I’m not going to lie I was a little hesitant about Blaire’s book because in Aaron’s book I loved him so much and hated the way she treated Sam due to her jealousy, but as I read more I began to understand and even sympathize with her. She has been through a lot in her life looking for love wherever she could but not really seeing that is what she was doing. So, to get away from her current mind set she goes to help Beckett Stone a huge star that is dwindling in the limelight due to personal issues and bad songs. Blaire is amazing at what she does and knows the industry in and out, but her crushing on Beckett is not what she needs right now. Beckett has had a rough go in life even if he is rich and famous. He has a 12-year-old who doesn’t really know him, a failed marriage to a horrible gold digger, and his record sales are tanking, so he reaches out to the best to help his tour, Blaire. They try to fight their attraction as much as possible because they work together and need to make this tour epic. I loved that I got to learn and understand Blaire more because I won’t lie I did judge her a little and that is not ok, so Blaire I am sorry and so glad you found your happy.

Just For Now is book four in the Cataclysm series. It can be read as a standalone. I read all but one of the previous books and after the last one I wasn't a big fan of Blaire. In this one Blaire was really likable. Right from the beginning she was up front with herself and things. I liked that. She;s the PA for Cataclysm. Cataclysm is on a break between tours and Blaire needs break. She gets an opportunity to be a tour manager for Beckett Stone. Beckett is rockstar whose sales are declining. He needs a tour manager who will help him get things on track. Blaire really good at getting things done and she's exactly what Beckett need. I loved the chemistry these two have. Beckett has and ex that is demanding and causes problems. I loved how Blaire pushes Beckett to push to be better. As much as I was rooting from Blaire and Beckett, I was also rooting for Beckett to get his mojo back and get back high record sales. This one was a good read and I will definitely be picking up the next one when it comes out.

This was a very interesting take on a rockstar romance. So often, it is told as the person or band is either just being discovered or riding the high of being successful. To have a story in which this is an older singer that is struggling gave it a new depth. Music was still in his soul but, in the case of Beckett, it was stymied and bogged down in the quagmire of a manipulative ex-wife, a tween daughter, and a struggling tour. It was refreshing to see this side of being in music.

Add in Blaire, who also was struggling for plenty of different reasons, who had the experience of being a part of a tour, managing diva rockstars, and also need to rediscover her joie de vivre. I loved how the author showed the dynamic of music, how it isn't just happy times, that it takes work, and how important it is to find the spark that keeps the music alive. The characters, as usual, were top-notch, the chemistry was titillating, and had the fiery dynamic that I have come to love from this author. I love that she takes the time to showcase the eloquence and beauty of language by her careful choice of words that paint a picture with music because they are two of my favorite things in this world.

With Cataclysm on hiatus Blair finds herself at loose ends so when she has the opportunity to manage a single artist it seems like perfect way to fill her time until she is back at her regular job.

Beckett is struggling both personally and professionally. The tour isn’t progressing as well as expected and his relationship with his daughter he wants to be closer to. He hopes that hiring Blair will be just the medicine he needs to get organized in all facets of his life.

It is only a matter of time before the chemistry between them ignites and even though they both agree it is temporary it is starting to feel very different, but will they be able to leave their pasts where they belong?

Blair is sassy and strong and exactly what Beckett needs to heal from the past.

I have loved every single book in this series by Jerica Macmillan ,I cannot find anything I didn't like.
I Love my Rockstar Romances and Jerica writes such captivating, Steamy, and addictive ones.
They are always detailed in every way and you can imagine yourself there with the characters and feeling everything that they are experiencing....Just For Now was no exception,I loved it and enjoyed it immensely. I completely adore this Rockstar world Jerica has created.
This is Blaires book the PA for the band Cataclysm ,but while waiting for the band to start their tour she decides to take up a temporary job as a tour manager, for Beckett an aging Rockstar whose career and tour are in jeopardy, his life is a bit of a mess record sales and ticket sales are down, his ex wife is a gold digger who does nothing but bleed him for money and put him down..Using their 12 year old daughter as a pawn..so when Blaire arrives she is like a breath of fresh air,she is brilliant at her job, takes no crap from anyone and soon gets the tour back on track. The attraction they share is mutual and scorching and they decide to no strings sex, until she goes back to work for Cataclysm.Having Blaire around inspires Beckett to start writing music again,he is performing better and things begin to turn around...
But feelings start to get in the way,....and the doubts. Because of his ex wifes constant put downs Beckett thinks he is a failure and no one could possibly love him, they only ever want things from him not his love but what he can do for them..and he mistakenly thinks Blaire is the same.
Blaire is nothing like his ex wife she loves being with Beckett, and sharing time together in and out of the bedroom but all this miscommunication and misconception between them drives a wedge between them...a wedge that may never be moved unless they forget about past hurts and trust in Love and eachother.
I really wanted to bang their heads together at one point..lol..
This is an Amazing older man/younger woman Rockstar Romance and pure gold you will fall in love with Blaire and Beckett..and Jerica Macmillan's brilliant writing. It was such a pleasure to read and I could not put it down, I am so looking forward to the next book already.
I highly recommend this book.

