I need to find an omega, but I’ll accept none but my fated mate … I’m ready to lead the Everglow pack, but unless I claim a mate I can’t take my place as Supreme Alpha. Other wolves may settle for less, but I only want my true mate. I just haven’t met him yet. But time is running out, and if I don’t choose someone, the current alpha will choose for me.
When I set eyes on Julian, I know he’s mine. I don’t know why he hasn’t been claimed, but his pack’s loss is my gain. The omega belongs at my side, and with him I’m ready to lead.
Danger from the outside world looms. Not everyone accepts shifters, and if we don’t fight, we’ll be wiped out. I need to keep my mate safe, but if I’m not careful, war will tear us apart before we can keep the promise of our bond.
Their romance made me sappy happy. The storyline was entertaining. All that drama with the virus and HOW it started..oh my..juicy! I'm hooked. Off to Seff's book. I just know that guy is gonna be a runner.
I'm pretty pissed nothing was done about Julian's AWFUL parents tho.... hopefully, we see them eat shit, get arrested, or die in the next book... something needs to happen 🤞
Love it, I love the fact that they didn’t just fall into bed and had a happily ever after. I love how they dated and made sure they actually liked each other, both satisfying they’re human and shifter side. The journey was amazing love the political intrigue behind the scenes that I’m sure will add an ad and become explosive in the next few books. The writing was great the smexy was hawt and the side character were cool. Can’t talk much on to the next book. I’m hooked. These books should be read in order and are not standalone
This book was just okay. The overall storyline was pretty interesting, the one that seems to cross several books, but the independent storyline of this book was a bit predictable and boring. It took me a super long time to read this book - which is a testament to my level of interest. The writing itself was okay at some parts and poor at others.
I don't know yet if I'll read the next book or not, maybe if I find myself without something to read. This book wasn't bad, it just also wasn't anything to gush over.

IF YOU SEE THIS, PLEASE GIVE ME YOUR FEEDBACK ON MY NEW RATING AND REVIEW SYSTEM. IS THERE ANYTHING I SHOULD ADD, CHANGE OR REMOVE TO IMPROVE IT? PLEASE AND THANK YOU, LOVELY READERS.
**Level of Smut is referring to how to tame vs explicit it is, which is why I went with this rating system. THIS IS NOT A RATING ON HOW MUCH I LIKED THE SMUT. Kissing and/or making out does not count as smut. Also, when I say ‘sex scene’, if someone has an orgasm, I’m considering it a sex scene; no matter how they get there. G (Score of 1) - No smut PG (2) - 1 sex scene books PG- 13 (3) - 2 sex scene books R (4)- Your standard 3 sex scene book. These generally aren’t as long of sex scenes or as descriptive. X-Rated (5) - all the good stuff is in here, baby, and a hell of a lot of it. This would also mean that the story is extremely descriptive, as well.
*** Quality of Smut is referring to how well the smut is written, according to my tastes. I have certain words and kinks, etc, that I am not a fan of and will automatically drop it down if I see it. That may not be the same case for you. I’ll try to include my reasoning if there’s anything specific. (A+ = 5 - E = 1)
**** Did it Make Me Sweat ;) ? Tbh, did it turn me on? Did I want to read more and more sex scenes (The answer is almost always yes)? This is different from quality because of the simple fact that the smut doesn’t ALWAYS have to be A+ quality to make me sweat… or does it??? I guess we’ll see.
Edit: DNF at 57%. I'm in a bit of a finicky mood when it comes to what I read at the moment, I can admit that, but with this? I've just lost interest. I don't care what the problem is, I don't care about the growing relationship. If you're reading reviews and wondering if you should pick this book up, I can honestly say if you've got Kindle Unlimited, then give it a go, you might like it. If you don't, read the first 10% and see how you feel, if it doesn't draw you in then don't waste your money on it.
Currently at 37%, I'll update with a rating and further review if I ever finish it or drop it as a DNF.
Before I attempt to carry on reading however I just have to get something off my chest. This book has glowing 4-5* reviews, and yeah, so far in general it seems interesting enough but there is one point that is beginning to seriously piss me off. The whole 'barren omega, alpha needs an heir' thing is bullshit. Why is it bullshit? Casius is the Supreme Alpha SELECT, he is living, breathing PROOF that a biological heir isn't fucking necessary! Yet they all seem to be getting their knickers in a twist about it. Even Casius worries how his alpha, who he is THE NON-BIOLOGICAL HEIR TO, is going to react to the possibility of him mating with a barren omega. I honestly don't know how much more of this nonsense I can take.
Rating: 3.5 stars Despite the fact that I despise mushrooms (and there was a lot of page time devoted to them), I enjoyed reading this book. There were just a couple of things that brought down my rating. One: It ended on a cliffhanger and I hate cliffhangers more than I hate mushrooms. Two: It was just a tad too predictable for me. Overall, I did enjoy it and I will read the next one in the series.
His Forever Mate is the first book in the Everglow Pack series by Liam Kingsley and Jenny Tia. I really liked the story of Fated mates Supreme Alpha Select Casius from the Everglow pack and omega Julian from the Goldleaf pack. The sub plot was really original and I can't wait to find out what happens next.
Action packed, sexy, fun, engaging and emotional adventure filled with danger, suspense and undeniable passion... an edge of your seat read from beginning to end and so hard to put down. Really enjoyed the charters I got to know on this journey.

