From design as art to design for function and commerce, this book surveys a broad range of art/design genres that have been enabled by, infused with, or changed by technology. 10-20 individual works are illustrated and they and their designers/artists are discussed in the four major categories the authors establish: Design Nouveau, Augmented Art, Guerrilla Artfare, and Twilight Technologies. It is an absolutely fascinating book for me and, I would suspect, for anyone interested in art and technology. I'm going to get my own copy.
