The jaw-dropping, eye-popping, heart-stopping conclusion to the Royal Conquest Saga is here!

Life will never be the same for Melarue Heiris.

Two Fae princes vie for her affection, and her sister doesn't like it one bit. But this isn't Aerith's story. Sure, Mel might have gotten herself into a pickle, but she's got everything under control … kinda. Not. Next thing she knows, she's being threatened with marriage, gowns, and worst of all—a crown. Ahem, Mel likes pointy things at the end of a hilt in her hand, NOT on her head!

Meanwhile, very pregnant and put out by her ongoing role at Dahlquist castle, Aerith is prepared to do whatever it takes to save her sister and leave Faerie for good. Liri has other ideas. Too bad the Fae-hole abandoned his kingdom. Aerith is in charge now, and if Liri doesn't return soon, she'll crown a new king.

The final battle between the two Elmray families is about to begin. It's a good thing Dahlquist has elves on its side.
Will the cost of winning be too great?

Are you ready to get back on this crazy ride for one final, explosive adventure? Your jaw will hit the floor. Your heart will twist and soar. Your mind will be reeling for days to come. Get ready to experience it all and find out how everything turns out in the emotionally charged ending.

Reality is overrated ... which is why I write!

Vampire hunters, wolf shifters, witches, elves and Fae with humor, romance, snark and steam. I love bad boys with hearts of gold and heroines who kick ass.

I didn't think I would like this book at all as I knew it was going to be more centred around Mel, but this book was fast-paced and amazing. Itleft me laughing more times than I care to admit, and the humour was just dry enough to be perfect.

This conclusion was sweet as berries!! What's not to love about this series!? Ms. Jefford created such a memorable world with characters that are frustrating, drool worthy, snarky and oh so much fun!! Mel was just hilarious this book!! You've gotta love her and all of the "ew" moments she's faced with! Aerith is such a strong leader and it's lovely to see her rule! I loved the twin guards and thought that they added so much to this series for simply existing. This book was filled with gloom and doom!! I loved how Liri seemed to return and take charge and how the creation of the three kings came to be!! Ms. Jefford executes a heavily charged scene with skill and daring! She takes our emotions and runs them through! I laughed and I cried and there was one scene that devastated me!! The epilogue was just everything!! I hate having to say goodbye to these beloved characters! But... I like to imagine that everyone is off doing their own thing in a land far away that's filled with magic and enchantment and they're really only a page away!!! 💕💕💕

Good ending

As much as I liked this series, this book was tough for me to get through. I was irritated by Mel’s personality and immaturity, and since she was a big focus of this book, it was difficult for me to remain connected to the story. There was also a lot of repetitive thoughts from her, even with the same scene. But I got through it, and was happy with the way the book ended!

Let me begin by saying that I have actually enjoyed this series very much and the fae/mortal universe created. Characters were solid, good story building, good atmosphere, good intrigues, overall a flowing engaging read. So I was pretty hyped up about the conclusion to this series! Unfortunately for me this final book mostly from Mel’s POV did not live up to the series. It most certainly was not “jaw dropping” or “eye popping” as described in the summary. Maybe because Mel’s character never felt complete to me, she seemed the moodiest, most hot headed and unbalanced character in the entire series and to place the weight of an entire book on her seems like a tall order and and for me it never reached full potential. Mel’s entire indecision all throughout the series and especially in this installment got a lot repetitive and at the end of the day she did not actually get to accomplish anything of extreme significance to solve the plot, she was merely the storyteller and other stronger characters like Aerith, Jhaeros and Liri were the actual movers and shakers. Also, her three love interests were not equally well developed, the most plausible one was in my opinion Ryo, the others seemed short and just undeveloped fully, mostly Lyklor which seemed like a complete weird choice and their relatioship jumped from a few scenes to deep feelings without a real backbone which just made it cheap and just thrown in.
Overall if you have followed the series and very much enjoyed the fantastic stories of the other main characters you owe it to youself to read this to find out and ultimately enjoy their happy end and be satisfied with the completion of their storyline. But if you take just this book as a single in the series it unfortunately falls very short in comparison to the first two.

What a great end to an amazing series.

Three Kings picks up right where the and of False Queen left off, so if you haven't read the other books in this series stop and go read the other books. Melarue is just as fierce and feisty as ever. Aerith, however, is a little more pregnant and a lot more on edge. Aerith is still acting queen of Dahlquist and fully fed up with her Fae in-laws. Mel is with Ryo and Teryani on the way to Ravensburg to take back her kingdom from the cousins.

