Evelyn write with a very deep sense of the Spiritual, as a Mystic. I’m glad I decided to read her Essential Writings first, to really ponder what she says from her Deep Union with God. I hope to read and ponder more of her works.

There was a chunk in the middle about a house metaphor that didn't strike me personally. The rest of the book was interesting in that Underhill is an Anglican mystic AND woman.