i enjoyed this.. it is a cliffy though which grrr lol.. i liked the characters and the storyline. i will admit i was irritated that somehow the wolves didnt know humans are around. i was confused.. i can understand humans not knowing but wolves.. idk.. but overall it was an enjoyable story so i liked it
This was an interesting alpha/omega m/m romance book. I enjoyed reading how Casius the alpha wolf found his fated mate in Julian. Julian who thought he was "broken" found his alpha who completes him. Great story. I believe the ending is a cliffhanger for the next book that features Julian best friend Stef and Casius' buddy Nic.

After reading it once, I forgot most of it over time. My reread reminded me why I should have left it behind. The good news is, it'll be forgotten again soon! 😁👍
The biggest problem is that -
This is a basic alpha/omega shifter romance. The alpha is about to become the Alpha Supreme and needs a mate. He finds one, an omega who can't have kids—or can he? If you're familiar with these books, the answer won't surprise you.
There's a subplot about supposedly extinct humans, who are doing bad things and causing war. Once that storyline took over, my interest completely faded.
Recommended for fans of inferior stories featuring wolf shifters, mpreg, omegaverse, fated mates, and mushrooms (mentioned 46 times).
Casius has been chosen as the Supreme Alpha Select for the entire state of Colorado. He has trained and been groomed for the position since he was 14. However in order to take his place as Supreme Alpha he needs to find a mate. Time is running out but Casius won’t settle for anyone other than his fated mate.
Julian is tired of hearing the whispers and receiving the side eyes from everyone in his town. As an omega who has never had a heat, Julian is constantly reminded by his parents that’s he’ll always be alone because no one wants a barren omega.
When Julian goes to a party hosted by his Alpha he is more than surprised when he captures the attention of the sexiest Alpha he’s ever seen.
Casius thought this party was going to be a bust but he didn’t want to insult the Alpha of the neighboring pack by blowing it off. He begrudgingly goes then while there he is suddenly overwhelmed with the most enticing aroma he’s ever come across. And when he finds the source of the smell he makes eye contact with his fated mate.
Julian has a fated mate. He can’t believe it. How long will it last when Casius finds out he’s barren. He won’t dare get too attached to Casius but the more time he spends with him the more perfect he finds him.
They will have to face many obstacles. They hope their love will be enough to see them through.
I absolutely loved these characters. The subplot was very unique and am looking forward to seeing how it plays out. My only concern is that the subplot will drag on and the future books will become stale because of it.
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.
Casius is the Supreme Alpha Select and he has to find a mate before he can take over from the Supreme Alpha, but he can’t find his fated mate in the wolf packs of Everglow, so his alpha sets up a singles party with the alpha of the Goldleaf pack. Cas doesn’t want to go to the singles mingle, but goes anyway and while there, he scents the most beautiful smell which leads him to his mate.
Julian is twenty six years old and he is an omega, but he has never gone in heat once. He is rejected by all the alphas in his pack and is criticised by his family because of this, but mostly rejected by his mother and ignored by his father. He genuinely feels unloveable and worthless. But his alpha holds him in high esteem and has taken him under his wing. Which is why when his alpha orders him to attend the single mingle he set up with the alpha of the Everglow pack, he goes begrudgingly.
Julian is surprised when he meets his fated mate there and they hit it off. Julian doesn’t want to tell Casius that he is barren and hasn’t had his heat come on once. But when Casius visits Julians parents, he is told that Julian is barren. Cas says that he doesn’t care, Julian is his fated mate.
There is a lot that they have to work through and then they are faced with a dangerous matter that affects all shifters. What is the fate of the shifters and will they find a solution. We are left with a cliffhanger that will continue in the next book.