Blaire is the PA for Cataclysm. She had an arrangement with two of the members but when one of them finds their high school sweetheart and rekindles their relationship she wants a change. So she takes the opportunity of a life time to be the tour manager for Beckett Stone's tour. Beckett's career is floundering, his album isn't getting radio play, album sales are down, ticket sales for his tour are abysmal and things are going wrong left and right on his tour. He has fired four tour managers and he is desperate. Blair is his last hope. When she joins his tour not only does she get the tour back on track, but she helps him find his mojo again. But that isn't all that they find together.

I was curious about Blair because the way Aaron's book ended with her felt off to me. It didn't add up to her personality that they kept shoving down our throats in the first three books. We did get to see a different more vulnerable side to Blaire that I respected and I loved seeing that aspect of her. I liked Beckett but I am not sure that I really knew him. I felt like a lot of him and his story wasn't developed enough. I did end up liking Blaire more than I thought I would and her relationship with Beckett got me up in the feels despite my issues.

5 Stars for this steamy rock star romance!

Beckett's tour is in trouble. He can't keep a competent tour manager, his records aren't selling and his concerts aren't even close to selling out. Then there's his ex-wife who is bleeding him dry. Her latest scheme is to go on a retreat for 3 months ... oh yeah and Beckett's 12-year old daughter will be joining him on tour while his ex is relaxing.

Blaire is bored while Catachlysm (the band she is the PA for) is on a break from touring for a few months. So Blaire decides to help Beckett out ... temporarily. Blaire has never been a tour manager ... but how hard can it be to look after a single artist's tour when in her real job she looks after a band of four guys? The thing that neither Beckett or Blaire counted on was the electricity that flows between them.

Rock star books are my favorite and I really loved this book! Beckett wasn't the regular rock star at the top of his game and Blaire is just a kickass at anything she attempts. This book had me laughing one minute and saying WTF the next! And then there's Beckett's daughter ... all I'm gonna say is WOW ... you'll get it when you meet her! Not only is this book great, but I have thoroughly enjoyed this entire series! I highly recommend it and I can't wait for the next book ... my guess is it's Viola and Mason's turn.

Blair goes to work for Beckett Stone, a rockstar with declining record and concert sales and he is hoping she can get them back to where they used to be. It’s going to take a lot of work but she is up for the task. but will she fall for the gorgeous rockstar Beckett Stone or will it just be another job? Beckett has lost his edge, his enthusiasm and desire to perform. It’s just automatic. The last album was written by collaborators by the label and not by him. So none of it has any feeling to it. these songs are just not his style. Not anything really very exciting anymore and that’s why the sales and radio play have declined. And then they are together. Convinced it is only consensual adult fun and nothing more. But when Beckett says “say you’re mine” she is ready, willing and able. but her contract is only three months long and Beckett hasn’t said anything about extending it. He told her from the very beginning that it was just casual but he wasn’t into relationships and not looking for anything serious. But that’s not what happened. Are they in love with each other for real or is it just casual sex. Has his ex-wife ruined him for any future relationships? Is he able to love again? His ex wife Malea puts garbage in his head and makes him rethink his entire life. Do people only want sex and money from him or is he worthy of someone else’s love? And what about Blaire? How can love that feels so right be so wrong? Has Beckett waited too long to profess his love? Will Blaire believe him? An excellent romance that leaves you on a roller coaster ride, up-and-down and up-and-down. But love the happily ever after ending. Happy for everyone.

5+ Scorching Stars for this Rock Star Romance!
This book just blew me away! Having read most of Jerica MacMillan's work, I can honestly say that 'Just For Now' is one of my absolute favorite of hers (second only to Summer Fling!).
This is a bit different from the rest of her usual books, in that this is an older man/younger woman trope and Jerica handled it brilliantly! The chemistry between Beckett and Blair is off the charts HOT and, though they both give it their best shot, it is irresistible. Blair agrees to work as Beckett's tour manager temporarily, because Cataclysm is on a break, and he is trying desperately to keep his rock star career afloat. Blair is a like a take-no-prisoners general and whips his tour into shape within a few shows and they decide to celebrate by partaking in a no-strings, mutually beneficial and very steamy arrangement. Of course, things get rather complicated; which leads to misunderstandings; which could lead to an existence neither Blair nor Beckett want - one without each other. The character development as they find their way back to each other is exhilarating to see and you can't help but read with bated breath to discover if Blair will get her HEA or not.
Although part of the Cataclysm series, 'Just For Now' is a stand-alone; although I do very highly recommend the whole series!

