In the shadowed streets of Toronto, there exists a garrison of soldiers like no other—nine immortal warriors, half-Archangel/half-human, living unknown amongst the city, defending humanity from the Daemons of the Hell realm. After millennia of death and violence, Lady Divinity has granted them reward for their servitude, a gift that makes her mighty warriors stronger than ever—Love.
Taharqa has watched each of his warrior brothers pair off with their mates, so when his fated other half crosses his path, he's all-in. Despite obstacles coming at them from Heaven and Hell, there's no way he's going to let Ren get away. She is his. She just needs to realize it.
The Watchers of the Gray Series by JL Madore, joins the gritty, dark paranormal romance traditions of JR Ward, Sherrilyn Kenyon, and IT Lucas.
Devour this page-turner and join the secret world of the Watchers of the Gray!
Sorry to say that if this was the wrap up of the series, it needed more. Also, Hark’s storyline was too abbreviated. I really love the series, I just wish Hark & Ren’s story seemed very cursory and not as deep as other couples. Just like Bo & Layne got glazed over too.
This story about Hark and Jen sets the last member of the “family” to be mated. I thoroughly enjoyed this latest story in the Watcher of the Gray series. I recommend you will enjoy this story but you need to read them in order to follow the lives of all the Watchers. Loved all the books and look forward to the next instalment.
In this book it show that beauty is more than looks and that you will.fight for your family and loved ones . That a family will.stand together in times of need. The only issue I have with this is l.hope they bring out a book for Ringo and for us to know what happens next
I really loved this series Secretly hoping that the other garrison will have a simular series cause boy did I love reading about these dynamics What a family....hot men sassy women...cute kids....lots of loooooving Fights, war, passion, family, honor....lots of sexy time....even ghosts
From book one to the end here the characters, storylines and world that was created gets better and better. A must read without any doubt. You’ll be hooked from the 1st page till you close the last page on book 8. Loved this read

These books are amazing! Read all 8 in a week. They're addictive. I love the cast of characters and the story line is not predictable. Hope there will be more!!!
The eighth is as good as the first. Recommend highly if you like immortal warrior, paranormal epics. This is an excellent series but read in order to enjoy it.
This series is Hells YES good. It was a week long binge read, I couldn't put them down and couldn't get to the next book fast enough. Start with Z and enjoy the ride!
I have really enjoyed this series and this book was no exception. Well written with great characters, this urban fantasy has everything a PNR fan could want.
It was decent enough, not all was concluded to my taste, but it could possibly have a way to spin off to another series with answers to unfulfilled questions. 🤞
JL Madore pulled me into her World writing with the 8 books in her Watchers of the Gray series. The commitment she puts into her writing brings every character in her series to life. You can't help but fall for each of the guys as they find their way in a World of new possibilities for themselves and their Mates. This Dysfunctional Family of 16, with many others included and coming, will keep you on your toes at every page turn. You'll laugh, cry, get angry or frustrated, and become overjoyed as they make their ways together. A great series to read.
