Discover the magic of the Bradens, and fall in love with Addison Cole's rich and romantic storytelling.

In AND THEN THERE WAS US…
Brianna Heart has a six-year old daughter and a twelve-year plan to keep her life as simple as possible until Layla turns eighteen. That means swearing off relationships and the drama that goes along with them, working two jobs, and being the best mother she can be.

The last thing Capital Series Grand Prix racer Hugh Braden wants after dating media-hungry leggy models and money-hungry fan girls is a blind date. But how could he turn down a favor to one of his best friends? Hugh expected the date to go poorly, but he didn’t expect to be intensely attracted to the beautiful brown-eyed bartender who completely blows him off—and steals his every thought thereafter.

When Brianna’s perfectly orchestrated life turns upside down, Hugh is there to help, softening the turmoil, and maybe even rescuing her heart from the lonely place where it has been hiding. Can a man who doesn’t believe in fate and a woman who doesn’t believe in true love find happiness in each other’s arms forever?

When dreams and reality collide, there's no way to guess where the heart might end up. For Hugh Braden and Brianna Heart, the skies the limit. Hugh has everything a guy could want. An awesome career, a loving family and more money than he could ever spend in one lifetime. Yet his heart tells him that something is missing. When a blind date gives him a glimpse into forever, he'll stop at nothing to make his wish come true. Can this adrenaline junkie convince the girl of his dreams to open her heart to him? Love is risky business, but somehow Cole turns the heartache into a pleasurable experience. And Then There was Us has winner stamped all over it.

* I have volunteered to share my review and all the opinions are 100% my own *

This is the story of Brianna Heart and her six year old daughter Layla.
Brianna has set herself a twelve year plan of swearing of any relationships until Layla turns eighteen and being the best mother she can be.
Hugh Braden, a Capital Series Grand Prix racer, decides to go on a blind date as a favour to a friend instead of dating his usual leggy blond models.
While on his date in the Old Oak Tavern, Hugh has only eyes for the waitress instead of his date and is determined to make Bree his.
Bree is quite independent and money cautious and when she meets Hugh sparks fly but she has to think of her daughter, but Hugh is so charming and wants to take care of both of them.
This is another great story by Addison Cole and look forward to the next instalment in this series.

This book was a great read and an amazing end to the Weston Braden series. I love the way that Hugh took Brianna's daughter into account for everything and really embraced becoming a parent to a child without holding back. It was interesting to watch him learn how to navigate and not spoil her all the time.

I hope to see more Weston Bradens in future books!

You know that saying your parents and probably you always say about if you lost something or need to find something stop looking for it? Well the same goes for love, it's always the ones that don't go looking for it, almost not wanting to look for it are the ones that find it, right infront of them. It still doesn't make love easy by a long shot but the truth seems to hold for love striking when one least expects it.

Brianna Heart is a single mother, life for her is carefully laid out and planned for the next several years. While this plan involves two jobs, no time for relationships and little time for herself, she is determined to make it all work. Yet everything seems to change when she meets Huge Braden. Everything was going fine until Huge. There was no denying the instant connection she felt with Huge, but he wasn't part of her plan, and Brianna wasn't so sure she should even entertain the question if he could be. Brianna finds herself questioning everything and just when things had all seemed perfect, things began to crumble around her.

Huge had everything he ever wanted at his fingertips, usually always got what he want as well even beautiful women, but that was the problem. While he seemed to have everything, there was a major thing missing in his life. True Connection.  Tired of the same old same old Huge is wondering if he'd been looking in all the wrong places, and seemingly ends up finding it right before his eyes in the last place he thought he'd find it, behind a bar, and her name was Brianna. An instant connection he hasn't ever felt before has taken him into overdrive and he's not so sure what to do with it. The one thing he does know though is he can't keep ignoring it. Whether fate is real or not, Huge knows he doesn't want to step away from Brianna, the only problem is , he's not so sure Brianna is thinking the same.

Will Brianna be able to step out of her carefully laid plans long enough to see Huge for the man he really is? Or will she shut the door on any chance of love? You will have to pick up a copy of And Then There Was Us to find out!

This was a very cute and heartwarming story, Addison Cole always does an amazing job of bringing two people together. Just when you think they don't really fit- they do! It was nice to see Brianna and Huge grow not just individually but together and they end up realizing that everything really does happen for a reason, even if you weren't looking for it, or ready. Love is funny that way .

