Must read!
Okay I’m really sad this over. And first of all, let me just say how much I ADORE heather Blair’s writing. It’s so vivid and whimsical yet quirky at the same time. I literally had a huge smile on my face while reading through this book and actually laughed out loud at all the character’s bantering. This book is my exact sense of humor! That being said, there are some really tough topics that are discussed in this novel and I feel there should be a trigger warning on there, but I feel it was handled really well. Lucid Dreaming and Wide Awake are definitely some of my TOP reads of 2019! If you haven’t read this duology yet, you need to now!

Breathtaking
This books completes what began with Lucid Dreaming and is just as good if not better. We gain insight into Quinn, into the confusion that is as much a part of his tragic history as it is his extraordinary intelligence. We also watch as Alison grows to understand that though love appears enough, the addition of truth and trust, can serve to strengthen a relationship.
This is a beautiful love story with some likeable peripheral characters that give the story depth and a dose of reality and ground the central characters. This aspect is necessary as the topic is an extremely emotional one and seeing Quinn’s interactions with others, his struggles and his gentle desire to please Alison connects the reader to the unfolding and sometimes very emotional drama.
Loved both books and highly recommend them both.

This is a fantastic follow up to the first book, Lucid Dreaming. The characters and story are superb! And Quinn. OMG, Quinn! I cried. That is not something I do when I read but I did. Quinn's story is so heartbreaking but also incredibly heartwarming. Highly recommend!

Wide awake is the second book from indie author Heather Blair, and what a talented writer she is. This story was so heartwarming. Seeing Quinn and Allison evolve much more as a couple was such a treat. Their connection is so strong and real.
I got to say I have a huge girl crush on Allie right now. She is such a strong and effervescent young woman. Her personality is just refreshing I loved the way she expressed herself with others, how she didn't have any filters sometimes and just said the first thing that came to mind. I found myself giggling every other page while reading her inner thoughts. Quinn still has issues and obsession regarding his traumatic past, but slowly he lets go of his demons and opens up to Allison. There was a point we're their discussions broke my heart, but that's the beauty of this book, the raw emotions that makes the story feel relatable.
The plotline developed at a good pace, there was never a dull moment. I enjoyed the angst and tension created between all the characters. I do wish we get to see more of Quinn and Allison in the future. A wonderful story which I recommend wholeheartedly!

OMG what can I say it was absolutely fantastic!!!!!!!!! This series has my heart everything about this series is just Amazing!! I adore Heather's writing,she writes romance where u just Swoon! I'm so very thankful that I found Heather on Twitter ,she is 1 of my favorite authors now. I won her 1st book in a giveaway & Fell in love!!! I love Quinn so much! He has the biggest heart even though he went through so many horrible things. He is beyond book boyfriend material he is just Perfect!!!!!!!!!! Alison & Quinn r just 1 of the most passionate couples in romance history. I love that all that Quinn has gone through that he Fights with everything he has & I love that Alison is so I love with him that she looks passed everything that would turn someone else away she Fights for him as well. I'm so greatful to have read this series & Heather was so kind to send me Wide awake for this little review 💜 Please go & get this book series & help support Heather to make her more that just an Independent Author,she deserves to have a Huge publishing company say We What U!!!!💜💜

Wowowowow. I love this series so much! I loved the characters (Quinn felt as if the author took everything I ever wanted in a love interest in personified him). I loved the story, so sad, so raw but so heartwarming. I did not ever want to put this down and constantly thought of the characters even when I was not reading it. It is amazing! I'm so glad I picked up this series, I think everyone should read it. Everything about it is amazing.

Fantastic follow up and sequel to Lucid Dreaming. I loved the continuous character development and depth it adds to the story. Heather has a flowing, engaging writing style that sucks you in and never tires you out. I recommend a completely free evening, a comfy chair and a good snack when you sit down to read this.

Absolutely Love It!
No sophomore slump here! Heather Blair’s second novel, Wide Awake, is absolute perfection! This is the long awaited, much anticipated (just stating facts here people) follow-up to the already amazing Lucid Dreaming and let me tell you something: Wide Awake 👏DID👏NOT👏DISAPPOINT!!! I was hooked from page one and couldn’t put it down. The writing is so beautifully vivid I could visualize Alison’s office like it was my own or practically smell The Dickens bar like I was a regular. The plot line, the character development…all of it is completely enthralling.
One of the many things I love about this book is that Alison and Quinn have a very relatable relationship, and by that I mean the underlying issues of trust and love and acceptance are ones I’ve seen in my own life (and I’m sure most of you can relate too). This helped me connect with the story on a much deeper level: I felt it instead of read it.
Do yourself a favor and read this book!
AND…I don’t want to give away any spoilers here but let me just say, the scene at trivia night was, well, you’ll understand once you read it *fans self whilst taking a cold shower* 🔥

Absolutely everything I needed in this sequel. Quinn is such an interesting, intelligent character and I'm pretty sure he could do anything and I would love him.
Overall... this book is steamy, captivating, adorable, rage-inducing and all over amazing.
