***A standalone romance*** A HILARIOUS romantic comedy by New York Times bestseller Addison Moore! 3:AM Kisses Novella
Nolan Knight is the personification of a hot billionaire stud. Broad shoulders, bedroom eyes, a mouth that knows how to navigate its way around a woman—Nolan Knight has all of the hot bases covered. But he broke my heart years ago, and now we’re both back in Evergreen Lake at the scene of the crime.
I’m not looking for anything from Nolan—with the exception of him staying out of my way. But that’s one thing he doesn’t seem capable of.
It just takes one look, one touch, and I know I’m in trouble. The only steadfast rule I have is—do not let Nolan Knight anywhere near my heart.
That should be easy enough. The problem is, Nolan never left that sacred place. Now if I could only figure out a way to evict him…

Blurb: Nolan Knight is the personification of a hot billionaire stud. Broad shoulders, bedroom eyes, a mouth that knows how to navigate its way around the female anatomy—Nolan Knight has all of the sexual bases covered. But he broke my heart years ago, and now we’re both back in Evergreen Lake at the scene of the crime.

So 411; Misty and Nolan are old lovers and are back in the same place for a birthday party. It has been years since they broke up. Nolan has since grown up and realized he was the one who messed up and he is hellbound and determined to get Misty back. I feel like this novella couldv’e easily been a whole book. This is all about being able to mend broken trust and relationships and being able to give second chances. I did enjoy the humor in this book. I felt like there was a little more humor than usual. I liked Nolan as much as I didn’t want to, I could almost feel his love for Misty. Misty is the typical girl/woman who has been hurt and broken. Definitely recommend this one :)
As far as romances go, this one was boring. And repetitive, and long-winded, and did I say boring? There is zero suspense, zero angst, and just the same thoughts being repeated over and over. I have several more by this author in my library, but now I'm not sure I want to waste my time on them. If I try another, it will only be because others that have read them claim this one in the series to be a dud also.
I could not finish this book. I pushed myself almost to the end and finally gave up. Misty continued to irritate me throughout what I read. I figure I know how it ends I don't need to subject myself to reading any more. Which does make me sad, I usually love this author.
I loved Nolan Knight. He f*cked up 4 years ago with Misty Baker and he knows it. He needs to see her again and let her know how sorry he is for the events that lead to them walking away from each other.
Misty Baker is still in love with Nolan Knight and always will be but can't move past the hurt and pain of the past four years. Misty drove me nuts with her attitude. Up one moment down the next, Kissing Nolan then regretting that she did.
What started out as a serious second chance romance just fizzled out for me in the end. Yes, there was an HEA but the struggle was truly REAL getting there. And I thought that all the lightheartedness and humor in this romance was wierd.
Bottom line: I skipped through some of the very long chapters and was ever so happy I didn't pay for this one.
Misty and Nolan are back in Hope Falls to celebrate their friend, Mattie's, 90th birthday. It has been 4 years since Misty and Nolan broke up and went their separate ways. Misty tried to move on but all she had to show for it was a failed marriage. Nolan knows he screwed up and it was totally his fault that Misty left him. He is back and has a plan to get Misty to give him another chance. Misty was all over the place. One minute she hated him, the next she was kissing him and asking for more. The hot and cold got a bit old after a while. Nolan wore his heart on his sleeve and was quick and ready with the apologies. Overall a good read and one that was a good addition to the 3 AM Kisses series.
Another beautifully written story by Addison Moore. She has a way of making the impossible possible. You want to dislike Nolan, yet you become drawn to him just as Misty has been since her first days at the Bed and Breakfast.
Addison makes you believe in romance and that even the most unlikely of guys could turn out to be your "Night" in shining armor.
You are going to love this novella as much as I did. I guarantee it.
Just a little aside: Mattie May is definitely one of the best secondary characters I've read in awhile. She reminds me of a good ol' southern grandma full of spunk and mischief. You are gonna love this ol' gal.
I really enjoyed the earlier books in this series but the last few have gotten worse to the point I e stopped reading the series. In this book, the heroine broke up with the hero 4 years ago because he didn’t tell her that he was a billionaire until after they fell in love. He wanted to make sure he was loved for himself...perfectly reasonable in my mind...but she considered it manipulative and lying. Four years later he arranges an opportunity to spend time with her because he loves her and once again she rejects him when she finds out he tricked her. This is when I stopped reading. Why he wanted such a silly woman was beyond me.
A cute, easy to read short stand-alone story about two people who part for four long years after a blissful beginning whose chance for the brass ring comes back around.
Never mind that this second chance for love between Misty and Nolan is not quite on the up and up that she prefers.
The reality is that the pair find they belong together as, with quite a bit of helpful maneuvering on an older friends part, true love finds a way to it's happy ever after.
Yep, that tickled the funny bone. She loves him but is cranky 90% of the story. That was a bummer. He loves her and doesn't hold back in trying to prove it. Sigh...... He's HOT, witty and every girls dream. Overall quality of writing was good as well as the proofreading. REALLY liked the sparse use of bad language. No cheating or cliffhangers and they get their happy beginning. Enjoy
Nolan and Misty have been in love for the last four years, but apart because of Nolan hiding his true identity. Misty is hurt and decides to get married on the rebound, and it ends in a divorce shortly after. Nolan has not discovered that his ego is little comfort when it comes to not having the woman he loves in his life. Along with Mattie May, their common friend who is about to celebrate her 90th birthday, he hatches a plan to win back Misty's affections. Loved the second chance romance!
What a sweet quick read. Misty was determined but never stood a chance against Nolan's love. He made darn sure she heard his forgiveness and knew she was it for him. They were sweet and funny together. But the kicker here was Mattie May. She was outgoing and funny to boot! She kept the book comical.
Cute story, Misty and Nolan met four years ago but things never really worked out. In the four years Misty got married and divorced while Nolan waited patiently for Misty to come back to him. When that didn’t work out he created a plan with a dear friend to help bring them together. Cute, sweet and definitely a fast read.
arc. i love addison moore books, but it has been too long in between her books for me. which i will be remedying now. and i love novellas. this is no secret. this book was perfect. not too angsty, but a loy of romance. nolan and misty's journey was bumpy, but it was beautiful to witness.
All of the 3 a.m. books are great in their own right. This one was fun and Mattie Mae was quite a character but the story seemed pretty predictable all the way through.
Loved this second chance story set in a small town. The bucket list sounds like so much fun and something I would love to do! So glad the characters got their second chance and ended up together!
There isn’t anything totally wrong with this book. The plot is easy to follow, it seems to be edited, etc.... I kept struggling to read to the end and it never grabbed my attention. It is rare that I don’t finish a book but I decided to set this one aside.
Although the characters were cute, this book was missing most of the story. Their past was important since it was a second chance story and it was MIA. I got the gist of what happened but it felt like someone yada yada yada’d me. Not terrible but not the best either.
This was a new to me author. The writing was good and the story was cute. I did feel the story became a little rushed toward the end. The heroine suddenly became wishy-washy which could have been her emotions and fears at play, but it gave me a bit of whiplash. Overall, an enjoyable quick read.
I might have enjoyed this book more if I was 18 or 20 but at my age it's a bit too juvenile for me. The characters are too over the top and the banter is childish. It also doesn't help that I listened to it with virtual voice narration which absolutely sucks.
This book was amazing I feel in love with Misty and Nolan's story from the start. Addison Moore has a way with words to keep you glued into the story. I highly recommend reading this book.
This book is a great read. Misty is one of my favorite characters. She has such a big heart. This book is well written. The story keeps you wanting more.