‘Then There Was Us’ is the latest ‘Sweet with Heat’ treat by Addison Cole, and it is the sixth book in the Weston Braden Series.

Josh Braden has always been my favourite Braden boy, but by gosh does Hugh Braden give him a run for his money! He is successful, a racing car driver, adrenaline junkie, and a real charmer. But nothing makes Hugh Braden change his womanising ways, than Brianna!

Brianna is an aspiring photographer, she is a single mother who from the moment found out she was expecting, has put her daughter Layla first. She doesn’t have a lot, but she does have a huge heart with lots of love to give, and she showers it on her daughter to no end.

I love Brianna because she is down to earth, working hard and does not see herself the way others do. She is beautiful, inside and out, and she is doing the best she can at life.

So when Hugh Braden enters her life and scuppers her plan to remain single until her daughter reaches 18, she finds herself so badly wanting to be selfish and to put her needs first. But surprisingly, she isn’t the only one wanting to change. With all of his siblings gradually settling and finding their ‘forever loves’, Hugh is starting to crave stability, and something permanent. He is sick of the fame and lifestyle he’s become accustomed to, and when he meets Brianna, it scares him how much he feels for her.

Hugh charms his way not only into the heart of Brianna, but the way in which he completely spoils Layla is heartwarming, and this is my fave book by far!

An amazingly sweet read that will keep you revisiting Cole’s work time and time again! No one writes love like Addison Cole!

Out of all the Braden brothers I have been dying to read Hugh's story and I am so glad I got the chance with this sweet with heat version of his story from Addison Cole. Just when you think the Braden men cant get any hotter Cole drops this guy on you.

Hugh is a racing car driver, good looking and can have any woman he wants but he has been there done that and now as he is getting older and the last of the family to settle down he has decided it is his time. But how can someone like him keep such a low profile when it comes to dating, its damn near impossible. That is until he ends up in the Old Oak Tavern for a blind date and falls in love with the waitress instead!

Brianna or Bree has been working in the Tavern making ends meet for the last 5 or so years and has sworn of men until her daughter turns 18 - meaning she has twelve more years before she can date. That is just a maddening thought, but I can see why she has chosen to put her daughter first - why bring a man into the mix and if things turn sour it not affects Bree but her daughter Layla as well.

For Hugh he never envisioned and instant family, but he knew in his heart that Bree and Layla were right, and how he treated both Bree and her daughter will just melt your heart. He took into account Bree's fears of introducing him to Layla, and he also make a point to include Layla in any plans he had with Bree be it making sure her phone was on and loud should her daughter call to just putting her needs first over his.

Honestly Hugh may have been a player (heck all the Braden men have in way) back in the day but this story was just perfection, soppy, romantic and just swoon worthy.

I always try to preface my reviews of Addison Cole's novels with this bit of advice. "If you haven't read Addison yet, please start now." I have read so many of them and they really seem to get better and better.

I love her characters and Brianna is probably the most "real" heroine she's written so far. She's a single mom doing her best to make ends meet. Hugh Braden is a Grand Prix racer and though he's as hot as McDreamy, Brianna isn't about to be taken in by his pretty face. Only, well, she is even though she doesn't want a relationship because she doesn't want to cause problems for her young daughter.

I loved these two so much. Hugh and Brianna are definitely my favorite Braden couple. I especially loved Layla's name for Hugh, "The handsome prince."

Hugh really is a fairy tale hero in this story. He's got that "too good to be true" vibe going on. That's not a bad thing here. It fits. He's perfect. That's why it makes the conflict so good, because Brianna is so cautious. Too cautious to be honest. She'll make you want to wallop her a few times, when she starts overthinking things. Again, that's what makes her character so real and relate-able.

Bree also has a fabulous support system in her friend Kat, her mom and her boss, Mack. All of them care deeply for her.

This book is a little more of a slower burn than Addison's other books. I also love that Bree and Hugh weren't a second chance couple. It was full of "feels" on Bree's side of the story too. Expect a lot of "Awwww." moments.

This book was in a word. PERFECT! (And definitely one of Addison's best)

This is such a fun, loving story! Hugh is a fast-moving racecar driver who has never had a serious relationship, and Brianna is a single mother who works two jobs and has vowed not to date until her daughter is an adult. Hugh is interested and intrigued by Brianna, and no matter how strong her beliefs in not dating, soon Brianna agrees to go out with Hugh.