This is the first book in a new series and it ended with a huge cliffhanger so it seems this series will need to be read in order. Casius needs to claim a mate before he can take over as Supreme Alpha but really wants to wait to find his fated mate. Julian is an omega who has been made to feel unworthy and he has very few good things in his life. When Casius and Julian meet for the first time, the pull between them is undeniable but they want to take some time getting to know each other first. As a reader you can really feel the intensity of their connection grow into a genuine affection and heartfelt love. The supporting characters are also unique with some you will adore, while others are mysterious, nasty, sweet, or secretive and it will be interesting to learn their stories. This story is full of intrigue and the people are learning that the past was not what they thought and the truth will have dire consequences for their future. There are many people with secrets and it will be interesting to set how it all plays out. This is an enjoyable book but I am not a very patient person and really do not like waiting for the next part of a story and that is why I gave 4 stars instead of 5. That said, I will be eagerly waiting for the next!

How do you convince your fated mate he isn't broken? Just love him.
This is a great way to start a series! The world is alive and vibrant. The characters are well thought out and intriguing. This is a whole new twist on a shifter world... no humans... or are there. I was pulled in from the first pages. I did not want to put this book down! Julian thinks he will never have a mate. Who wants an omega who had never had a heat? When he attends a mixer held by his pack to introduce singles from a neighboring pack, he finds out. He has a fated mate. Maybe this is what his body has been waiting for. Supreme Alpha Select Casius has to find a mate, fast. He doesn't want just anyone, he wants what his parents have...a fated mate. The mixer seems like a waste of time until he feels the mating pull, leading him to Julian, his fated mate. Julian's distrust of authority, Casius's duties, a 2 hour drive between their packs, and a newly discovered threat to their very existence, make the road to HEA an interesting one. You will love this book! This book has no closure. It will be continued in the next book. The danger amps up, a new romance will bloom. I can't wait to read it! This book contains adult themes and language, mm sex and is intended for mature readers only.
1) amazon seems pretty certain book two is not out till March. 2) wolves do not have cubs....they have pups
Now to the good (and so much):
I could not put this down. I have been wanting another O Verse for a while (specifically since book four of Ms. Phoenix Irresistible Omegas) and here it is. OMGosh, this book.....amazing!!!
The love story being so intertwined with the world events made both that much more intense. If you are a fan of Ms Phoenix and her merry band I truly believe you should not pass this by.
The back stories were better as we discovered them with characters and were not just lectured at. Characters made dumb choices and some good ones (don’t we all), but all had understandable consequences.
Humor and passion were present in the love story. Conspiracies and plots were in the world story. I was a bit surprised that we were given so much background on one guy from the past, but I enjoyed it.
I usually like a hint of story to come from reviews...but I did not even read last page first! Think enjoyment will be increased “knot” (HA) knowing too much.
A bit reminiscent of Cinderella, albeit very loosely in the sense that a mistreated son who is the last of his siblings to find "the one." We're introduced to Casius who is heir apparent to become Supreme Alpha once he meets certain requirements, with finding a mate taking priority. The alpha of a neighboring pack sets up a gala of sorts to allow Casius to mingle with potential partners, and ultimately runs into his fated mate, Julian. I would say this follows a fairly traditional shifter story-line with some light angst and familial upheavals scattered throughout. Although enjoyable and sweet there was something missing that would really capture my interest. This may be a personal issue and I may need to take a break from this genre, since I've been reading quite a few of these novels and they're all becoming the same. If you're in the mood for a solid fated mates story with some twists and turns thrown in here and there, then you'll probably enjoy exploring the relationship between Casius and Julian.

