This was book 3 in the "Wild Irish" series. Darragh O'Reagan is always getting into trouble when his father Liam cuts him off and sends him to work in his brother’s hotels. Tired of being broke he gets his friends to rob a bank. Darragh finds himself in over his head as a friend and member of his crew adds a new face this face was someone him and his brother had gone after in revenge for attacking a friend with a large group. They pull two atm heists with this guy in the crew but suddenly the cops are on to them almost immediately with the second job. Mark the new guy is still pissed when he figures out who Darragh is. Darragh and one of his brother's Connor go to meet the friend who brought Mark into the crew for a visit and they find Mark and another guy Darragh considers a friend trying to get the rest of the crew to flip on him to sent him to prison while they get immunity. Rather than going to his father and oldest brother first he waits until after a wedding and a tragedy. This was a good read and a sad one also. Darragh made so many bad discusses. Ciara knows that Darragh is a spoiled little rich boy. These two go back and fourth with insults until something changes in their relationship they become friends. Liam changes where Ciera is working. Putting her to work in the new strip club in the hotel/brothel as a waitress for the opening night when all hell breaks loose. One of the clients after being told Ciera wasn't interested grabbed her butt and then tried again she broke his nose in response the client was kicked out of the club but him and his buddy tried to assault Ciera after she got off work. They both learned that she wasn't going to go easily or quietly when security came out to see what the commotion was they believed that it was Ciera attacking them instead of them attacking her. But the police arrested all three of them and took them to the station. Ciera only made one call, which was to Darragh and he bailes her out and takes her to speak with Liam who sent camera feed showing that Ciera was simply defending herself and was able to get the charges dropped. While at a wedding all help breaks out. This was a good read this book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

So this one was a little better for me. However, I feel like we didn't get any more background on Darragh to understand why he's been acting out. At one point, I'm thinking we will hear him admit that he knows who killed his mom because clearly, he was in the room based on what he says to Ciara. However, nothing comes from that. At this point, I'm also questioning why this is listed as a mafia book. We just see kids who are spoiled, don't trust anyone to include family, get themselves into trouble, and use their name to get out of it. Even in Shane's book, he didn't like killing people. Which is weird for a mafia book.

This book is a page-turner, suspenseful, steamy, and everything else in between. The only problem for me is that I lacked basic information that would've been provided by having read the first two books. After I've read this book, I will start on the other books. Yes, a little backwards; but it will definitely be worth it.

Darragh and Ciara are polar opposites. He's a spoiled rich jerk that has created many of his own problems. Ciara has a rough life and can't stand people like Darragh. In truth, most of us couldn't because he makes it so easy not to like him. However, they're forced to work together and the sparks really fly. What happens when Darragh decides that he wants Ciara. Well, Ciara isn't about to let him win. Or does she? What a book!

Opposites Attract

Fearless is the third book in the Wild Irish series by Vi Carter but there is a prequel and another novella also. This is the story of Ciara and Darragh. These two are very much opposites but as they say "opposites attract". And boy do they attract with Ciara and Darragh, even as they are fighting it. Their story is not an insta-love but instead is grows over time as they must work together. He is the spoiled rich boy who is always getting himself into all sorts of trouble as he just does not know when to make a smart decision. She on the other hand grew up on the streets with a father that overdosed but was saved by Liam, Darragh's older brother, and given a job as a maid at one of his hotels. In order to keep Darragh more under control the family has decided he must work for his money and he is assigned to the same hotel as Ciara. The only hitch is that she has to train him as a maid.
This story has a whole lot going on in it including violence, assault, danger, vengeance, it is witty, romantic and is a journey of two young people.

I received a free ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.

Star rating based upon the continuing storyline

Contains subject matter that may be a trigger or offensive to some including adult language, some intimate scenes and violence.

This story focuses on Ciara and Darragh. It begins as soon as book 2 ends. I don’t want to accidentally provide any spoilers, so I will try to keep my comments general, but the ending is more of a HFN.