But can their lifestyles ever merge? Brianna is extremely money conscious and Hugh loves to spoil her and her daughter Layla. Brianna wants a settled life, and Hugh's career means he moves around constantly for most of the year. Plus there is the tabloids, media attention, and even the attention from parents at Layla's school. All of which make Brianna want to run in the opposite direction, yet she is continually drawn back because Hugh is such a wonderfully loving man, who treats her and Layla with tenderness and care.

This is a beautiful, lovely story, with three main characters who are fun to get to know. While this book can be read as a standalone novel, you'll enjoy getting to know the other family and friends that you read about by reading the rest of the series.

I have volunteered to share my review and all the opinions are 100% my own.

I have become a real fan of Addison Cole's Sweet with Heat series. They are not quite as racy as Melissa Foster's counterparts. I can recommend them to some of my church friends without worry what they will think of what I read.

And Then There Was Us is no exception. I have always wondered how Hugh Braden was going to meet his perfect match. All of the Braden children have but Hugh, until this book. And, the meeting in this could not have been better anticipated. Hugh heads out on a blind date that could not go more wrong. I think one of the best parts of the book is him telling his friend that this one was beyond horrible and no more. But the date is not a true loss as the bartender catches his eye but doesn't give him the time of day.

Brianna is working hard to support herself and her six year old daughter. She has decided it is easier to not date than to have strange men meeting the little one. Then, Hugh crashes into her life.

Some would call it fate. Some would say kismet. I say it is perfect. The two of them - Hugh and Brianna - could not be more different. They make a perfect couple.

Pick up a copy of And Then There Was Us and see what you think of the two of them. I have volunteered to share my review and all the opinions are 100% my own.

The weather is changing and it’s a perfect time to curl up with a soft blanket, a hot cup of coffee, and a great book! I got just the book too. Addison Cole has a new book out called And Then There was Is. it is amazing and perfect love story for the downtime or me-time this season.

This story follows Brianna and Hugh. Brianna is a struggling single mom to a cute little girl. Brianna can never catch a break. She went to college and had a dream to be a photographer but got pregnant and the guy ditched her so she finished college and went home to take care of her daughter. She works two jobs and still struggles to make ends meet. She swore off guys until her daughter is 18 but will fate have a different plan?

Hugh loves life a quarter-mile at a time. Live big and fast or you’re not living at all. He is a famous race car driver and women are a dime a dozen but he wants more. He wants what his father and siblings have. Will he ever find someone that will love him for him, not his fame?

This story has you rooting for them from the beginning until the end. It’s a sweet, feel-good love story. I loved it and definitely recommend it! If you love happy ending romance stories then this book is for you! Get it today!

Another strong, sweet, and slightly sexy novel from Addison Cole. And Then There Was Us is the sixth novel in the sweet with heat Weston Bradens series and a must-read for sweet romance lovers.

This is Brianna and Hugh’s story and it was just as enticing and captivating as Addison Cole’s other novels in the series. Filled with strong independent characters that find love when they weren’t looking for it, this book inspires hope. You can’t pick the circumstances in which or with whom you fall in love but it certainly makes life interesting when two people come together that never imagined that their future would include one another.

Over time people grow into their adulthood and in doing so, their perspective changes. One of life’s greatest joys is to love and be loved and to experience a forever love. Denying yourself love will only get you so far in life and allowing yourself to embrace that love can change your life in ways you never thought possible.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and highly recommend it to all who love sweet romances (where sexy scenes end at the bedroom door). While you’re at it, check out the whole series!

This is one of my favorite books in the Sweet with Heat stories. I loved it. I really felt as though Hugh and Brianna could feel the connection right away, because sometimes you just *know*. I loved how protective Brianna felt for Layla as well, but Hugh showed her what a good man is and how he treats them both is very swoon worthy. Brianna had a few issues to get over, but when a situation came up and Hugh proved himself to her she was able to deal with them, as well as see what kind of man he is. They both showed a lot of growth in a short time, especially from what we had seen of Hugh in the previous Braden books. I absolutely loved the ending, it was great to see the whole family together, and to get a peek at the Remingtons.

And Then There Was Us is a nice, adorable read. The characters have a great connection.

Brianna Heart is a loving, protective mother. She's used to being cautious and planning ahead.

Hugh Braden is a caring, handsome man who is used to getting what he wants. He's not used to having to take things slow.

Even with their different personalities, they have strong family values. Their connection is instant. The story is warm-hearted and shows emotions well. There's plenty of ups and downs with the main characters having such different lifestyles, yet they make it work.