Great backstory and set-up for the series. Casius, Alpha is Supreme Alpha of Colorado Select. He rightfully feels he has big shoes to follow, but Alpha Hughes is confident. Julian, Omega from Goldleaf has not had a heat at 25, so he's presumed infertile. No Alphas in his pack want him. He is mocked and ridiculed in his pack and ignored. His parents consider him a disappointment. His Alpha, Truitt is compassionate. Alphas Truitt and Hughes decided to hold a single mingle in Goldleaf. Casius and Julian meet and recognize their fated mate truth. They decided to get to know each other. That is the easiest challenge that face the pair. The communities find out their history isn't exactly as they've been led to believe, all pack mates are not loyal and life is about to get very complicated for the shifter world. Secrets are revealed. People are not who they seem to be. Can Casius and Julian handle the challenges coming their way? Will Julian agree to be Casius' mate? Great story. All the characters have potential, Stefan, Nic, Mikel sound fun. I received an ARC from Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
To my ratings: A 3,5* is clicked with a 4* but in review marked as 3,5*:
5* - very very good and rare (it would be a Blow-Away-book like ‘Jesse's Smile’ or ‘Joey’ from Angelique Jurd, ‘Save the the kids’ series from EM Leya, ‘Love’s Tethered Heart’ from C.L. Etta or ‘Liberty’ from Seth King), it's like an A+
4* - very good and will be often reread and is a WOW-book with interesting plot and surprises (like most of Andrew Grey books and Davidson Kings 'Haven Hart'-series) it's like an A
3,5* - a really good book, which will be reread a few times (most romances where you can enjoy for relaxing and during waiting times in hospitals). I can recommend them definitively! It's like an B+
3* - it could be more then a one-time-reader (2-3 times a year), it's like a B
2* - it was ok to read, but it's more a one-time-reader (I wouldn't recommend it heartily, but it was ok) It's like a C-, D
1* - sorry, but that isn't really a book for me (too many mistakes, not nice plot, illogical, so an absolute NO-GO). It's like failure in the whole line, dismissed, repeat the class
It has been quite a while since I’ve read such an intriguing MM shifter romance & it is a splendid start to the new series “Everglow Pack” The story-line & plot is well-written & interesting with some unusual situations & heart-wrenching moments. There is good scene descriptions & world building. The characters are well-developed & likable with different sides to their personality & portray believable emotion feelings according to the situation they currently find themselves in. There is: a Supreme Alpha Select wolf shifter (Casius) discovers his mate (Julian) from another pack but there is trouble on the horizon, a caring pack alpha (Truitt), various kinds of shifters, humans, wolf shifter packs, uncaring manipulative parents, fated mates, drama, intrigue, suspense, secrets, action, adventure, shifters, humans, threats, danger, enemies, murder, violence, conflict, missions, deceit, betrayal, mating ceremonies, surprises, some steam, contentment but sadly this book does end with a cliffhanger & I look forward to the next book with great anticipation.
Wow what an exciting start to a new series, and i will be biting at the bit for more after this one i can tell you. This Author is so good i can say that i have put him up with my other must read Authors... Yay
Casius is Supreme Alpha Select, next in line for Alpha of the Everglow shifters after Alpha Hughes steps down. However now is the time the Alpha has told him he has to find his mate, and has sent Casius to Goldleaf. This is where he finds his fated mate Julian, both never believed in the fated mates theory, but one look is all it takes for Casius to exclaim "Mate".and they feel the pull, they know. Julian is an account, his family have always put him down, and cant believe that Casius is his. But while Casius is courting Julian there is other things going on in the back ground, humans have been spotted. Humans who the shifters have been wiped out ages ago. I tell you book lovers of mpreg that this story really is a must read, its exciting and im pleased to see there is another match coming. So dont dally, one click now!
This is the first book in a new series, the Everglow Pack series. I loved Casius from the beginning. He's the Supreme Alpha Select and will take over as his pack's leader once the current leader Alpha Hughes steps down. One thing Casius needs is to find a mate. He's been holding out to find his fated mate. Alpha Hughes and the Alpha of the neighboring town of Goldleaf set up a social event to help Casius. There Casius meets Julian, a wonderful omega. I love Casius and Julian, they're so sweet together. This book is full of action, has wonderful world building, and is full of survivors. The pack's very existence is questioned, secrets are revealed, and war is looming. This is a wonderful book that leaves you wanting more and I recommend it. I can't wait for Nic and Stefan's story and more of Casius and Julian.

