Theonomy Is Wrong

Rate this book
One day, I logged onto Facebook and found that my stepdaughters had left their husbands and joined a religious cult. There was a video of my granddaughter telling my great granddaughter, “Tell daddy that we are Hebrews now.” This prompted the writing of this book as an article on my blog website. After reading this article, my stepdaughters left the cult and returned to their hometown.
The apostle Paul warned us in Romans 16:17-19 to be careful about deceivers.
“I urge you, brothers and sisters, to watch out for those who cause divisions and put obstacles in your way that are contrary to the teaching you have learned. Keep away from them. For such people are not serving our Lord Christ, but their own appetites. By smooth talk and flattery they deceive the minds of naive people. Everyone has heard about your obedience, so I rejoice because of you; but I want you to be wise about what is good, and innocent about what is evil.”
Cults tend to preach that something additional needs to be done to “preserve” your salvation. I did not write this to promote licentious living. All the work for our salvation and sanctification has been done by Jesus Christ. We do good works to be a good witness, to bring others to Jesus Christ, and to love one another. Our works do nothing for our salvation or sanctification. It is all about Jesus. All you need to do is receive his gift of redemption. The reason that deceivers preach that there is something else you must do is so that you will follow them. The only person you need to be following is Jesus.
Since I found that many deceivers were still trying to cause divisions and recruit followers for others than Jesus, I have decided to make this article available in a book. These cults have a tendency to tear apart families and people’s lives. Only through the blood of Jesus can we have unity.
