Okay, I'm really choosing L'Arc in the Presenting Ceremony, but that doesn't have the same ring to it. Either way, this is the start to the rest of my life with my mate. I am madly in love, and we get to go on a honeymoon on a lush tropical paradise in another galaxy! The Cerasteans have been crazy-busy, so it's nice we can get away for a week. Several of my bride volunteers friends are joining us on the trip to Xerini—the dulci home world. I can't wait to hit the beaches with Maya, Serena, Chelsea and our Cerastean mates. I'll be sure we have plenty of alone time too. It's going to be the best trip ever!
Come along for the Presenting Ceremony and first Bride Program Honeymoon. Experience love, surprises, secrets and a few shocking twists & turns on Xerini.
Dane Griggs lives in Florida with her very patient husband, two trouble-making children, a bratty long-hair dachshund, and too many fish tanks. In her spare time—which like most moms, she has very little of—she loves to read (a lot!), write, watch movies, drink wine & pots of coffee, tend her aquaponic garden, go surfing, do woodworking, and volunteer with the PTA and Girl Scouts.
Mrs. Griggs enjoys writing about relationships that evolve and grow over time, with lots of super-hot sex. She strives to put her characters in interesting situations where their strength and wit shine through—no Mary Sues allowed. So grab a bottle of wine and come hang-out in the mind of Dane Griggs and a world of characters you would actually enjoy sharing that bottle with. and if you are into it, be sure to follow Dane Griggs on Amazon.
The Bride Program Honeymoon is a 4‑star, sweet, silly, tropical‑galactic getaway that feels like the series took a deep breath and said, “Okay, everyone deserves a break — even the traumatized alien warriors.” It’s soft, fun, lightly dramatic, and absolutely a palate cleanser in the best way.
Our girl is getting married — sorry, Presenting Ceremony’d — to her dream alien, L’Arc. And she is thriving. She’s in full “I’m in love and I’m annoying about it” mode, and honestly? Good for her. She deserves her alien husband and her intergalactic honeymoon like it’s her birthright.
The setup is adorable: a lush tropical planet, a week away from Cerastean chaos, and a whole friend group tagging along like it’s a destination wedding with extra tentacles. Maya, Serena, Chelsea, their mates — it’s basically a girls’ trip with aliens, beaches, and questionable decisions.
The vibes? Warm. Playful. Low‑stakes. This is not the book where you need to track political intrigue or galaxy‑wide conspiracies. This is the book where you sit back, sip something fruity, and enjoy the Cerasteans trying to relax while the universe refuses to let them.
Of course, because it’s this series, the honeymoon is not just beaches and bonding. There are secrets. Surprises. A couple of twists that pop up like, “Hey bestie, did you miss the drama?” But it never stops being fun. It never stops being cozy. It never stops being that brain‑off, heart‑on kind of story.
And the romance? Soft. Sweet. Spicy in that “we finally have time alone and we’re going to use it” way. L’Arc is devoted. Our heroine is glowing. The whole thing is basically a Cerastean Hallmark movie with better abs.
This book is a perfect palate cleanser — light, joyful, and designed to make you smile rather than stress. It’s the breather between bigger arcs, the dessert course of the series, the “let’s just enjoy being in love on a tropical alien planet” chapter.
A 4‑star, warm, charming, tropical‑sci‑fi romance full of love, friendship, and just enough chaos to keep things interesting.
. . . letting go of what you can’t control leaves you with the ability to truly focus on what you can fix without becoming bogged down in negativity." Thank you again for Kindle Unlimited.
This story was about sex with a few menial actions in between. It was emotionless and the main characters were 2D. The secondary characters who have appeared in other books did not really add much to the story.
A group of human bride friends and their Cerasteian husbands take off on a honeymoon to the home planet of the little blue chameleon animals, where one couple runs into a princess of the Ostium, and they find out that not all the Ostium want to kill them off or even know about it.
