I have been learning Russian for a few months, and just found this book today. I enjoyed this short compilation of Russian stories that are read to young children.
I was already familiar with the stories in English, so that, coupled with the translations given, made them very easy to comprehend.
And best of all, the author included a link to her reading them aloud, which is great for language learning.
One of the best books I'd ever read for practicing Russian. It goes step by step, includes all the vocabulary very good explained before each piece of text and this help a lot. I'm so happy that I just read my first book in Russian!
