Leah’s landed her strangest job yet. As a party planner, she’s worked on some crazy events but this one? It takes the cake.

The Prince of Morovia’s father has passed away. With no way to inherit the throne but to marry, he and his mother have come up with a plan straight out of a fairy tale and they want Leah to help them with it.

With several luscious events and the perfect ball to plan, Leah doesn’t have time for romance. She doesn’t trust it. But day by day the Future King is falling in love with her, and little by little, her reservations are being eroded away.

But is a happy ever after something you can really have or does it belong with glass slippers, roses and magical curses - in a fairy tale?

A sweet romance, a beautiful castle, a handsome royal,, and a party planner unprepared for what fate has arranged for her.

This is a sweet story about a soon to be king who must find a queen before taking the throne. After hiring an event planner to plan all the festivities with the top three candidates, Oren finds that he is more drawn to the planner, Leah. Although the story is clean and moves at a good pace, it was a little crazy to think that Oren and Leah would proclaim their love for one another after less than a week and a couple quick kisses. Good development of characters, including the siblings of both Oren and Leah and the Queen Mother. Looking forward to the next book as I am guessing Ellie and Carsten’s story may have a few more fireworks!

This is not the typical book that I read but I so enjoyed it! Its a super sweet story about a prince who needs to find his queen before he is crowned king. The story is set at a good pace and the characters are very well written and they're development is wonderful. The way Leah and Oren fell in love so quickly reminded me a little bit of Disney. I cannot wait until the second one comes out!

A sweet fairy tale of a story, one you can get lost in,
and makes you want to believe in fairy tales again,
that a handsome prince will sweep you off your feet.

King Thomas of Monrovia has passed. His first born, Crown Prince Oren is presumed to be king until the will is read. Thomas has added a condition for Oren to access to the throne permanently. he must marry within the next short period of time or the crown and kingdom will go to his brother who. lets face it, does absolutely not want it.
Oren meets with his mother who, after a brain storming session, suggests that they proceed like another small country just did and hold an event hosting three young single noble women, to be chosen by Oren, and conclude the weeks festivities with a ball where Oren will present and his wife the future queen . They need event planners and three firms are chosen to offer their presentation.

Leah works at an event planning firm that figures on the list. They have been advised that a presentation will have to be made to a king and Leah has been chosen. The morning of the presentation, Leah, in a hurry, buys a coffee and looking at her phone, while walking spills her coffee on the white shirt of a passerby. She gives her card offering to absorb the cost of the cleaning and rushes off to her meeting. As she is introduced, she turns around and looses all colors when the king is introduced. He is the recipient of the coffee that she spilt.

The author has masterfully created a fantastic love story. She has also implanted the idea of a possible romance between Leah's sister and Oren's brother, the two archeologists. This is one of the best royal love stories that I have read and I look forward to reading the sequel. 5 Stars +

4 stars for Heart Given by Rae Johnson. This is book 1 in the Royals of Morovia Series. This is my first book from Rae Johnson and I will say that I am now a fan. I would consider this a sweet contemporary romance. I do not normally read this type of book; I am glad that I did. This is a sweet romance that reads like a fairy tale. You have the prince and your average girl who fall in love, what girl hasn’t wished for that at one point in their lives. The book itself is about a soon to be king, who must find a queen before he can take a throne. What better way to find your Queen than to throw a ball right? Leah is a party planner and has been tasked with planning the ball. This is the start of everything between these two. I was pulled into the pages by the chemistry between these two. I enjoyed this clean romance more than I thought I would. It was well written and east to read. I think the cover of the book portrays the type of book that it is. I am looking forward to reading more from this author.