Darragh is the wild child and unknown factor among his siblings and family. Most of that is due to his hard partying ways. Then he is cut off and is forced to work at one of Liam’s (his brother) businesses where he meets Ciara.

Just like most of the other stories in this series, the chemistry between the two of them is not off the charts strong like I have read with other authors, but it is decent. The intimate scenes are not very detailed, just a shade over a fade out.

Also, I do not see this as a stand-alone story, as there are too many open storylines that the reader needs to know for it to make sense.

As for a regular romance story I would rate this 3 stars, but considering the overall storyline arc, it is keeping me wondering what will happen next, so I gave it 4 stars.

Secrets have a nasty habit of come out and causing chaos.

This series just gets deeper with each book my head is reeling.

Secrets have a nasty habit of come out and causing chaos.

This had a major twist I did not seen coming, and yes there were tears!!

Darragh is so troubled. After being cut off and forcing to work for a living with Liam, he is not amused. However being Darragh trouble is never far away.

When he meets his new work colleague he gets more than he has bargained for.

Ciara hasn’t had the best start in life, so now she’s finally got a job and is off the streets, she’s no time for the privileged Darragh with his quick mouth and wise cracks.

But then she glimpses a deeper side to him.

This was a crazy read, Darragh is such a loose cannon, but Ciara seems to calm him, but will it be enough.

Vi threw some major curveballs in this one, I have no idea where we are going to be taken next. But can’t wait.

Another terrific Wild Irish mafia romance. The contentious relationship between Ciara and Darragh leads to to a sizzling romance as they fight it out. The rich kid with too much money and access to illegals is forced by his family to clean up and oh boy do they take him down a few notches. Poor Ciara is in charge of his training which leads to some interesting encounters. I love this couple and their slow build relationship. It’s always exciting with the O’Reagan brothers and this story is full of suspense, danger, action and twists. Fantastic writing with spectacular characters in this outstanding mafia romance. Mafia at its best! 4.5 stars

Not the easiest of the series to review but purely because Darragh is portrayed as a it of a spoilt psycho in the earlier books but in this book he becomes a better more likeable character! My problem being we know he killed the aunt in cold blood and the little dog, but now he becomes more like the rest of the brothers with a human soft side when he meets the right person, SO now I’m confused as to my review? Because I have to say I’m liking the Darragh of this book, but if he doesn’t have Ciara is he going to revert back to the psycho again? Mmmmmmmm I suppose we’ll find out in the next books! And Finn! oh my heart breaks for Finn and I’m just hoping he’s ok but no one mentioned him after Connor said he’d check on him!!!

A book has to be damn good to have me reading 2am with work the next day! And believe me it was worth it. As this series progresses, so does the drama, the angst and humour. There is unfortunate tragedy too, but the romance between Darragh and Ciara blossoms slow and gradual. I was curious to see how Darragh the constantly intoxicated, drugged up brother would find love, but he does and it was written so well.

The dysfunctional brothers bicker and fight, but when it comes down to it, they are loyal to one another and love each other fiercely.

Vi Carter raises the bar with this book, the quality of her writing completely drew me in and I'm totally invested in the characters.

He is rich she has lived in the streets. She is offered a job at the hotel and she is off limits. She pushes his buttons and it is funny how she does it. She resists him and it is so good. When she finally gives in it is awesome

This book had me at the edge of my seat. Ciara is hired to work at an O'Reagan hotel and has to work with Darragh. There is drama and power struggle between Ciara and Darragh as they get to know each other. I loved the slow burn the author gives us.

Surprising

Totally unexpected storyline. Though it was good it made me said. Darragh has really grown a lot in this book and I really hope this series ends with a HEA. Right now there seems to be a terrible dark cloud over these 5 brothers. I keep reading in hopes to find out secrets from the first book Vicious. Hope it all comes together in Merciless.

This was a great mafia story with characters who were flawed but strong. I liked the grittiness of the story. The author crafted these characters in such a way that they felt real and relatable. The story played out in a surprising yet entertaining way. I can’t wait to read the next book.