Having been with Jerica since the first book I can say she is a must read! Her stories just pull me in and I can't get enough. I feel like all her characters are people I know personally. Her writing takes you totally into their lives and Just for Now did not disappoint.

OMG - what a surprise it was!!! I wasn't sure about the older/younger relationship but Blaire and Beckett are a match made in heaven. They are adorable. Beckett's tour is in trouble and who better than the girl who helped him get a room when his tour manager screwed up at a festival. Not only is his tour in trouble but he's dealing with his ex who wants him for all his money and for him to take his 12 yr old on tour while she's off at a retreat. As luck would have it, Cataclysm is on a break and Blaire needs to change the scenery of her life. She takes the temporary job and soon the sparks are flying. I loved their interaction from the beginning. Blaire says it like it is and doesn't hold much back and Beckett can't get enough of her opinion and her. Before long the work arrangement is more. Will they be able to forget the past mistakes with love and get what they both deserve? Their road to love has a few emotional potholes along the way but it totally rocked!!!

Just For Now was a great read. I have loved all of Jerica’s books and this did not disappoint.

Finally, we have Blaire’s story. Although this is book 4 in the Cataclysm series, it can be read as a standalone but I highly recommend the series!

Blaire met Beckett in book 3 (Everything I Want) and you could feel their connection then and my lord, it catapulted in this book. Their chemistry was off the charts! Blaire is PA for Cataclysm and has always dreamed of being a tour manager. When Beckett's tour is failing beyond repair he contacts Blaire and it goes from there.

I think that Blaire is so misunderstood. She is amazing at what she does, she puts her heart and soul into everything even if it means getting her heartbroken. I loved how Beckett is older and knows what he wants. These two make a great team.

I don’t want to give any of the story away, you really do have to just go along with it. Just for Now is full off passion, suspense and will leave you wanting more.

Beckett and Blaire's story has everything I love to read. Of course nobody is perfect. Beckett is a rock star and he loves and values his job which I like about him. And I am so grateful for him to stand for his ex at some point. Blaire is more complicated character than Beckett but she is so strong which I love the most. Beckett and Blaire also have their own baggage but when they are together, I feel like everything is so perfect. This is a book of rock star romance that I find it interesting which rarely happens because it is not my favorite trope. The story is well written and I can't wait for reading the next one.

This is a great rock star romance and this author always does it the best! Blair is a manager that does her job great with her band but they are off right now. She’s asked to fill in for Beckett’s tour and she agrees. But she’s secretly had a thing for him for along time but she always acts professional and will not cross that line. Beckett is thrilled that she’s filling in and hopes it will turn the tour around. He’s attracted to her but has a policy not to sleep with the women he employs. Will these two stay professional or will the attraction be to strong and pull them together? Will it lead to more if they do and what about her leaving later for her band? I have absolutely loved reading the Cataclysm series from Jerica MacMillan. Blair needs a break from Cataclysm, away from her feelings for Aaron and her guilt about Mason. While on her break she takes a job as a tour manager for Beckett Stone. Beckett has had really bad luck with tour managers until Blair helps him on the fly finding a hotel room. When Blair and Beckett meet and begin working together, sparks fly and an instant connection begins to forms. Just For Now is a captivating must read from Jerica MacMillan filled with passion, heartache, witty banter, friendship, second chances, forgiveness, and love. Readers will fall in love with this story line and these wonderful characters. I can't wait for the release of Mason's story.

Jerica does rock star romance with such a way that has you feeling on tour with these characters.

You are connected and drawn to them in ways you don't understand but it's deep and consuming. The storytelling is top shelf. Jerica has that hardcore book voice that has you feeling the music as you get caught in the pit. It's a rush!!

The emotions, the struggles and the denial of that soul consuming romance. For fans of a strong written, powerful characters and soul screaming rock star romance....make sure to thank Jerica for this one because you'll LOVE it. I received an ARC for an honest and voluntarily review.

Just for Now is sexy and full of explosive chemistry. Blaire was not one of my favorite characters from previous books, but I am so glad I had an open mind with Just for Now. I adore Blaire! She’s a woman who takes cares of those around her. She’s the personal assistant to the busiest bands around Cataclysm. But right now, they are on a break and she could use a distraction. She’s ready to spread her wings and kill some time. So, when Rockstar Beckett Stone offers her a job for the second time, she’s ready to agree. Never mind the fact that he’s older and that she’s had a secret crush on him since she was young.