The story is well worth the read. Makes me want to read the steamy romance version.

I received this story through an advance reader's copy. I volunteered to leave my review. All opinions are my own.

This sweet story hit home because I was Bree almost 14 years ago. Focused on my child and denying that I would be interested in a man again. Hugh is one of those men who proves her wrong. He comes from such a loving, caring family and when they're in -- they're ALL in! He steps up (resembling an older Braden I know!) and proves to be impossible to resist. Layla brings out a side of him that I don't think any of us were expecting -- it was incredibly sweet and made me swoon! Both Bree and Hugh have pasts that haunt them; but I think it helps bring them together on a deeper level. It also helps them to find a love beyond what they once were -- And Then There Was Us (Hugh & Bree!)

I have volunteered to share my review and all the opinions are 100% my own.

Hugh Braden has become my 2nd book boyfriend. Hugh meets and falls in love with single mom Brianna Heart. He instantly wants to protect her and her daughter and make their lives a little easier. Brianna has a 12 year plan which means she plans to stay single for 12 years till her daughter Layla turns 18. She does not want to risk men coming in and out of their lives confusing Layla. Brianna winds up falling for Hugh and Layla calls him Prince Hugh as she sees him as her moms prince charming.

This is such a sweet story. Hugh just makes your hear melt with how sweet he is with Brianna and Layla. He really thinks outside the box to make them feel special and important to him.

Ms. Cole has a way of giving you just what you want out of a love story. I felt that not only was this a beautiful love story for Hugh and Bree but a story of redemption in a way. Hugh wanted to redeem his love life and Bree need to learn it was okay to have a life for herself. I really enjoyed the dynamic between Hugh, Bree, and Layla. Hugh is just what we have come to expect from the men in Ms. Cole's world. I always enjoy getting to catch up with characters from past books, it's like catching up with old friends. I can't wait to see what Ms. Cole gives us next.

OMG Hugh the ultimate player is also the most romantic and sweetest guy ever!!!

The way he is with Brianna and Layla makes your heart melt.

Layla is the cutest little girl ever and you can see why The Bradens fall in love with her.

This is the last book of The Bradens, Weston Colorado but by no means the last you will hear of them.

I absolutely love the Sweet with Heat series and cannot wait for more!!!

And Then There Was Us is an absolutely brilliant sweet romance with just enough spice. Brianna is an amazing mom willing to do anything for her daughter - even swearing off men. Hugh is tired of shallow women and has just about given up finding someone who is interested in more than just his celebrity. When they first meet it's definitely love at first sight, but can Hugh convince Bree to take a chance on him? A love story you don't want to miss!

Oh my gosh Hugh the ultimate player has to be the most romantic as well. Brianna doesn’t stand a chance when Hugh focuses on her. Addison has such a way of writing she makes you think your right there involved in theses lives and by the time you get to the last page your depressed because you have to say goodbye!!

I was so geared up to read "And Then There Was Us" thinking, wow, this is about Hugh Braden, the race car driver of the Weston Braden family. It'll be great reading about the gorgeous women and fangirls who throw themselves at him. It'll be filled with drama and fast cars! Well I had to put on the brakes once I began reading. It wasn't at all what I thought. It was more than that, it was better than I could have imagined. It was a modern day fairytale with all that it entails! And I loved every bit of it. The story is about two people who find one another and they change the trajectory of each other's life.

We have our hero, Hugh Braden, a famous race car driver, as previously mentioned. Hugh is accustomed to living in the fast lane, professionally and personally. Then one night he goes into a local tavern to meet up with a blind date and spots Brianna Heart, a bartender/waitress. Brianna is a single mom with a soon to be six year old daughter, Layla. Her main goals are to be the best mom by providing for Layla and not getting involved with anyone until her daughter is much older. In 12 years!

Hugh is very smitten with Brianna and realizes that he won't be going back to his care free lifestyle. Although feeling the same about Hugh, Brianna holds back because of her concerns for Layla. However, once Layla meets Hugh, those worries melt away but they are soon replaced with her own insecurities. Brianna feels she won't be enough for Hugh and eventually he'd get bored and leave. This becomes a major issue between Hugh and Brianna. Hugh is devastated and is at a loss on how to show her that he is here to stay for her and Layla.

Will this fairytale have a happy ending? Will Brianna get her prince or will she need to kiss a few more toads until she meets the right one?

This is my honest review.

