About the This book is based on the popular text “Digital Circuits (Vol-1)” by the same author. Each chapter of this book deals with numerous problems based on the material covered in the text. The author could gauge the need for a separate book on problems since a large number of problems could not be included in the text. Each problem has been solved meticulously, and for some problems a detailed explanation has also been provided in the form of a note so that the students can understand the theory required to solve the problems. About the Diptiman Ray Chaudhuri, Professor, Department of Electronic Science, University of Calcutta obtained his B.Sc.(Hons) in Physics from St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata in the year 1969; B.Tech. and M.Tech. degrees from the Institute of Radio Physics and Electronics, University of Calcutta in the year 1972 and 1974 respectively. He was awarded the Ph.D (Tech.) degree from the University of Calcutta in the year 1980. He joined the Institute of Radio Physics and Electronics, University of Calcutta as a Lecturer in the same year. He has been instrumental in setting up the Department of Electronic Science, University of Calcutta and is one of the founder members of the said Department.
