, and for anyone who likes this shit, go see a fucking doctor.

This is a book that should not have been written. It should be burned, and the author should be made to watch. Sorry, not sorry.

This is an amazing way to treat yourself to the complete Merciless series in one absolutely beautiful package. Includes all four books in Carter and Aria's incredible story. Do you dare to enter this intense, powerful, dark, dramatic, and scorching hot world? Carter Cross is a bad man with a plan and an obsession. Aria Talvery is an innocent woman caught in the crossfire between Carter and her Father. A game changing attraction and sizzling chemistry create a inferno of heat and the unexpected seeds of love to take root. Danger, drama, betrayals, twists, shocking revelations, scorching scenes, action and tested loyalties deliver heartache, swoon worthy moments and edge of your seat excitement. This is a series that is simply too sinfully delicious to resist!! This is my sincere, voluntary review.

There’s a difference between forced proximity/enemies to lovers and literal brainwashing and psychological torture. This book reminded me a lot of ‘born to be bound’. Still, one of the most horrifying stories I have ever read. The most troubling thing about books like these-ones that romanticize Stockholm Syndrome-is the positive reviews. People ranted and raved about this series-some girl on TikTok even said it was TOMMY SHELBY FANFICTION???? NO TF IT ISNT LMFAO. About a hundred pages in, I began to realize that the resistance Aria once had would never come back. Like I straight up thought that the point of the book was for her to run away from this weird ass mf.

What made it so difficult to continue reading was that it seemed like the author was actually attempting to depict Stockholm Syndrome ACCURATELY. And still, we are meant to accept this as love. It felt like a social experiment, like it was supposed to be a psychological thriller or something. I’m sadly wrong.

I want to stress the importance of *conscious* consent. This is incredibly fucking different, fear should not motivate consent. You shouldn’t be punished for saying no until you are basically trained like a dog to fear denying consent to your sexual partner. That is rape.

I understand that the books you read don’t necessarily reflect your morals. But seriously, this kind of literature is DANGEROUS. You can say all you want that “this book isn’t meant for young people” but do you really believe that young girls who are reading more adult literature for the first time aren’t going to turn to the books that other women (who should know better than to market this as ANYTHING other than the non consensual violent trash that it is) are recommending on TikTok???

This was an inexcusable romanticized, fetishized, non nuanced portrayal of sexual violence. I cannot believe what I have just read. Scarred for life.

I have read all these books individually in this series, it's great to see them all together in one book. Below are the reviews I originally poster for each individual book.
Merciless
Oh my gosh, I love love loved this book. Another fantastic book by Willow Winters. Merciless was a incredibly well written poignant and emotional book that left me feeling conflicted about my feelings towards the main characters. Carter's story is rather darker than Daniels, however the storyline draw me in and was engaging and intriguing. I struggled to put it down. I love what I've seen of the Cross brother's, and can't wait to read more.
Heartless
Wow, A fantastic second instalment to Carter and Aria's story, and what an ending to keep you on the edge of your seat. I loved Merciless, however Heartless just got better. If this is any indication for the rest of the series, it's shaping up to be a amazingly unforgettable series. Heartless was a incredibly well written engaging, emotionally charged book, with a intriguing storyline and addictive characters. I love the Cross brothers, it was great to see more of Daniel and Jase in this book. Can't wait for the next book.
Breathless
Wow, A fantastic third instalment to Carter and Aria's incredibly emotionally charged story. I loved Merciless and Heartless, but breathless just got better. This series is shaping up to be a amazingly unforgettable series.
breathless is a incredibly well written, engaging, emotional book with a intriguing storyline. Action and tragedy that left me holding my breath reading as fast as I could. Along with addictive characters, plus yet another ending to leave you on the edge of your seat. This all adds up to a brilliant book. I love the Cross brothers, it was great to see more of Daniel, Addison and Jase in this book. Can't wait for the next book.
Endless
What an incredibly explosive, emotionally charged finale to Carter and Aria's incredibly story. There were times that my heart broke for Aria and Carter. I have loved this series, which has just gotten better and better.
Endless is a incredibly well written, engaging, emotional book that stays with you after you finished reading. It has a intriguing explosive storyline, and contains action, heartbreak and tragedy that left me holding my breath reading as fast as I could. The characters of the Cross brothers are addictive, and the book leaves you wanting more. This all adds up to a brilliant book. Can't wait for Jase's story, plus after reading previous books, I'm desperately wanting more information on the enigma that is Markus.

