Something is coming. No one knows if it is good or evil. Possibly both. A summit has been called, for all of the Ancients of the world. Those willing to bother attending, at least. Tor has been nominated to get a large portion of them to the most primitive land in the world. Right after he and his friends take some of the deepest level spies of their enemy back home. This isn’t the end… It’s the beginning you didn’t see coming.
P.S. Power works in fiction, mainly focusing on Fantasy, Science Fiction and Horror genres, with brief forays into other things just to keep life interesting. He averages 1 to 2 books monthly and has several series going. He lives in an isolated cabin in the middle of nowhere, as a recluse, yet still manages to find time to talk to people online, in a positive and delightful manner. Not one of those creepy hermit types though, you understand. It's more of an isolated farm style thing. Or ranch really. He's also interested in three dimensional photography, and long moonlit walks on the beach, sometimes with vampires. When he can find time he also does writing and voice work for scripted online programs. Anyway, feel free to drop him a line. Or visit his forum: http://pspowerbooks.com/phpBBF/index.php
In chatting with Dale over the past few weeks, it was decided that he was interested in blogging to you, his readers. The blog he had within the main site was not going to be a viable solution and there were thoughts of just creating a Forum where only he could post and everyone else could reply. This MOD is a nice meeting of the two for what will hopefully be a highly successful blog!
Hoping this first (and only) post by me will kick off a nice method of interaction with Dale's readers!

Probably my least favorite book in the series so far. I knew I wouldn't be continuing the series because the next couple of books aren't about Tor. I was hoping for a little bit more. This book mainly discussed Tor's background and why he is so different from Burk Green despite having the same genetic code. There is also something of a breakthrough for him in how he sees himself, how he treats other people and how he lets other people treat him. The things I didn't like
The only debate I have with myself now is if I should skip the next 2 books and read the 9th book (Which seems to be the final book with Tor as the Main character) or just stop now. I will wait a while to make my decision.
Read it. I enjoyed Tor's growth & meeting more ancients. Was sad it wasen't longer... went way to fast! Not saying it's a short book, just that I read too fast ;) Glad another book will follow this one, enjoying the series very much.
I don't tend to give 5 stars to books because I am afraid of been biased, but I couldn't help give it to this one. I love the place MC ended not exactely because of where he was physically but where he standed mentally. We finally see an end to his development since book one, mutch of the resolved issues in here have been hinted since the very beguinning and its wonderfull how the author took us through this hole adventure to adress them. I am really sad of how the situation with his mother ended up but I understand why it must be like that. I hope the rest of the series keeps leading in such an complex and intriguing way.
Really enjoy these books but not sure if I want to carry on as he has gone with other main characters which ruins the books to me as now you must follow someone else after you enjoying the books with Tor even if he was a bit stupid when it came to relationships but that can be his programming he had at one stage.
so loved the first 6 books but with timmon now the main character and then teira in the seventh i feel like skipping even if I know I shouldn't
Keeping the reader guessing, with common core of protection of the planet! Twists and turns and some very constructive thoughts of the future! Good read!