His Forever Mate is the first book in the Everglow Pack series by authors Jenny Tia and Liam Kingsley. This story is written in dual POV and I loved both Casius and Julian. They are great characters and make a great start to this new series. Casius: born to a world without humans in it. Trained as a protector to the inner guard. He was next in line to become Supreme Alpha of Colorado. He has to take a mate and soon to secure his position. Julian: lived in the Goldleaf pack all his life. The woods are where he finds peace. He is Omega at the bottom of the pack. He has never had a heat so most thing he is worthless. These characters have strength, love, and caring hearts. I loved getting to know them. Give me MM and werewolves and I am in heaven. This story is great, and I am glad I got the chance to read it. I cannot wait for more from this series in the future.
Cassius is Supreme Alpha select - but to claim hisposition when the time comes. he must have a mate. He wants what his parents have - his one fated mate - and until a party is planned at Goldleaf to introduce alphas to eligable Omegas. When he meets Julian, it's as though he has found everything he has been searching for Julian is an unmated Omega whom everybody beelieves to be barren - how can he possibly be enough for a mate to a Supreme Alpha Select? But the heart wants what the heart wants - and it seems the Moon Goddess must know what she is doing. When a war breaks out, it sems that they might all lose more than they are prepared to give - I cant wait to read more about the characters in this story!

My heart broke for Julian - his family treated him poorly and the things they said to him were unforgivable. Despite growing up in a cold household, Julian was down to earth and sweet. His family put him down constantly, labelling him “defective” yet it was the damage it caused him emotionally, that truly broke my heart.
There was one part towards the end that truly hit me. Julian finally found the missing piece, one that answered so many questions. This part was very emotional and it made my heart ache.
This book ends in a cliffhanger so please be prepared. I eagerly look forward to reading Stef and Nic story.

Who is Casius? What is he? Where is he from? Wowsers! I was floored and what I learned about with regard to humans in Casius's time. Who and what are Julius and Stefan? What does Chris say that angers Stef? When Casius meets Julian, the book gets funny as all get out. Especially when Alpha Truitt finds them talking. Things get very interesting as the human part of the story comes out and the truth behind it. Be warned that this ends on a total cliffhanger and now I cannot wait for the next book!
Received this book through BookFunnel for a fair and honest review. I am a reviewer for Bloggin' With M. Brennan.
A story of the Shifter Nation - a time when there are only few humans left and shifters are the most common species. One man, reared to become the next Supreme Alpha of his region, must find his mate to take over that role. For that purpose he is sent to a singles mixer in the neighboring town. Here he finds his fated mate. But before the happy end there is quite a bit of conflict, with a group of human guerilla fighters and with some people inside the shifter community. An interesting mix, sweet at times, thrilling at times. It keeps the reader interested in the story, with a blend of fast-paced and slow, sweet action. It's a fascinating take on the idea of the shifter universe. The idea that a mass disease wiped out the humans, and so therefore so much of what is humanity apart from shifters is legend not day to day understanding? The discussion between two members about humans being only male and female (in terms of conception and child bearing) where shifters are Alpha/Beta/Omega and how odd it feels to them...wow. Told entirely from the view of the shifters born after humanity was lost, and yet so much of common human technology and life is still a part of shifter communities...interesting in a good way. I enjoyed the new viewpoint and the culture this book lives in. I look forward to the next book, hopefully seeing Nic and Stefan's story and seeing how Cassius and Julian move forward.
Great start to this new series. Interesting story line with plenty of action and drama as a new threat to the existing world order is exposed. Suddenly everyone is in fear of their lives and amidst this chaos, we get to know Cassius Julien as they discover their they're fated mates. Julian has had a horrific childhood, hurt by those who were meant to protect him and I absolutely loved how protective of him Cassius was because he's such a sweet guy. There's plenty of secondary characters to round out the storyline and even though the book ends in a HFN cliffhanger, i definitely didn't feel cheated because this was a great introduction into this new world. I can't wait to find out more about it.
Casius knows he needs a mate then he meets Julian who has never gone into Heat. Supreme Alpha Hughes reminds Casius that when he takes over from him he is required to be mated and that he should actively look for his and tell him to attend a party held with another pack with the idea of mates connecting. When he arrived a scent attracts his attention and he seeks it out. Julian is pitied by many in his pack and seen as deformed because he has never gone into heat which means he will not have children. When Casius and Julian meet both are aware of their connection to be Fated-Mates.
