Originally from Ohio, I now reside in Texas with my folks and little sister. I'm a born again Christian and I want to give all the glory to God.

I love writing! I tend to lean toward suspense, thrillers, the occasional wholesome Christmas story and "what if" scenarios. Such as what if you were to check out a library book and someone unknowingly left a document in the pages that contained life-altering secrets concerning the government. That sort of thing.

Aside from writing, I'm always reading. I love the classics, historical fiction, adventures, survival, fairy-tale retellings, suspense, and any and all things Newsie related.

I very much enjoy plays and musicals, embroidery, road trip adventures with the fam, retro arcade games, and board games. I'm also very interested in weaponry (archery, swordsmanship, etc).

3.5-4* So excellently thought out! Three stories, each eight (and under) chapters telling a mystery story that allows you to guess along the way... that's just pure fun. They each were really easy to read through, and they were each so creative! The author's structure in writing is very unique and new to me. She introduces the situations clearly, and she told the story in a very direct, straight-to-the-point way.

For the stories Murder in Crestville, USA and Who Murdered the Most Hated Man in Town, I enjoyed following Beth and Rogers around! Beth felt like an EXACT Miss Marple, especially with her knitting and keen observation. XD Those two stories were my favorite. Okay, maybe it's because Beth and Rogers felt like such comfortable characters! I mean, nothing gets more comfortable than an older lady and her nephew solving a mystery together. I enjoyed The Clayton Agency (the second story), but just a tinzy tiny less than the other two (for no specific reason; maybe Beth and Rogers won my heart that easily already :D). Although, the characters had such great humor!!

The only con, really, was the slight lack of editing and the style of the writing that I'm not usually a fan of, but I still enjoyed the story very much, so that didn't affect my reading! :p

Puzzlers has great creativity behind each story. There were so many snippets of details that I found so hard to piece together (and no, I didn't solve any of them..), and in the end, there were some things that I just didn't see coming! SO. If you're a fan of cozy, easy mysteries that you wanna guess along with, go to Puzzlers!!!

Another great book by Virginia! Although this story was different from her other series, it was still equally enjoyable to read. It followed three completely different storylines with three different mysteries. Each mystery took place in different towns with new characters. Some of the characters were from other books she has written, which I thought was a fun author touch! All the mysteries were super suspenseful and I will admit, I was stumped on everyone. I was equally shocked with each new mysteries closing... especially the third story! :) I totally recommend reading these creative and unique mysteries if you enjoy mystery and an overall fun read! :D