Once again, Addison Cole has made my heart about burst with romance and love! Hugh and Brianna’s story was just one big romantic whirlwind from beginning to end filled with some challenges and some humor. But overall, this book was about absolute, huge, insane amounts of love and emotion! I’m always left feeling all warm and fuzzy after reading about the Bradens, but this one prompted tears of joy more times than I would like to admit.

If you are a fan of sweet, genuine, sexy men that treat a woman’s child as well as he treats her – then you will love this one.

My only issue with And Then There Was Us, and it’s a small one, was Brianna herself. I get that she was afraid of getting involved with anyone because she wanted to raise and protect her daughter, but sometimes her back and forth made me crazy! Hugh went above and beyond to prove himself to Brianna and Layla, several times, but she would continue getting weirded out and sending him mixed signals. Luckily, and as predicted, this one had a wonderful HEA and everything worked out.

Although this is a family series, any reader who loves contemporary romance should grab And Then There is Us. The way that Addison Cole has crafter these novels, you can absolutely enjoy this or any of the other installments without having read them all. But I forewarn you that once you get started you will be addicted! Cole’s characters, unique plot lines, and amazing amounts of romance will leave you feeling as if you know this family personally and as if you were there in real-life watching these relationships happen and develop. I highly recommend this one and dare you to try and resist Hugh Braden’s charms!

Hugh Braden wasn't looking for love when he walked into the tavern that night. He wasn't looking, but he'd started to feel like he wanted to have the same kind of connection his father and mother had had, and that his siblings now had with their significant others. Besides, he was at the tavern to meet a blind date.
Brianna Heart is a single mother of a young daughter. Her history with men was not a positive one, starting with her father who'd walked out on the family when she was a young girl. She was doing her best to raise her daughter, working 2 jobs, and was determined to stick to her "plan". She wasn't going to get involved with a man until her daughter was ready to leave the nest. So, when she went to work at the tavern that day, finding a relationship was not anywhere in her mind.
These two people had an instant connection, and neither knew how to handle it. Hugh was an impatient kind of guy, used to having what he wanted when he wanted it. Brianna was careful to a fault, cautious, and overly protective of her daughter. But, they were meant to be.
Don't know what it is about these two, but I fell in love with them right away. Thoughtful, caring, handsome, and very much interested in family values, who wouldn't love to have a "Hugh" in their lives? Through the emotional ups and downs of trying to figure out how to deal with the sudden and unexpected love they'd found, I couldn't help but smile, laugh, sigh and even cry a little. I loved this couples' story.

This is the story of Hugh Braden and Brianna Heart. Hugh is the youngest of the Braden siblings and the last to find love. He meets Bri one night, while home between races, at the local bar where she happens to be working. Though their attraction to each other is instant, Brianna refuses to even consider doing anything about it because she is 6 years into her “18-year-plan”, which includes no dating/no men until her 6-year-old daughter, Layla, is 18 years old. As a single mom, with a not-so-great-opinion of men and relationships – she is set on not even considering getting involved with anyone until her daughter is grown up.
Hugh cannot stay away and returns to the bar and eventually convinces her to have coffee with him once her shift is complete. As the story unfolds, Hugh does everything he can to make Bri start to trust him and want to see him. He is immediately protective of her and wants to do everything he can to make her life as a single mom easier. It’s a wonderful story of love and trust and romance as well as letting go of their past while hoping to find a future. Can Bri put her ghosts behind her and trust Hugh with no only her heart but the heart of her daughter? Can Hugh get away from his past of a playboy racecar driver and make Bri see that she is the only one for him?
Will their pasts be too much to overcome or will they finally both learn to let go and let love in?

Probably the final installment of the Braden series from Addison Cole as all the siblings are now set up with the loves of their lives! (Sad but happy for me as a fan!)
The final brother to fall in love is racing driver Hugh who is set up on a disasterous blind date but instead meets Bree. Love and lust sparks between the pair but can a celebrity ever make it work with a single mum who works two jobs to make ends meet…?
As a single mum myself when I met my handsome prince (hi Chris!), I totally understood Bree’s perspective, her doubts and her fears. It is so easy to be so narrowly focussed on your children that you forget about yourself. Happiness of a parent is so essential for a happy childhood but Bree has put her life on hold to care for her daughter and take care of necessities.
Hugh’s character as a player has been a thread through the other Braden books but now he has realised there is more to life as he sees his siblings settling down. He is looking for love but only seems to attract women interested in his fame. Bree is different and likes him as a man, whereas he sees her as a woman as well as a mum.
And Then There Was Us is a warm and uplifting book about love conquering obstacles. There is also the chance to catch up with the other Bradens who we have got to know so well over the five previous books.
The ending was a little cheesy but it did bring tears to my eyes.