And let me tell you, this story hits the ground running and doesn't let up until the very end. There is action, drama, some steamy sexy time, some comedy, and oh a love triangle, or is it a love quadriplegic. I mean Mel is way too much elf for one man, or Fae if you will. I was already digging the little Dev/Mel/Ryo thing happening in the last book, but now Lyklor has joined the fray and it's about to go down!!😲

There are some really great revelations, twists and turns, and a little heartbreak. This book was E.V.E.R.Y.T.H.I.N.G!!! I literally stayed up all night reading because I was so caught up in the story. Nikki Jefford's masterful storytelling and visionary skills transports you to another realm. I didn't want the story to end, but if it has to end at least the ride was amazing. Thank you Nikki for bringing these characters to life and sharing their amazing adventures with us. This series is hands down one of my top 5 must read series of the year. #2109Top5MustReadSeries

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader's copy of this book.
This book jumps off where book 2 left off, so a new reader should start with book 1, or with the original short story in the Monster Ball Anthology (year 1). https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07...

Wow, what a fantastic conclusion to the Royal Conquest series! I loved the whole series. This book held my attention until I finished the last page! Mel (Melarue) is such a strong female character, & she really evolved from when this started in the Monster Ball Anthology as an unruly teenager. I'm glad this book was a little bit more of her story, since she was such a strong character, but still having all the other characters we love in it as well. This was very well balanced -to not lose sight of the other characters. I did not see anything coming in this book, and was totally surprised by it all. There was so much going on in this book- humor, angst, Love, drama, game playing, & sexy times (probably other times I’m forgetting to add too). Aerith has got to be the best strategist ever! Loved the epilogue at the end, showing a little of how all the characters' futures turned out. I highly recommend this series!

This book picks up right after False Queen left off so if you haven't read that do so before you read this one!

This book hits the ground running straight away and draws you in instantly! There is so much action and drama from the very beginning. Aerith is still acting Queen of Dahlquist whilst more pregnant, hormonal and on edge, especially with her in-laws driving her nuts.

Melarue is still as feisty and strong as before and is with Ryo and Teryani on the way to Ravensburg. As if she isn't greedy enough with her love triangle Lyklor is added to the mix <3

I was up till early hours of the morning reading this as I couldn't put it down. There is so much going on, so many twist, turns and emotions. Nikki blew it out of the water with this conclusion to this Royal Conquest Saga. What a wild ride and journey it has been but what an amazing one.

Like pineapple on pizza......and sweet as berries...

What a finale! Honestly, there was so much happening in this fast-paced, absolutely charming and imaginative conclusion to the Royal Conquest Saga, I don't really know where to start to describe it!

If you loved The Stolen Princess and The False Queen, you will also love, love, love this epic finale, where our heroine finds love where she least expects it, and where elves and Fae fall in love - and sometimes out of it. Oh, and if you haven't read the other two books, don't dare pick this one up yet, start at the beginning otherwise you'll regret it! There's so much going on, this series is a firework of fun, laughter, fighting, crowns, portals with the occasional badass elf thrown in as well...oh, and don't forget the tramp team and...yeah.

This is Mel's story- and it will be just as straight and easy as everything Mel does...kinda. Right?

So, go ahead, read it, it's so worth it!

What an adventure

I loved loved , did I say loved? The characters in this book. Their was so much depth in each character. As you learned more about the characters, they revealed more of their personality and it was surprising at times. I really enjoyed the epilogue in this book, it tied everything up nicely. Although, the author provided the viewpoints of the heroines, it would have been nice to have their companions views too, but the story still proceeded smoothly. As each book progressed in the series, it seemed like the author got more into the "groove" and brought the characters to life. I am not saying that the first book was bad, it wasn't, it just seemed that the characters came alive in the the second and third book. This was a fun read. I found the teaser to this book when I picked up the monster ball in KU. It actually had a lot of different stories in it, by author's I had never tried, but am trying now. Enjoy!

Mel steals the show

Oh my sweet berries! Nothing could have fully prepared me for what actually happens in Three Kings. It's difficult to know where to begin. Mel is sent in to help take back Ravensburg; but nothing can go that easily, so that plan is compromised with some moments you just won't believe. Lyklor seems to be good but looks can be deceiving. And the ending is just. But you'll have to read the book to really understand what I mean. It's just wow and oh so satisfying, as I imagine sweetberry tea and wine are. Dahlquist and Pinemist are going to be missed as well as the elf and fae characters. It's been a wild ride and I'm so enthralled by the journey.

Great conclusion to the series

Mel is definitely full of surprises! Life in Dalquist is no exception. There were several twists, some tragedies, and events that had you cheering, raging, and holding your breath. This author never disappoints!

In “Three Kings”, author Nikki Jefford does an amazing job wrapping up the story. So much happens in this conclusion and some of it was expected while others were quite the shock. The Elmray family has a fight on their hands against their cousins. There were some jaw dropping scenes along with some warm and funny scenes. Overall I really enjoyed this book and the whole series. I’m sad to see the story end.

“Sweetberry sunshine!” What a wonderful series!

I absolutely loved the final book of the series. It has all the elements to make it a great read. It was funny and very entertaining. Also had a few surprises along the way. I loved the characters but my favorite would have to be Melarue. I started this series from the Monster Ball Anthology book and I’m glad I did. The author did an amazing job. I loved it!!!

A perfect conclusion to this series! I totally did not see that coming but I am so happy that it did! This book is fast paced and keeps you on your toes. There are tears and laughter, thrills and chills. I loved it! I’m not the biggest Melarue fan, so I wasn’t sure I’d enjoy this book as much but I absolutely did! I’m really sad to see this series end.

