Old school sci fi from a pulp.

Mr. Fyfe participated in Ww2 and on his leaving the military wrote pulp stories for a time. This story is about two humans on a planet of civilized lizardmen.

Contemplative short story examining loneliness, solitude, isolation and a small swipe at colonisation in the parameters of old school science fiction.

A wall of “eyes” keep aliens from escaping their planet. It would be an excellent idea for man aka the most pernicious vermin in the known universe to self-quarantine in a similar manner