Willow slayed us with the Merciless series. Carter is so intense, so cold-hearted and merciless. I loved him. Aria is broken and he tries to fix her while making her his. As they go on Aria realizes that maybe Carter isn't as heartless as she thought. Dare she fall in love with him? So many twists and turns, nothing comes out like you think it will. Willow is so good at making you so invested in the story, making you want more page after page.

Willow Winters has outdone herself with this book. All He'll Ever Be is the compilation of the Merciless series in one big book. It's a combination of angst, drama, domination, brutality and more that keeps the pages turning.

Carter Cross is the oldest of the Cross siblings and head of their business. Aria Talvery is the daughter of his enemy and now she's his. He is Dominate and in control. He will do anything to break Aria down and make her realize where she belongs. Aria doesn't see herself as weak and broken until she's given to Carter. The longer they are together, the more she becomes his. She becomes Carter's greatest weakness.

This book is a rollercoaster of action, love, hate and war. Action is happening at every turn and emotions run high. A series that is not to be missed!!

I do not understand the love of this story or the love for Carter that seems to be the majority here. I love a good dark romance/morally grey man but there is a big fat line between those and being actually toxic/abusive. Carter kidnaps her, puts her in a literal cell for ~2 weeks, and his sole focus for >50% of the book is to break her - in his own words. There is no redemption for a man whose sole purpose continues to be to break this woman until she has no one and nothing but him, which are his exact words.

I enjoy a good dominating man as much as the next girl but, again, there’s a line between being dominate and actively degrading your “partner” and everything carter does is purely degrading. Every time Aria opens up about how much her situation hurts or how she has a million things on her shoulders she’s trying to work through Carter only hears her tone as out of line and punishes her. How tf are we supposed to find their relationship endearing?!? The sex scenes aren’t even enticing since they almost always start like that, have Carter hurting and/or degrading her, and then leaving her in worse mental condition than before.

I had high hopes for this series but it’s going to be my first returned book cause I just cannot have it on my shelf anymore.

Merciless: "All of her. Every piece of her is mine and she knows it."
~Carter~

You can feel the sadness and despair from Aria, and the conflict from Carter, even as they both try to deny what they feel and want from the other. Carter wants her, but he doesn't know for what exactly. He says he wants to own her, but he doesn't know if it's more than in a sexual way. He doesn't want to admit the depth of his feeling for her. As for Aria, the first time she saw Carter she thought he was going to save her. Didn't take long for that perception to change, but it didn't stop her from wanting him. She doesn't believe it to be right so she fights it, fights him. On one hand at times, she wants nothing more than to escape, then the other she wants to kneel at his feet and do as he asks, as he commands. While they have undeniable chemistry, and Aria can submit to Carter, and he can command her like she craves, it's hard for them to find a balance in between what they want and what has to be done. Carter for his family and his business, Aria for her sanity and safety. Willow Winters knows how to write a dark, angsty book that keeps you flipping the pages to see how the story plays out, and this one is a twister.

Heartless: I thought the first book Merciless killed me.... Nope. This book left me absolutely ruined. This book is so jam packed with emotion, and so wonderfully written, that you can't help but feel it and run the gamut with the characters. You'll feel their pain as they try to come to peace with their very different pasts, and come to terms with their present and soon to be future. This book will absolutely leave you devastated, but screaming for more when you reach the last page. Gods know I was. So can not endorse this book to the extent it deserves.

Breathless: This book is so aptly named. You will be breathless the whole way through wondering what's going to happen next. Breathless is the third book in the Merciless series.
Carter and Aria's story is not an easy path. It's not a rocky one either. It's full of mountains they have to climb to get any semblance of happiness.
Carter will do anything to win this war, no matter who he has to kill. No matter how many Talvery. Thing is, he's losing Aria in the process. The only woman he's ever loved.
Aria, can't stand by and watch her family be killed. Even if it's by the man she loves. How can she forgive that?
These books are getting better and better as they go.