Laney and her new mate, large, are out catching the little blue chameleons for their research when n Laney falls into a swiftly moving river, and L'Arc dives in to save her. They finely are able to get out of the river miles downriver, but L'Arc has been injured. After a day of L'Arc getting sicker from his injuries, Laney meets a new alien, who heals L'Arc, and they find out she is an Ostium, the race responsible for killing all the Cerasteans on their home planet. Plans are made for getting more info, and another meeting . The honeymooners return to Earth orbit and more plans are made to use the info the princess gave them.
Skipped Book 3, but Book 4 continues the narrative well!
It was really interesting to get to see a mated couple up close. It gave some idea what the 'happily ever after' might be like, and getting a glimpse into how the new mates are getting on with their human in-laws, was halarious.
A new alliance, a hint of a thickening plot and the pitter patter of tiny feet, readable and amusing.
My last note would be I appreciate Dianne giving us an option to skip Book 3. Trio's or in fact menage of any kind is usually when I stop reading a seris. It's just not my thing. So being able to contiue the general story arc, meant I came back for more.
I loved reading about more of the Brides, and how things are going with their Alien mates. Going through the mating Ceremony, that was changed a bit to honor the new human brides was sweet. The honeymoon on another planet was amazing for the ladies, and a accident, that was almost deadly, ends up offering a life changing opportunity between the warring planets. New hope for the peaceful resolution between them, and a new life is starting with a newly mated couple. Trish. A.
I am enjoying this series about the collaboration between humans and one species of aliens. I love the pop culture references to movies and slang. The two groups are working together as the aliens' women were killed by a virus unleashed by the evil queen of another species of alien. Human women have volunteered to be brides of the aliens in return for aide combatting cancer.
Overall, the story was good, but it did drags at points. There were a number of scenes that really didn't need to be in the book, and I found myself skimming these sections to get to something interesting. Of all the books in the Saving Ceraste series, I enjoyed this one the least. Still, I can't wait to read the next book in the series!
Although this book has a lot of sex (the title is Honeymoon), the story is interesting, and the new character is fascinating. The world building remains excellent, and the book is well-written.
I'm interested in these characters, but I was really pulled in by the first books humor. I will probably finish the series. It is well written, good characters & interesting. I miss the hilarity.
Wow, Laney's adventure L'Ark was very interesting. Their story was very sweet, but the overall story with the threat of war keeps you reading also. Definitely recommend the series so far.
That can't be the last book! I am addicted and must know what happens next! If I send you Starbucks and M&M's will that help speed things up?I Get back to work Dane! Gimmie more!
I started with the first book and was caught by the story and wanted more. I have read the books one after another. I was looking forward to Number 5. I hope it comes out soon. If you like romance and you like sexy aliens these are the books for you. I loved that there was no abductions, that.the women are there because they want to be. There is romance, adventure and love that lasts forever.
As an avid reader who doesn't normally ready alien romance books I have really liked this series. Dane writes chemistry so well and the heroes of her stories are so great to their mates and their "otherness" is so cool to read in comparison to the human heroines. These guys love their mates and it shows!! Can't wait to read more into this world!
The story was good an the characters were very engaging but I felt that the storyline could've been developed a little bit better. The characters of Princess Ameela was good but not developed enough. This was a missed opportunity. I felt that with a little more work it could've been a great story.
I loved this book. It's witty and touching in all the right "feels". As an avid reader this book hits all my criteria for a great read. Maya is so relatable. D'Avii is just a giant marshmallow in a very large casing. I will be buying the rest of the books in the series
I loved reading about the volunteer brides and their mates loved after being mated. Good plot that keeps readers interested in what will happen next! The weddings and honeymoon for the mated couples was fun to read. Great to see how their relationships evolve as they learn more about each other.
I have read all 4 in this collection and enjoyed each one. This was a new author for me, that has created a Well paced story with enjoyable characters. They all have an on going story that develops with each book. Each book covers a different couple.
The Bride Program series is a fun read. The characters are engaging and the idea of human brides for alien men, while not new, has been handled deftly in a unique way. I highly recommend.
Obligatory I am not Matt but his wife. I love these books and could not stop reading! I am hopeful there will be more books coming in this awesome series soon. Also thank you for the colorful phrases, several will no doubt be adopted I to my own vocabulary.
