The third installment to the Essence series, Essence of Us, picks up where Essence of Me leaves with Jass and Montana celebrating their engagement and pending pregnancy. Of course there is more drama on the horizon and this couple's love and trust is tested once more. There was a lot of growth with these character as old hurts resurfaced. Both Montana and Jass had to learn to peel back the layers and expose their vulnerability so that the love they felt would strengthen and bind them forever.
Thoroughly enjoyed the entire series and the joy pain and healing this couple endured on their journey to love. Great read.

Well Done Complete Finale
Just when I thought I would get pissed and put this book down and NOT finish.... you did a great job with how you brought it ALL full circle and gave me my HEA!! Well Done Tiye. There is so much more I would like to say. But don't want to give any spoilers. For those who haven't read it yet. And to those who haven't read & complete the entire series it's a emotional rollercoaster but so worth the ride!!!

I have read every book by this author and I have been captured by each story. Montana and Jas’ story is so sweet yet shows the everyday struggles of being in a committed relationship. It shows that although your partner may not be perfect, LOVE can overcome all trials and tests. This was the perfect finale to Montana and Jas’ story!

Added bonus！
The edition of the extra chapters from Montana's POV added an extra layer of depth to an already heart-wrenching, emotional, beautiful love story. Jas and Montana's journey was a perfect example of love not coming easy, and proved that good relationships take hard work. Their's was a well earned HEA!

Fantastic and Emotional Book
I enjoyed reading this book so much! I couldn't put my kindle down! I enjoyed the storyline and the chemistry between Jasmine and Montana! This book brought out all of my emotions! Fantastic book!

I loved this book soooo much and I guess you had to endure the back and forth to get to this point!!!…
My heart broke for Montana, because the moment he wanted to snatch Pepper up in that mediation room, I knew she had done something so underhanded and I hoped Jasmine believed him!!!…
I loved that although ppl believed that Jasmine moved according to Montana, she made him fight for her and she suffered in silence because of her lack of confidence in herself, but was not afraid to spk about was was holding her captive and how she didn’t want to be like that!!!…
Ppl were so use to her being available to them, they were angry when her time was spent with Montana!!!…
I was so proud o Montana too!!!…He had so much to overcome, but was honest about his feeling and sought help to deal with the things that were beyond his scope of understanding!!!…
I was so glad that Montana and Jasmine went to their best friends to help them on their healing journey too!!…
Every single person in this book definitely got the happiness that their hearts was deserving of!!!..

Love, growth, and maturity...
I love the growth between Jas and Montana in this book Even though they battle a lack of distrust at times, the love was still there. Accountability for a lot of the characters was prevalent. Relationships were mended. Unbroken hearts became healed. I'm glad Jas and Montana overcame challenges to get to where they needed to be. I'm glad that therapy was introduced and happened between them because it helped them to be stronger together and individually. I have enjoyed the series and recommended it. The story will make you laugh and cry, giving you all the feels. Some of the friends became foes as well but glad that everything turned out the way that it should. This is a story of love, growth, and maturity to fight for who you want to get what you want.

Essence of Us
Lordy...these folks just didn't know what they wanted and the drove me insane for 3 whole books but I loved every moment!! Montana and Jasmine like flower 🌼. They were destined to be together but both were young and experienced broken hearts which can take some to to heal and repair and renew. Montana fell in love with a humble and headstrong woman who challenged his very existence and what she truly meant to him. They both has many challenges which included self Sabatoge, jealousy, friends and family. But in the end the wrote their own happily ever after. Bravo 👏. Must read!!

This entire series is 🔥! From start to finish I was engrossed and nervous, shocked, entertained, happy, sad, thrilled and happy as all get out.
It’s a page turner with the pacing as smooth as silk. I loved these characters and their antics. Clear out a block of time and get ready for the ride of your life!
This is a connecting trilogy, meaning the first two books have cliffhangers, but the third...the third brings it home, lock stock and barrel 🙂.
I definitely recommend this book.

True Love
Jasmine and Montana took me on this roller coaster ride of emotions. They went through some serious issues but love prevailed in the end. Kudos to Tiye Love for writing stories that takes you on emotional journeys as if you are sitting front and center watching each scene play out.

These people had me on a rollercoaster!!! But I LOVED every minute of it. I was mad, sad, fussing, happy, cried, I was just all over the place and wanted Pepper to...nevermind that isn't nice. Anyways Read the whole series, start at book 1 and no matter how mad and frustrating Montana and Jas make you keep READING!!

Well, this one took me for a loop. I was so angry with Jasmine that I almost gave up. I think the Pepper situation made me stay. She was so messy and I was truly Team Montana. Thankful therapy was the key for the couple. I enjoyed the entire series. I recommend you read in order. They are so good.

Finally
Although the other series were good, I really enjoyed this one. No homes were broken up. It was just a real love at first sight with 2 technically single people. I loved their story of overcoming the past and learning to trust together. Keep up the good work.

I gave the storyline in Book 3 a three star rating.
But, I read the BONUS chapters in the Essence of Us Special Edition Book #4 on 8/13/2021. That's where readers are able to get an inside look at Montana's viewpoint on his relationships. Especially his fear of committing to Jasmine, even loving her. I liked the fleshing out of Montana's character. It was good info.

What a ride. This was such a great read and even though we got our HEA, it was a rough road and I almost thought it wasn't going to happen...almost didn't want it to happen because of certain assumptions made (you must read to find out because I will NOT spoil it for you).

The culmination of this series was everything I expected and so much more! Jas and Montana's journey was not without it's fair share of drama, angst, twists and turns. But I found myself rooting for their HEA because in the end, the relationship they shared was so worth fighting for! I always try to steer clear of spoilers in my reviews, so let me just say that if you haven't discovered author Tiye Love, you're missing out on something great! Can't wait for your next project! Bravo Sis!

Great story
I rarely read a story line that would have me understanding accepting an outside child. This one came close. Jazz and Montana encounter hurdles on their road to matrimony. She really is too soft for him. Their love is real but enough is enough. Zena and Tarik face their own demons but poor Cali. It almost seems as if T was the love of her life and Montana messed it up. I enjoyed these characters !

Montana and Jaz I was happy they went through the muck and let love win. Everyone has a past but without open and honest communication your past can negatively effect your future. Couple that with insecurity and it's hard to win without hard work and effort. Jas and Montana put in both. Great read

Perfectly imperfect love!
I absolutely loved Jas &Ana's imperfect love for one another! I really enjoyed this trilogy & how all of the characters made a complete circle in the end! I'm so sorry it's over. Excellent job Tiye Love!
