This book is all over the place and has no clear audience. It pushes entrepreneurship pretty hard which can be fine, but ignores all the important factors of owning a business... Especially the important one of having a marketable product and the money. It most likely focuses on it because he wants you to read his other book for entrepreneurship. Also one of its first couple pieces of advice is to not be involved in teenage pregnancy and get married/stay married. Those aren't really the types of advice I thought I would be getting. There's got to be a better book for advice.

The book provides many great tips and ideas, I've got quite a few insights!
However it oversimplifies the topic.
Just ignore your emotions and tick the boxes! If only it would have been so easy.

In"Poverty Proof" author Douglas Kruger shares various thoughts on how one can improve their financial situation, by changing our thoughts and behaviours. It's a short book, that gets straight to the point: are you able to follow the steps, without getting bogged down by emotional noise?

The 50 ways Kruger mentions all serve to nudge the reader into thinking about starting a business or start investing. According to him that's the surest way to wealth, in a short amount of time. The conventional way, that of a job and saving money will not do much.

One wealth-building technique I got from this book that's worth sharing: start a family. It's a funny thought, but it makes sense: it'll force you to get your stuff in order. Whether or not I'll do that I highly doubt, but interesting nonetheless...

This book is repetitive, and the author repeated many of the same points frequently. The other problem is that all those things he mentioned were already available, and there is no new information that the author mentioned this book! Also, the author's focus is just to save and live below your means, which, in my opinion, is complete BS since inflation is increasing daily, and boy, you will wake up with your savings worth 50 percent less than before.
