Nagyszerű felvilágosító könyv, nem csak a változó testről és annak egészségesen tartásáról, hanem olyan létfontosságú dolgokról, mint a mentális egészség, a beleegyezés, a zaklatás, a csoportnyomás, a homoszexualitás, a családok sokfélesége. Mindenki (beleértve a saját) testének, lelkének, személyének maximális tiszteletben tartása.
I was sent on a number of pages out of the overall book to review.
These pages showed that this book has a wide variety of content for pubescent boys; growing pains, pimples, and social media to name a few. . The information was set out in a way that I believe children will really respond to, even if they aren't really readers. Not too heavy on details but getting the important information across, while also not grossing anyone out. Correct terminology is also used, as many parents are now aware it is important to have children informed about their body, including how to correctly identify different parts.
I decided not to show this to my 8 yr old, as I plan to now buy a copy for our home, for him to read in the coming years.
Unfortunately the copy I was sent didn't show the cartoon pictures clearly, so I am unable to comment on them, however, what I could see did look relevant while avoiding the text book or comedy feel that so often exists in these books.