Beckett and Blaire fight their attraction and then will have to decide if what they have is worth fighting for. This couple is explosive and perfect. I couldn’t get enough of them. I love that we catch up with the Cataclysm family and fall in love with the new Beckett Stone group. Pick up Just for Now today and lose yourself in the world Jerica MacMillan has beautifully created.

Just For Now
By Jerica MacMillan
Main Characters: Beckett and Blaire
I voluntarily and honestly reviewed this book without bias or persuasion from the author.
3 out of 5 stars
I enjoyed the story but would have liked to see Blaire older like maybe 30. I wasn't a big fan of Beckett when he couldn't seem to stand up to his ex-wife. Now Blaire, on the other hand, is a strong female m/c. I wanted to see what happens to Beckett's ex-wife and his daughter. I also felt like the ending was rushed and I even kept trying to turn the page because I couldn't believe it was over. I do enjoy this author's books and will continue to read them.

I love this series and I have been anxiously waiting for Blair's book. Jerica MacMillan did not disappoint me at all. This book was everything that I wanted Blair's book to be. Beckett was the perfect match for her. Blair is a strong female who really only is looking for someone to love her. Beckett is very unsure of himself but that is mostly because of how is ex wife puts him down. The attraction between them is very hot. They decide to try the whole sex with out strings thing and we all know how well that works! There is always lots of strings. Pick up this book and find out exactly what those strings do! Well damn it...

This book!! WOW...I had so many emotions all over the place with this one. I laughed out loud, I cried with tears streaming down my face, there were hot AF scenes and there was a daughter that had me comparing hey attitude to my own daughter. They matched up well. Gotta love teens!
This author knows how to draw you in and keep you there from start to finish. I couldn't put this book down when I started it today. I couldn't wait to get to the end to see how it played out but then I didn't want it to end. I have questions that I'll hopefully get the answers to in the next book.
OMG I can't wait to read the next one. It's getting downloaded now!!

Will Beckett and Blair be able to make their relationship work? Will they get their hea? This story will take you on an emotional roller coaster ride that you’ll be glad you were on!

Finally, it is Blair's turn.
Blair gets an offer she can not turn down, to be manager of Her favourite singer and biggest crush Beckett. His tour is screwed up, his sales at all time low and songs are not being played on the radio.
Blair fixes that. But can they resist the attraction between the 2 of them.
He does not get involve with someone working for him and she does not want more rumors about her.
But they decide to just have sex and not let emotions become involved.
Will that stay true?
Loved these 2 together.
I can not wait for Mason's and Viola's story.

I completely fell in love with Blaire and Beckett. It was hot and sexy and I just adore how take charge she is in her job. I hated in the past that she always got such flack for being free with her sexuality. That interaction with the record executive just killed me. She deserves to find love and so does Beckett with all of his bad luck. I'm glad we finally got Blaire's story. It's definitely been a long time coming.

I am a huge fan of rockstar romances, and of the fling to romance trope. Jerica MacMillan’s Just For Now does both perfectly. Blaire and Beckett’s story is a finely done romance. Even a flavor of A Star is Born, one of my favorite movies, whether it be the ‘37, ‘54, ‘76 or recent 2018 version (yes, Blaire’s a rock tour manager so not a performing star herself, but still has the great flavor). Totally yummy, I highly recommend this book

This is the fourth book in the Cataclysm series.
Blaire’s the PA for Cataclysm and while on a break, she gets to work as tour manager for Beckett Stone.
Despite the age difference, the attraction between them is huge, but she makes it clear that she’s temporarily working for him and doesn’t want to get involved, since her “real” band is on a break.
I liked how Blaire helped Beckett get things on track.
I really loved this story and the characters. I recommend the reading.

Enjoyed!

I’m not a huge rockstar romance fan but I love age gap so this intrigued me. I actually really enjoyed this story. What really solidified my enjoyment is that the rockstar wasn’t portrayed as some aging manwh*re. He was a good guy, yes a grumpy rockstar but I didn’t get the typical drugs and sex with anyone storyline which made this such a good book to read. It’s funny, steamy, passionate with a good emotional aspect.

I really enjoyed Blaire and Beckett's love story! I love Blaire's character and how strong and kickbutt she is in her job and her life! She goes for what she wants and doesn't stop until she gets it; which makes her vulnerable moments that we see in this book even better. Thank you for writing such strong characters and wonderful stories!!

Super woman Blaire

Blaire is certainly a kick ass gal that knows her job and don't take sh*t from no one. Even though she wanted Beckett more then anything she walked away when he insulted her. I absolutely love Blaire in this series and I'm happy she finally found her special someone. I really enjoy reading these books.
