Englishman Steven Moore grew up by the seaside, thus his first true joy was the great outdoors. His innate love of travel and a degree in anthropology, archaeology, and art history help inform his fiction writing. Steven also loves painting, photography, and both playing and watching sport.

The travel bug bit the now perpetual nomad early, and to date Steven has lived and worked on five continents, and visited almost sixty countries. Steven combines an age-old writing adage; Write what you know, with his own mantra; Write where you know, and sets most of his novels in places in which he has either lived or spent an extended period of time.

When not on the road with his writer wife Leslie, San Miguel de Allende in Mexico is home, which they share with their rescue cats Ernest Hemingway and F Scott Fitzgerald (Ernie and Fitz).

A lifelong love of food, wine, and beer have demanded a new-found love of yoga and hiking in order to fend off the imminent arrival of middle age.

This has been a truly rollercoaster ride, from the beginning till the end! The story is so realistic, I couldn’t differentiate fiction from reality! A well-woven story with twists and turns that will keep you guessing until the end. A nonstop thrill ride, with intriguing characters and layers of mystery that the authors carefully unravel right to the very last page. They spin an intricate web of clues, second-guesses, and action around a cast of memorable characters that kept me hooked from the first page to the final twist. A fun, full of action and adventure read. I’m looking forward to the next instalment!

Hemingway Found: A Ryan Bodean Tropical Thriller - a review by Rosemary Kenny

*slight spoilers*
I've absolutely loved reading new books, (both biographical and 'faction') about Ernest 'Papa' Hemingway, ever since writing my university thesis on his life and writing. Now Steven Moore has produced a real gem of a novel Hemingway Found, about the great man's missing manuscripts, based on events that actually happened many decades ago.
Starting with a clever prologue, the broad details of actual events are laid out as a solid basis for a modern-day adventure, for Ryan 'RB' Bodean and his partner the lovely Megan Simons.
Their sea-plane adventure charter group has entered a hiatus, as 'Gidget' has to go for repairs that seem to be taking longer than expected. While they wait, the lovers decide to go whale-watching in Norway, only circumstances dictate they'll never make it this time around.

Who is the Congregation of Light? Where did RB and Megan encounter their operatives before?
What is the purpose of the mysterious Reginald Bannister's visit?
When did Megan see a startling message - and what did it say?
Why did the old man in Cuba say he had something they'd be interested to see?

As the action moves at breakneck speed, you're sure to become totally engrossed in the many twists and turns that lead to an amazing conclusion you won't see coming.

Grab your copy today and be advised to have plenty of coffee and snacks at hand, because you won't want to put it down until the very end - I read it in one sitting that finished at 3am.
Hemingway found by Steven Moore is sure to be a 5-star winner...guaranteed!

A slow read

This story is poorly written the only way I could finish it was by Skip reading the very large portions of doll very easy to predict action I'm glad I didn't pay much for the particular story why the premise is okay and the two primary characters need a lot more filling in to make them believable a lot more work and building their characters and writing the writing skill is very poor very amateurish not well polished but the story itself and okay this story is poorly written the only way I could finish it was by skip reading the very large versions of doll very easy to protect action I'm glad I didn't pay much for the particular story while the premise is okay and the two primary characters need a lot more fill again to make them believable are a lot more work in building their characters and writing the writing skill is very poor very immature is not well polished but the story itself and okay.

I do not recommend this book. First, it is the second in a series and the authors don't attempt to give you any backstory on the characters. It's as if they expected the readers to all have read book 1 and go straight to book 2. Also, there is no real description of anything - their surroundings, other characters, etc. After the beginning sections of Hemingway being forced into the service of an evil organization, the rest of the book is the two "heroes" going through the motions of one dilemma to another. All of it was ridiculous.

If you have heard of Hemingway’s lost manuscripts you will absolutely love this action/adventure story. Ryan and Megan (two adventurers) get in bolted on a treasure hunt for these very things. Oh the fun you will have following these two will keep you intrigued. The bad guys will keep you wanting more. Awesome cast of characters, non stop action and a very well written story line will keep you reading late into the night !

Number 2 is Fantastic

While I truly enjoyed the first book in this series, I liked this book so much more. The style of writing makes for great mental images and keeps the action flowing. RB and Megan are perfect foils, and several new and interesting characters appear. The plot is a mixture of actual history and fiction. Not a word is wasted in a very great story. I look forward to the next in this series.

This book was a joke

The two people in the story are like a cross between Indiana Jones and James Bond, on a really bad day! I laughed out loud in parts at the ridiculous, and frankly unbelievable way, they escaped from there ludicrous situations, I wouldn’t recommend this silly childish book to my worst enemy.

An enjoyable read.

Fans of Indiana Jones will really enjoy this book. The intrepid hero and heroine get in all sorts of trouble, yet get themselves out of it each time. As the title implies there's an interesting historical link as well. This is a rip roaring romp, and I'd read another from these authors.

I adore Hemingway, so was drawn immediately by the title. Not exactly what I expected, but found the book exciting and A great page turner. If you'd enjoy a storyline with danger, excitement, dashing around on planes, trains, cars....along side great writing. This is the book for you. Highly recommend this book.

Great thriller with non-stop action!

The two main characters were always getting in and out of scrapes with a diabolical killer chasing them while they searched for Hemingway's valise with his lost manuscripts. It's exciting non-stop action with a surprise ending.

Written and read quickly like a younger readers style I enjoyed the quick pace. A fiction story about the true lost manuscripts of Ernest Hemingway. It had a Simple storyline and the characters were not developed so I recommend it as a beach book with a tropical 🏝 story of mixed truth & lies.

This is one realistic story that is based on facts. Ryan and Megan are back to help give us a fast paced ride to suspense. What if Hemingway’s papers told us a different story? A definite story that you won’t be able to stop reading.

This is a fun fictional read about the Hemmingway missing manuscripts from 1929. It is an action-adventure that reads like a cross between the Pink Panther and James Bond with some brilliant moves and some ridiculous luck. If you are a fan of Hemingway this is a terrific whodunit.

This was a pretty good romp. A few oddities in the writing, but entertaining. Nothing too deep, and of course everything turns up roses. A bit too much swearing for my liking though.
A bit frustrating since I haven’t read book 1.

What a twisted rewrite of history, or was it? Two adventurous people, a quite smart young lady and her sometime bumbling partner/boyfriend get into and out of many problems. What a fun adventure, hopefully you will enjoy it as much as I did.

This was an ok story

I had a tough time connecting the historical start of the story to the rest of it, but it finally happened. It was pretty good overall. I will read more from this author.

I like Hemingway and became engrossed in this book. I had to set it aside for some time. (family) and found it was very easy to pick it up again. Fast action. Good characters. Hard to tell what was fiction and what was real.

Hemingway Found

I made it about 40% off the way through the book. I found it to be too convenient and implausible. Life is to short to waste it on drivel like this.

Meh. That's word. Interesting plot but the narration lacked the build up to keep me interested. Not the start I would have liked for the new year.

Great idea, not so well written

The plot and idea behind Hemingway found is greAt, however the writing is simple and has too many cliches for my liking.