With witty, loveable characters author Addison Cole will have you dreaming of your own Mr. Perfect!

With a twelve year plan that will take Brianna through her daughter's eighteenth birthday she isn't looking for a relationship. She has learned that men leave so trusting them doesn't come easy. Besides, a six year old and two jobs leaves no time for a man anyway.

Hugh Braden is going to kill his crew chief. After the blind date from hell all Hugh wants is a few minutes to talk to the waitress he can't get off his mind. So he keeps returning and is finally able to convince the shy Brianna to have coffee after work which leads to nice conversation and getting to know each other a little more. But with Hugh's dangerous career that has him traveling nine months out of the year a permanent relationship would be difficult on any woman.

Brianna can't deny the feelings she has for Hugh, and the fact that Hugh and her daughter hit it off so quickly only makes her decision more difficult. But she must consider the long term effects of a relationship with a race car driver who travels so much and has women throwing themselves at him in every city.

Will Brianna be able to put her past distrust of men aside and accept the love Hugh is so willingly ready to give?

“All I can tell you is that when fate steps in, you have no choice. You do whatever it takes to follow it.”
She has a plan to stay single; he has a plan to make her his. Hugh Braden is sexy, famous and he loves his fast paced life, but he’s starting to get tired of being surrounded by fake people. He his numb towards the ones attracted only by his good looks and money until he meets a certain barmaid that is clueless about who he is. Hugh is starting to realize that there is so much more then living the way he did; he starting to understand what is really important. Bree is a hard working single mom and she has a plan of staying away from men and concentrate on the only important precious thing; her daughter. But one night, this sweet handsome nice and oh so sexy stranger shows up out of nowhere. Loved how Hugh is treating Bree and how he’s trying to seduce her into letting go a little, to start living her life and be a fully happy and satisfied woman; not only a mother. I could feel the struggle she goes thru; should she just jump in and date Hugh or just hang to her previous plans. The Bradens are loyal, very family oriented and always there for each other not matter what. Once again I was happy to get a glimpse of what’s happening with each and every one of them. The support of amazing friends and a family is all it takes to make it.

Loved it! Who hasn’t dreamed of having that fairy tale romance? The prince is no other then the famous race car driver Hugh Braden. He life revolves around travel, working hard and playing harder. Lately he sees how happy his siblings are with their families and their lives and can’t shake the feeling that he is missing out on what really matters - love. No one has peaked his interest. Usually the women he meets are all about what he is not who he is. That all changes the night he goes on horrible blind date set up by a friend. While at the bar his eye catches sight of a waitress with intriguing eyes.
Brianna Hart is a single mom to her 6 year old daughter, Layla. Brianna has a 12 year plan – work hard, provide for her daughter and in 12 years then maybe she can allow herself get involved with someone. Brianna works 50 hours or more a week between all her jobs. Everything was fine until the day Hugh Braden walked into her life.
Braden wants nothing more then to give Brianna and Layla the life they deserve. The problem is their schedules. Brianna works 50 hours a week or more and needs time with her daughter. He is a road warrior who racing 10 months of the year. How can they possibly make this work, will their love be strong enough…

I received an ARC, this review is based on my honest opinion. I loved it.

Sigh, another wonderful Braden to swoon over. Hugh Braden lives a fast life with his racing, his model girlfriends, and his never-ending traveling. As the rest of his siblings start finding love and settling down, he realizes that the life he never thought he wanted doesn't sound so bad. Little did he realize that settling down included a sweet Brianna and her adorable little girl.

I love how much respect Hugh shows to Brianna and Layla. He understands why he can't just jump into their life, he has to step back and let Brianna have most of the control since it is her daughter but he doesn't let her have all the control. He still charms her, romances her, and makes her fall in love with him all while learning how to open his heart and let her win his heart.

Layla is the true princess of the story. She has the innocence of a child and no one wants to take that away from her. I love how the entire family and friends realize how important she is. They love her entirely, they give her all she needs and many of her wants, they teach her manners, and they expect her to respect others. I like that they teach her real life and let her learn lessons as they come up but they don't expect her to be a grown-up. While I love Brianna and Hugh, Layla is one of my favorites in this story.
