Camarih was baffled upon hearing Tony Wacko's deeply hidden and disconcerting secret. Feeling like she is unable to trust him with anyone anymore, she decides it's time to cut her losses as much as she can, and press on. Only hiccup is that Camarih must've forgotten that her newfound and now ex love isn't quite right up top. Packing up and starting anew won't be as easy as it was with her past relationships, because once the unhinged hood boy sets his sights on something, he never lets it go. And with Camarih being the first woman he's ever loved, her finding solace in another person, place, or thing, is highly unlikely and even more dangerous.
In the second installment, more skeletons will be revealed, truths will be faced, and hard decisions will be made. The love of off-kilter Tony and passionate Camarih is surely being tampered with, but a test or two is nothing to a certified gangsta that has no problem slanging a few bullets and exhausting all extremes to keep his girl. The other couples also return, one seeing the detriment their ill-fated affair has caused, and the other going from simple admiration to a whirlwind romance.
Wasn't expecting the ending because honestly I thought Carmiah wasn't going to ever find out who killed Driz. This was an okay read reason I said okay is because the disrespect that Tony gives is just too much at times. Yes I know it's fiction and it's apart of the storyline but the things that Tony have been doing and saying is ridiculous. No I'm not at writer but I am a reader so it's only right I give my opinion. First who in their right mind would stay with someone, who you know is in the next room sexing someone else while your there, broken up or not have RESPECT. It's many other things I will say but I'm not. I will say Shvonne is also a great writer but this book didn't do it for me but I will be reading part 3 to see what's going to happen.
Ugh! This was so bad man. Camarih is completely dickmatized and it turns her into a weak FMC! She has no backbone and let's Tony slide with to much ish in this book. A a matter of fact, all the men in these books are walking red flags. I love a good hood 🥷 but the ones in this series do to damn much. Don't even get me started on Wacko disrespectful a**. It was funny at first but there has been hardly any growth with this character. I understand him being true to who he is but at this point, it feels unrealistic and comes off as forced behavior. I doubt I'll finish this series but I am curious to see how everything wrnt down with Caramrih's first boyfriend. I'll continue on to book 3 bc I'm a glutton for punishment.🤣. I however do not have high hopes for book 3
Listened on Libby. Narrators Winston James. J. Y. Kora.
4 stars for just straight up entertainment. There’s a lot going on from every direction. Damn near everybody on some wild shit I’m here and some storylines are better than others. I do hope the wife to that “wanna not tell people he married” goes through with letting him go. Someone got to have some self respect in this crazy story 😂. At the end of the day this is urban for you. So if that’s not your thing this book /series is not for you.
Camarih and Tony have kissed (and kissed and kissed) and made up and everything is copacetic...except for that He-Man, Bobi, Nala, Stallion, and an occasional pop-up by Isis. Meanwhile, the Homies collectively, are liars and cheaters who only deserve a little lighter fluid if they were already on fire! And finally, some truths have DRIZ-zled out!
I couldn’t stop listening ! This book was full of drama and plots! Definitely well written. I couldn’t stop laughing at Tony antics he is just too damn funny. If you’re looking for a series that is entertaining as well as full of drama. This is definitely the book for you. Listening to book 3 now.
Overall I thought this to be ridiculous. And yet I couldn’t look away. All of these characters are a train wreck that I can’t stop reading about. At this point I’m hate reading and I wouldn’t have it any other way. The only person I can tolerate in all this chaos is Rubie. These people annoy me so much I’m not even sure I could binge this series. The decision making is in the toilet and everyone deserves the worst.
There’s nothing endearing about Tony. Camariah is a bird. A really really dumb bird. Eitan’s is full of audacity. Stallion 🗑️ Rahiem may trump Eitan on the audacity scale. Like Sir is delulu. There aren’t any words for how unbelievably ridiculous he is… where does he find the gall. Amara please, I really really can’t wait for you to humble him. Shaniece🗑️🗑️🗑️, I don’t think an explanation is needed. Selfish. Paul 🗑️ I’m sure more is to come Holli- 🗣️Ma’am Phoebe- well played. Because at this point decency don’t exist. And really your bird tendencies was never hidden. Armonn- girl 🤦🏾♀️ Rubie- I want the very best for her. I’m giving her and Jilly some grace.
