**Side note, telling a woman you just saved from an assault that you won't take no for answer, regardless of the context, is not a good idea.**

Saved is the story of Jesse and Lucy.
She gets attacked, he saves her, he takes her out for a piece of pie and when she thinks about going home she bursts into tears of fear of going home and being alone and unsafe and he gladly offers his penthouse and she complies but not without a couple protests. When he takes her home it quickly turns steamy and yh basically that’s it and including the part where she thinks he left her and that she was a one night stand for him and she’s practically in tears when he comes in with pastries and she’s crying and he’s like wtf. He’s thinking the complete opposite like her confesses he loves her and she completely changed him as a person and he actually smiles from time to time now that he’s met her. He was miserable before he met her. He’s the CEO of a advertisement company and they get married soon after and are preggers in the epilogue.
Solid 4/5.

Right Place Right Time
Jesse is walking home when he finds Lucy being mugged and comes to her rescue. Turns out she is just woman for him and it is a lucky night for both of them in this sweet Insta-love tale.

I really enjoyed these books. Jesse was in the right place to save his soon to be beloved from getting assaulted. He knew she was it for him once all the excitement of saving her was over.

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the story of Lucy and Jesse. Lucy moved to the city to chase her dreams of working in marketing and was freelancing for now. After a late night meeting, she was waiting for a drive outside a restaurant when she was dragged from behind into an alley. Jesse had just left another bad blind date and was heading home when he heard a scream. Jesse ran toward the scream and found Lucy being attacked. Jesse saved her and then asked if she wanted to talk and get a piece of pie with him. Jesse was attracted to Lucy, but didn't think it was the time to ask her out. They got to know one another and when Lucy admitted being scared to go home alone, Jesse told her she could stay i his guest room. Lucy felt safe with Jesse and agreed. This was a short and sweet story. I liked Jesse and i think he really cared for Lucy and wanted to be with her. I think they had an instant connection and knew they were meant to meet and be together. Good one.

The story of Jesse and Lucy is a fast paced, insta-love, older man / younger woman, Alpha romance. And it is a lot of fun to read.
Jesse becomes Lucy's "hero" when he saves her from an attacker with a knife who was trying to drag her into a dark alley. This behemoth of an Alpha man did it in spectacular fashion also and then he tenderly cared for Lucy in the aftermath of the police. As Lucy does not want to be alone, since she has no one else in NYC, Jesse takes her to his place and things get going from there.
Mandy Morgan has written another fun and entertaining short story which will put a smile on your face and a give your heart of bit quicker of a pitter-patter.

This is a total instalove older man younger woman story that I loved from the first page
Lucy has moved from the mid west to the big apple and she is still having a little trouble adjusting One evening while heading home after meeting a client she is dragged into a darkened alley she is just resigning herself to her fate when a older man steps in and saves her. Jesse would help any woman in the same situation but when he gets a look at the woman he has just saved he knows that she is his and will be forever now he has to convince her she is his. This is a fairly fast read but it definitely has all the feels that you could possible want

This novella was decent, but a bit far-fetched. If you believe in Insta-love and I do mean insta, then you'll love this. Lucy is attacked and Jesse saves her. He takes her to a diner for some pie and then to his apartment. The next morning they're in love. 😏
