This isn't an "introduction" to anything. It feels like it was written by a student trying to fill a character count. It uses scientific terminology as a gate keeper, instead of explaining what terms meant it provided a glossary at the beginning of the book and expected you to keep up. I somehow read an entire text book and feel like I learned almost nothing. I learned more from the dictionary lookups I had to utilize every other sentence.

Also there are numerous misspellings and grammatical errors, not well edited.