Goodness, 3 more books left in this series. What else can happen? And how in the heck will any of this end with a HEA? Most of them need to live with their decisions and not bother anyone else 😂
Tony and Ari both have some growing to do; I’m hoping in book three, Ari drops that baby and starts laying heffas out. I have mixed emotions when it comes to Tony’s ignorant ass. Towards the end of the book, I saw he was working on trying to control his mouth 😂.
Rahim, I have no words! I’m glad Amara pulled the rug from under him.
Shaneice, I knew Kierra was too comfortable with Paul.
Hey there! Just a little heads up: don’t take this story too seriously. It’s so over-the-top that you can’t help but laugh! Tony really has no filter—sometimes his honesty comes off as rude, but it certainly adds to the fun. I found myself chuckling the whole time because it was just so crazy, and that reveal at the end? Absolutely amazing! I’m really looking forward to reading the next one!
This book is straight. Rahim's storyline is boring and exhausting. How does everyone want Tony like Brielle, the mom, Joy and Nala.. too much. Holli is definitely funny for beating up soft ass Eitan.. Tony is Tony.
I had to start reading this series because of everything I've heard about Tony Wacko. He is definitely unique/crazy but at least he is real. He be killing me. A lot of the secondary characters are funny too.
Who would have known that Tony Wacko would be one of only two people (along with Camarih of course) in this book with a modicum of common sense. I can categorically say that without exception, every other character in this book is incredibly FOOLISH (in CAPS)… maybe Amara, Rahim’s wife has sense, but literally nobody else is written like they got brain developing nutrients as young people. This isn’t even product of environment levels, this is self-sabotaging, knowing better but choosing worse character development, and whilst trainwreck compelling to keep you turning the pages, it is incredibly frustrating to read. And yes, I’m now stuck I’ll be checking out book 3 as well.
I consider it a minor miracle that I did not read this series as Shvonne was writing it because this cliff hanger would have ruined me. It is interesting reading this book because I realize the age of these characters plays a role in their actions and reactions. It is a big issue when the person who makes the most sense after Camarih, is Tony. On to book 3!
Again 3.75. Mess! All I can say is mess! I’ve had to start reading this is a comedy because even for fiction, Tony Wacko is a character that is just not believable. Camarih’s self-respect is at an all time low in this book. I also don’t believe that her and Tony are that attractive that everyone is acting a fool over them. Stupidness 🙄
I started skimming mid way of this one.... the language felt a lil remedial on the stuff the author chose to explain to set the scene. But that's a personal problem.
Tony.....one minute I like him the other I want to drown him. I'm just glad he's faithful otheewise I'd have to drop this series cuz not nam one of these niggas worth shit.
Rahim a dirty dog....glad everything blew up in his face. Shared all his personal info with a chic who has nothing to lose. His wife made me proud....ice him and yeet that baby sis. I hope nobody takes his ass back.....but Shanece a pick me I'm realising so she prob will. Meh.
I had faith for Eatin but he was scary @$$ lowdown guy.
That Brielle and Tony shit weird because he made it weird(imo). Is it conventionally frowned upon, yes.....but they didn't grow up together and knew each other first soo...but anyway, what made it weirs was his logic. How is having sex with your step sister weird but her slobbing your knob isn't. Guess she get it from her mama.
I understand this is the hood this is what hood relationships look like....but none of these women stand for anything and it sucks. I am begging for Rubie to get a diff man in the next books...PLEASE.
Can we talk about how the FMC's best friend really and shit? Their whole friendship was built on bs.And I wasn't expecting who put the hit on Driz but wow.