Endless: I'm honestly not even sure the words to put that can give you the immensity of this book. It's the conclusion of Aria and Carter's story. Not that it ends here, just theirs in general. I say, bring on Jase, who seems to be next, but to leave these two is bittersweet in a way. You're happy they have their HEA, but you're also sad to say goodbye.

Their path down this road towards love, was anything but easy. It was filled with lies, betrayal, deceat, blood and bullets. The end of it though..... That's all beauty. Well, as much as you can have in their world. And their world is getting a whole lot bigger in many different ways.

Putting all four books in a bundle is a brilliant way of reading without pause. No wait on Carter. Not even to go to the next. I guarantee you won't regret this buy.

Dnfing this one because I'm sure it's why I'm in a slump. 1. This book is over 700 pages and 2. The male character was putting a collar around her and shit...look I love smut, but when it comes to stuff like that...no😭

I did not finish it. Too much miscommunication that just makes it a repeatedly annoying book.

Dark intentions leave no mercy!

I’ve previously reviewed all four books in this series Merciless and I’ve put them together for your enjoyment😁

Book one - Dark intentions leave no mercy!

Aria is the daughter of a mob boss, who finds herself kidnapped by men who want to take over her father’s territory. Another man who makes her feel hope that she can get away from these men arrives, takes her and places her in a cell in his home. Carter has wanted Aria for years and now he finally has her in his grasp, but in order for her to be his, he has to break her down and he’s merciless in his approach!

Didn’t realise that the book was two parts, so when I stumbled on the end I was relieved to know I would get to know Aria and Carter better:) This book is a dark romance but will leave you with the warm fuzzy feelings that you expect from getting a happy ending.....which I’m holding out for! It also continues on from Daniel’s story, Possessive, so if you haven’t already read that I would recommend doing so, so you can follow the storyline and characters better:) Enjoy, I know I did!

Book two - Wow, what a story!

The saga continues with Carter and Aria and now war is on the horizon, but who will Aria side with? The man she is starting to crave and fall for or her family and blood? Carter is obsessed with Aria since she saved him years ago, unknowingly! But now that he has her, can he keep her?

Lots of secrets and revelations still to come as war breaches onto the Cross porch! Looking forward to the next book in this series:) Do yourselves a favour and read this series, it will leave you on the edge of your seat!

Book three - I’m breathless!

OMG, I just finished this book which is third in a series about Carter and Aria and I am literally breathless as I now eagerly anticipate the final book! This book is intense and I feel like I’ve literally been torn apart emotionally.

So as we know book two finished off quite dramatically with Aria against Carter and his brothers and book three picks up right where it left off! Loyalties are tested and boundaries are pushed to the limit. I don’t want to say too much other than you need to read this series, it is gripping, emotional and soooooo intense!

Book four - Endless brings Carter and Aria’s story to a conclusion❣️

Suffice to say when I saw Endless sitting in my kindle I rushed to it as I just knew this story was going to be epic! This story picks up right where book three finishes with Carter frantically searching for Aria, but she is somewhere he never expected. A war between the Talvery and Cross crews is inevitable! A familiar face inserts himself in the situation to help Carter and our epic conclusion to Carter and Aria’s story presents itself with a massive surprise twist. A hint at a supernatural element in this book as well means I was blown away with the story❣️

Thank you Willow for my advanced copy for which I leave my honest review and hang onto the edge of my seat for whatever you have planned next😍

This was one of those books I bought because I saw an out of context quote on insta, and boy, did this one disappoint.
Im all here for morally grey/black characters, but this MMC psychologically tortures the FMC, constantly talks about the need to "break" her and the only explanation we get is "because you belong to me". The plot is absolutely non-existant, blant and has no depth to it whatsoever. The icing on the cake (on top of the psychological and emotional abuse) was of course the pregnancy, that the MMC used to trap the FMC even further. Absolutely horrible.

Please dont read this.