This was an amazing read that from the moment that I started reading it had me hooked. It moves along at a pace which is neither too fast nor too slow making for a comfortable read. The characters are interesting and you want to know them better and be there for them. The story will keep you reading till the end and then you are wanting more. This is a must read, no doubt about it.

Kings & lessons.

All her series have the theme of good over evil, strong women $ men fighting for each other & earth kind. Although there are some explicit sexual sins there is also the joy & fulfillment of relationships, honor & respect.

The finale to the trilogy

This was a very entertaining conclusion to the Royal Conquest series. All of the characters return at one point or another in the conflict against the enemies of the crown. The author gave us an amazing storyline that had me saying "just one more chapter please before going to bed." The books never lagged and I was fortunate to come across the completed series allowing me to read.

Okay.... out of all the Monster Ball stories, Aerith and Jhaeros' story was my favorite.... so when I discovered the author had continued their story in a trilogy, I HAD to read it.
-------------
You guys, this series was amazing!
-------------
Nikki did a wonderful job creating the Fae and Elf worlds, and I loved every magical detail! Being sucked into a different world and forgetting reality was easy to do with these books!
Surprises around every corner kept me up reading every night longer than I should have.
I also loved the fun elven words like, he's a "pithead" and oh "pitberries". These words usually came from Melarue's mouth.
At first Aerith's younger sister Melarue was annoying to me, but her character really developed from an immature, annoying, reckless child into a strong and humorous lady! As the series went on, I came to love the red-headed spitfire! I was so not expecting the ending.
*spoiler alert*
I do not particularly like reverse harem novels, and this entire series was NOT built that way. So in the end I ended up being okay with the fictional and fantasy ending of one character marrying whom she did as I couldn't decide on just one either.
It was intense! Thank you Nikki for these books and the worlds they contained.... and for not making Liri, Lyklor, and Ryo, evil in the end. ♡

Gripping!

I have been wanting to read this for some time but work kept getting in the way. Once I had a slight reprieve I had to return to Royal Conquest. I ended up finishing this book at 3am as I couldn't put it down - a testament to how good this book is that I allowed it to get in the way of some very lacking sleep! Full of action from the get go, it starts up right where we left off in False Queen so I found a re-read really useful! It's good. And complex. And I highly recommend it. (Ending: Not wanting to give much away, my only disappointment was it didn't exactly end in the way I necessarily would have wanted, but a good story is one that grips you so much that you can be bothered by a certain outcome. It was all very much in keeping with character profiles so it actually did the story justice... just not my heart as I have favourites. Nikki Jefford sure knows how to weave a tale! I love her work!)

Book Three, Three Kings, picks up right where book 2 ended and from page 1 the action and adventure never stops. I love that we get more of the characters we have come to love and more chances to see them grow/change. I actually liked this book the most because the characters are so developed and the true adventure story line is the focus. Mel is a strong character who is hilarious but has finally come into her own, while Aerith and Jhaeros love continues to grow since the novella The Monster's Ball. We continue the story of how Mel and Aerith will handle navigating the fae and make it to their happily-ever-afters.
If you like variety in your characters and enjoy adventure reads, Three Kings and the entire series is one I recommend to you.

I find it extremely sad this saga is over. I enjoyed immersing myself into all things faerie, elven, kings, queens, princes, fire magic, and sweetberries. Three Kings is a great escape.
Melarue is a fierce, brave, fire wielding swordswoman and an inexperienced, young woman in love. Two princes capture her heart. If she survives life in a castle in dresses, *gasp* then surely she can choose between the two.
Aerith holds down the castle while Liri is away. Soooo - while the fae is away the elf will play. Being a queen is pit berries. Especially when you don't want to be queen.
With lots of laughs, sword fights, and a few tears - who am I kidding, I bawled like a baby in one scene, maybe two, three - Three Kings is a 5 star read. An amazing addition to my Nikki Jefford collection.

I couldn’t put it down!

Three Kings is such a fantastic finale - it’s become one of my favourite series of the last year. As I’ve said in previous reviews these books are such fun to read - a complete break from reality with its wonderful characters and over the top personalities alongside a plot that’s full of twists. One of the most enjoyable elements of this story has been the authors decision to write the story from Aerith, Mel and Hensley’s POV - it’s unusual for a story to be told this way and it’s worked perfectly. Three Kings was such an epic read, I loved it so much! 5 stars 😁❤️

I was not prepared for Three Kings! This book is full of twist and turns, deceit, and that ending ugh! Nikki had done it again and made an amazing trilogy from what started as just a story in an anthology, I absolutely loved every single second of it. It's been a wild ride and a rollercoaster of emotions. I'll miss Aerith but I know she'll always be with me...in my kindle...but also my heart and I will definitely miss Dahlquist and Pinemist. I will always recommend Nikkis books to anyone looking for love, action, adventure. If I could give more than 5stars I definitely would!
