An academic trip of eleven people to Imus Island turns deadly when one by one, people go missing in heartbeats.
The elements of the rainforest hide the eyes of a predator.
My husband is not the only dangerous presence on this island, and every decision we make is crippling that does more damage than good.
He’s protective, controlling, and very possessive. Everything he does is for me, and he puts my wellbeing before him although the survival of the fittest brands me as prey.
I don’t know if he’s able to protect me this time.

The second time im reading from this author and it wasnt that bad. It was pretty good.
Now from the blurb it says unhealthy relationships, but ill be honest Marco just acts like a alpha protective husband, when his wifey Sylvia goes on a trip with few classmates to study and learn on a island he wasnt going to let her go alone. So he made sure him and his crew of men where with them.
Now i didn't feel manipulation in this one? Atleast to me.. i could be wrong.. unless he ment vefore their marriage? Now he and his crew are trying to keep them alive from someone/thing killing off the students and bodyguards.
The thing i dislike about this is.. always making the woman so weak.. so gullible.. i can understand having tiny weaknesses but give heroines some back bone.
Low angst, no ow/om drama,no cheating slight secondary chara, drama, sexy times, no virgins or manwhores

I can’t give this one a rating. It was a huge disappointment. Boring, dragged, didn’t make sense. Typos killed it for me straight out the gate. I made it to 61% and just couldn’t go on. It felt like a chore to read.
I will try another book by this author since I really loved the first one I read by them. This just didn’t do it for me mostly because I couldn’t get into it due to confusion and unnecessary moments like talking about Christmas trees and Christmas completely out of nowhere?
In the beginning she says how no one knows she’s married but later on, in her inner monologue, she says how she assumed everyone knew. There were a lot of things that contradicted what was being told to the reader.
My review is as jumbled and messy as this story.
Oh and someone said this was fast paced and steamy… nothing even happened until more than 50% through this book and it was very anticlimactic.
Before I dive into this scrumptious suspense filled tale I would like to place a warning. This is a, somewhat, dark “whodunnit” romance. There is controlling, manipulation, and Daddy/little girl vibes with this one. If any of these things are triggers for you, you have been warned.
Celia knows how to pack the suspense and add steam to make your toes curl with this book and I loved every minute. Sylvie gets to go on a trip to an Ismu island with a group of college classmates. They are assigned to collect samples for study and get paid a nice lump sum of money when they return. Marco, her overprotective and dominant husband, comes along with a group of his men as security detail. He is adamant about keeping his wife safe at all times, in all situations. When students start coming up missing, Marco and his men are on high alert - but will he truly be able to keep his princess safe when the danger gets to close?
I loved this book, it was definitely a page turner - I had to know what was picking these kids off one by one and was surprised when the truth came to light (I was thinking it was a different character). Celia had me glued to my kindle with this one and I can’t wait to read another of hers.

Sylvie is going to Ismu Island with a bunch of classmates to do some research. Her alpha dominate husband has managed to get himself and his own security on the trip also. Everything is fine the first day however things go off on the second. People start disappearing and crazy things start happening. Sylvie might have wanted to do this trip on her own originally but now she's glad Marco is with her. When it comes down to it he is the only one she can count on to keep her safe. Will they make it to safety? What's happening to her classmates? What is the threat?
WOW! This is definitely not what I was expecting in a good way. Once I started this book I was so drawn in I blocked everything out. The suspense of what was happening had me guessing about what would happen next. The chemistry between Sylvie and Marco is off the charts hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I've read books by this author before but I have to say this is my favorite by far just because of the element of surprise it had. I would recommend this to any book lover.

This book was full of suspense, action, drama, and tragedy. Sylvie is on an expedition to Imus Island with four other students. She finds that her husband Marco and his security team are also there to protect the students. Marco more to protect his princess, Sylvie. This story has so much to offer. I couldn't put it down and wanted to find out what was happening to the students. I loved how protective Marco was of Sylvie. Some would say obsessive but wouldn't some of us really love that about our own spouse. I would recommend this story. I love how Celia Crown writes. She pulls you into a story and doesn't let go until the end. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Strange things are happening on this trip This was a very different kinda read. Sylvie is on An academic trip of eleven people to Imus Island And her husband Marco is doing security for the students when strange things start to happen. Sylvie and Marco who she whispers Daddy so the other people cant hear have a domineering relationship and it works well for them. I just didnt enjoy this book I couldnt take to the characters and the storyline was a bit out there. But that wont stop me from reading Celia Crown next book as I am a really big fan.

A story filled with suspense, action and drama. This story is about Sylvie and Marco. Sylvie is on school trip basically to Imus Island with four other students. Her alpha husband is unhappy she’s attending and finds her husband Marco and his security team are also there to protect the students. Marco is there to protect his princess, Sylvie. Marco, was,a bit over the top, but I loved his fierce protectiveness. A fast paced story that is compelling although a bit short. . I voluntarily received a free copy of this book.

Sylvie was a student & her husband Marco was in security. So when her school went on a so called field trip of course he brought his security team with him to protect her & the other students. On the trip students started going missing. Turn of events change everything when they find out while the students come up missing. This book was such a different type of story kine. Totally unexpected! Very good.

When Sylvie travels to a remote island with her fellow students, her bodyguard husband comes along. His group is there to protect one of the students, but don't get it wrong, Marco is totally there for his young wife. He is dominant and controlling and protects her at all costs. Suddenly, people start disappearing, but with her Daddy there, nothing will happen to her. This is a dark read.

I wasn't fully sure what to expect but Celia had me curious. Boy, this one is twisted and the "daddy" issues has nothing fully to do with our leads.
I can't give away too much but this one touches on a taboo that might make you cringe. Reader discretion is advised. Personally if you like dark, twisted, taboo than ignore the warning and dive into the dark, deep end. I received an ARC for an honest and voluntarily review.
I have just finished this book and the storyline was very intriguing. I did not see the reason for the disappearances coming and it was quite a surprise. A good and well written story with plenty of description of the terrain and the characters. Told from dual points of view this is a good short and scarily sexy read.

This is book seven in the Villian Daddies series. What starts out as an academic trip to an island, Imus Island with eleven people sure takes a crazy twist. Can Marcus protect his wife, Syliva and will they return from this life threatening trip? This was a quick but entertaining read. It was a different story to show the relationship between these two characters but made for interesting read. Enjoy!

Fast-paced and steamy. Sylvie gets the opportunity to go on a trip to Ismu island with a group of college classmates. They are to collect study samples. Marco is her dominant husband and goes alone with his men as security. Once students start missing, will Marco and his men find them? Can he keep Sylvie safe? Entertaining with lots of action and steamy. I liked it.
Marco and Sylvie are on an excursion to Imus Island with four other students and security guards. This is kind of a dark romance. Marco is trying to do anything and everything to protect his wife from any harm. The ending is totally unexpected, suspense filled book.

Sylvie and her classmates are excited for this opportunity. What none of them expects is the disasters and devastation they encounter. Mind boggling and so captivating you'll be engrossed to the end.

I liked Sylvie & Marco's story. Good characters. This one was a bit darker. It was fun putting all the puzzle pieces in place to figure it out. I received a free copy of the book. And am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
My kink is emotional manipulation done in love. This ended in a way that i didn't expect but liked I really liked that this was a established relationship.