Darragh is a broken rich boy/man. Ciara is also broken but from the streets. The fourth book in the Wild Irish series is dark, dangerous, intriguing and heartbreaking. Not all loose ends are brought together for them and leaves many questions.

Fearless tells the story of a spoiled rich boy who has been in and out of trouble, between drugs, alcohol, and legal issues with his friends his father and older brother have put their foot down that he has to work to earn his keep. But the way they have him working isn't in a way that he expected, as he's now more or less a hotel maid. The young woman who is assigned to train and partner with him, was a street rat that his older brother saved from the streets after her father Overdosed.

Darragh finds himself in over his head as a friend and member of his crew adds a new face, this face was someone him and his brother had gone after in revenge for attacking a friend with a large group. They pull two atm heists with this guy in the crew but suddenly the cops are on them almost immediately with the second job. Mark, the new guy, is still pissed when he figures out who Darragh is and you can just smell who the rat is that called the cops. Darragh and one of his brother's Connor go to meet the friend who brought Mark into the crew for a "Friendly visit" and they find Mark and another guy D considers a friend trying to get the rest of the crew to flip on him to sent him to prison while they get immunity. Rather than going to his father and oldest brother first, he waits until after a wedding and a tragedy.

Ciara, she can tell Darragh is a spoiled little rich boy the moment she sees him. Between the snide comments about how cleaning is a woman's work, how she must be a dyke because she's not falling all over herself trying to get in his pants. But over time, their relationship changes and they become friends. Then one day, Liam changes where Ciera is working. Putting her to work in the new strip club in the hotel/brothel as a waitress for the opening night, and all hell breaks loose. One of the clients after being told Ciera wasn't interested grabbed her butt and then tried again, she broke his nose in response, the client was kicked out of the club but him and his buddy tried to assault Ciera after she got off work. They both learned that she wasn't going to go easily or quietly, when security came out to see what the commotion was they believed that it was Ciera attacking them instead of them attacking her. But the police arrested all three of them and took them to the station. Ciera only made one call, which was to Darragh. D bailed her out, took her to speak with Liam who sent camera feed showing that Ciera was simply defending herself and was able to get the charges dropped.

D and Ciera go to his twin brother's wedding and a day of beauty and happiness turns into chaos and sorrow. Finn's wife is murdered, one of their brother's is shot, and the cops are trying to lay everything at Darragh's feet, including the assault of multiple officers because they were refusing to allow the family to leave with the ambulance that had the shot brother.

By the end of the book Ciera and D have worked through their issues, D has stopped drinking, doing drugs, and had to make one of the hardest decisions of his life. But now, the men who shot up the wedding did something that hasn't happened in a very long time, it has united five brothers and their father who are hunting them down for both revenge and to protect their family and their loved ones.

This story will make you laugh, cry, and bite you lip to keep from moaning out loud. I highly recommend this as a read!

WOW....What a rollercoaster read by VI Carter! Fearless is the fast paced third book in the Wild Irish series which is the story of Darragh O’Reagan, one of the O’Reagan brothers, who is sent to work in one of his brother’s hotel as a punishment for getting caught robbing a bank. While working at Liam O’Reagan’s hotel as a maid, he meets and works along side with Ciara who is directed to train Darragh in his role as a hotel maid. While these two are at odds with each other at first, they eventually realize their attraction to each one another. This couple grows closer to one another when tragedy strikes the O’Reagan family. I recommend reading this phenomenal book which has strong and interesting characters, an intriguing plot, drama, unexpected twists, loss, strong emotions, and steamy romance.

This is Book 3 in the Wild Irish Series by this author. It can be read as a standalone but you enhance your reading pleasure if you read the other books in the series. It is a heartfelt, compelling romance between Darragh and Ciara. It is a journey of self-discovery as these two different but likeable characters try to figure out a relationship between them with love and intimacy. It is a slow burn love story with violence, suspense, danger, love, passion, and steam, plus engaging secondary characters to keep the reader interested. A good addition to the series.