I lied, Tony is actually crazy, but still in a funny ass way. Rahim, you’ve been waiting for your lies to come out. That man lies like there’s no tomorrow. Shanece, baby, your husband was cheating just like you. Whew, and he got that nurse pregnant. Who cheats when they have cancer? Crazy work. Eitan, you got a certified nut pregnant, and honestly, you can’t be mad at Rubie when you’re still lying to her too. Rubie, baby girl, I need you to leave Eitan where you found him. You don’t want those baby mama drama problems. Thank God she left her bum ass ex-boyfriend, though. Jilly is MARRIED. I knew my fucking Kindle was reading that right. Camarih and Tony are crazy, but crazy in love. I like a mean nigga who’s only nice to his girl. Tony be lying too, because why didn’t you tell Camarih your stepmom tried to fuck you? This book stressed me the fuck out. I need a cigarette break, lol, and I don’t even smoke. 😭😂 Too many people want Tony for me cause why you got a mom and daughter fighting over man that's taken. WTF Prince payed to get Drizz killed huhhhhhh🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯

This one was just okay. Tony took the disrespect to a whole new level this book. Too far. But Camirah was being super childish as well. She was also more stressed with Tony more than she ever was with Prince but someway made it further through her pregnancy. The side characters continue to be weak. I literally roll my eyes every time I got to their POVs. I knew that bonb at the end was coming. I just didn’t know of it was Tony or Prince.
A few mixups. Again, certain parts were repetitive and shallow. I’d say almost every POV from Camarih we read that Tony smells good several times. Tony’s POV, Camarih is pretty. We get it.
I can’t finish the series. It’s not a bad series, it’s just not for me. It’s a 5 books series and it seems the cycle will be the women being dumb and taking whatever the men dish out. The man eff the attitude out of them and repeat. For the life of me, I’m not understanding what Wacko is doing so special to have all these dummies after him. He rude as hell. He call literally just stand there and they fall at his feet. We as women are not that easily persuaded. Even if he is fine. When he opens his mouth. He not fine no more. If you like rude, disrespectful men and weak women who just take whatever they dish out. This is for you.
This series is gonna be lit. My girl finally got her man. I hate that her ex boyfriend got her other ex boyfriend killed. And I think he is tryna set Tony up now. Prince is doing way too much for me me. Brielle is doin way too much too. Now her mother needs to go sit down some where. I hope my other too girls get their lives together. And I hate shance husband was not all that loyal and had an affair on her and got the chick pregnant ugh. Sitting here patting my feet while sipping on Pepsi and eating popcorn while waiting on the next book to read
3.5 🌟 this was a funny addition to the series. I want to know how everything works out with these couples but I don't have 3 more books in me.
Tony Wacko is deranged. he has funny one liners that made me giggle but honestly he is not a likable character. he is rude as f*ck. a bully. I don't see how he has friends let alone a girlfriend. none of the couples are goals. they are young and dumb and full of bad decisions and drama. very entertaining but also draining. taking a break from the series.
She did not come to play around. I have come to the conclusion that Tony is the worst out of all of them. Where did she find this man ctfu. I can’t with him. He had me in tears laughing so hard. I almost flared my asthma a couple of times dealing with him. I can only imagine part 2 smh. This man puts the othersto shame. And I’m so here for it. He has mothers and daughters at war and they don’t even know it! Sensational
I can't with this book! Rabin gets in my nerves with his lying cheating ass. Eitan is weak asf and lame. Why would you not tell Tony there is a threat on his life? Smh! These characters are dumb! Tony is the craziest but the best character in the book. Even Camarih works my nerves! Smh
I didn’t see that ending coming tho. Omg it was great read. I’m most definitely waiting on part 3. The drama, lies and scandals in this series is crazy. Tony is in a class of crazy by his self. Great job
Shvonne's storylines are always dope af. It's so much drama and so many twist it was hard to put down. What surprised me the most was Brielle's mom. That ending left my mouth on the floor. Excellent book Shvonne never disappointed me.
The first book was entertaining with a slight redemption arc, but this was horrible. The first chapter undid all the improvements Tony had made. Then every woman was weak, all the friends were cheaters and there was no substance.
This the most trifling disrespectful book that I've ever read! Please explain to me, how the hell do you still want a man after he invites a hoe over then proceeds to get oral in front of you AND sleeps with this woman while you in the house???
