Constance Barker lives in the Midwest with her husband and two Akitas where she can look out from her screened porch onto a wooded area brimming with activity. I'll see you in my dreams

Another one that although entertaining felt a bit weak on the plot. Yes the interaction between the characters was good but the actual mystery part felt half baked. A book signing and getting a new pet for the resident vampire lead to being on hand when a man falls down dead in the reception of the animal rescue. The death appears to have been caused by two puncture wounds to his neck. Is there a rogue vampire in town? Then there's all the strange dreams everyone seems to be having. Can she find the connection and the killer's role revealed? Plus she finds out that her very human deputy is well aware of the supernatural events that she has been trying so hard to hide. Where will this take them too?

Nancy Ann Szymanski, who prefers to be called Nann, with a pencil clutched tightly in her teeth, was trying to type out a Press Release for the paper using her new computer. It wasn’t going very well… and why did she have a pencil when she had no paper to write on? She told Zinnia that she had booked her first author event with Nick O’Broin coming to sign his new book. Even Zinnia bought a copy to get signed when she saw how good-looking Nick was!

Tink and Nann drove to the animal shelter so Nann could get a cat for Marquise Charlotte, a vampire, who needed to keep mice out of her antique gowns and wigs. While Nann filled out the paperwork for the cat, a door opened and a dead man fell out! The shelter employees knew him well and identified him as Arthur Perkins. Odd thing, though – there were two holes in his neck! Vampires perhaps?

Another strange event is that people around town have begun to experience odd dreams that seem very real. Based on those dreams, Zinnia and Tink believe Nann is out to steal their boyfriends! Her familiar, Pokey the pig, thinks Nann is trying to put him on a diet by excluding his Little Debbie Zebra snacks! And everyone is feeling a bit hostile! Are the bad dreams and the dead man somehow tied to the author Nann signed up, Nick O'Broin, who will be at Nann's bookstore for the book signing? With everybody acting so oddly, Nann is going to have to figure this out fast!

This is another cute mystery in this series. I love the quirky characters in the town and we are getting to know them all so much better. The story line is intriguing and moves along at a brisk pace as Nann follows the clues. Grab your copy and enjoy!

Nann has invited a celebrity author to have a book signing at her bookstore. He turns out to be quite handsome and very mysterious. When the folks of Calamity Corners along with Nann’s pals Zinnia and Tink start having mysterious dreams, things start turning nasty and Nann feels the new arrival to town might have something to do with it. Does he have something to do with the strange murder at the local animal rescue? And what about the odd dreams/nightmares the townsfolks are having? The same type of dreams that Zinnia and Tink are having about Nann trying to steal their boyfriends. Can she solve the mystery before another murder happens and she loses her friends?

This is a mixture of cozy and paranormal mystery wrapped into one package. With lots of odd characters, strange and mysterious events, and a great mix of mystery and intrigue, this is another great book in the Calamity Corners Witch cozy series.

Wow! Another great addition to the Calamity Corners series! Nann, our favorite Druid witch. is right in the middle of strange and unbelievable when she witnesses a man fall out of a closet dead at an animal adoption event. She notices two holes in his neck...vampires? Meanwhile people all over town are having vivid dreams that are causing all manner of violence to break out in Calamity Corners and other nearby towns. Somehow it is all connected to an author, Nick O'Brian, who is coming to Nann's bookstore for a book signing. With everyone acting strangely, it is up to Nann to figure it all out. No disappointment there! With steely determination backed by the fertile imagination and good characters of author Constance Barker, what follows is a fabulous story that had me racing to the end to figure it all out. Don't miss this latest book in the series! And if you jut stumbled across this series, be sure to read all the books, starting at the beginning. You'll be glad you did!😁

Nann the Druid is faced with a new weirdness this time - not the hunky Nick O’Goin, although he is indeed a mystery.

Local residents seem to be having vivid dreams - and these vivid dreams are inciting violence.

So what thrives on darkness? On bad and worse dreams? How does one fight it/ them?

Nann is without the help of her friends and with only limited help from Pokey - even her pig familiar is having bad dreams and growing irritable.

With trusty Cricket the Jeep, Nann is in search of the source of the threat and in desperate danger. Perhaps Deputy Keith is not an Other, but if he really does have a clue about the talking pig, maybe the two can finally talk turkey - and date!

A freakishly odd and interesting KU read!

I got an advance copy from Booksprout. I have read most of the books in this and other series from this author on Kindle and Kindle Unlimited.

Marquis Charlotte the vampire is adamant that there isn't another vampire in town, so who killed Arthur Perkins? Whose corpse has 2 puncture holes in the neck? And who is the new hottie in town? The author Professor Nick O'Broin who was dishy enough to make Zinnia drool and Sheriff Kevin Schwenk jealous? And why does everyone seem to have bad dreams all of a sudden?

Lovely to visit with Nann and her friends (or not-friends !!) for another fun and puzzling mystery. I thoroughly enjoy this series. Barker spins a good tale, with bits that make you smile, like Pokey, Nann's familiar pig and enough to make you think but still not guess whodunnit. Looking forward to more from Nann and friends.

Do you dream? Are they pleasant or scary? Every one appears to be having issues with their dreams. They know that they cannot be true but they keep happening and affecting their lives.

Who is Nick and what is his story? What is he? A Prete (love that term)? He comes from some where else. Crossover from another series by this author. READ THAT ONE TOO!!!!

Real quick fast read. I did it in a couple of hours.

Not sure what title has to do with story. If you know please let me know.

I want to know how this author who lives in another state, has my neck of the woods so clear as if she had lived in this area.

This is my honest and freely given review. I did receive an ARC book.

Nann Szymanski, the owner of the Greenpoint Books is getting ready to welcome gusest author Nicholis O'Broin (from the triplet witch series) to her book store for a book signing. While she is preparing for Nick, s series of events take place to slow her down. A man falls dead out of a closet at an animal adoption at the shelter. Than everyone in town starts having dreams about others in town. Tink and Zinnia are mad at Nann because their guys are dreaming about her and pokey the pig is mad at her because he dreamt that Nann was putting him on a diet. No more Little Debbie cakes. Now she has to find out who killed the shelter guy and why everyone is having these dreams that feel so real. I was given a copy of the book by the author for an honest review.

I like this series, it is a bit different to the usual witch cosy mystery genre as Nann is a druid and not a witch, so has different talents. There are also some other great characters., including Cricket, her car (yes her car is a character!).
The story starts with the death of a man at an animal rescue centre and continues with strange things happening which seem to be connected to a plague of dreams.
There are plenty of twists and turns to the story and even a visitor from another dimension to keep the interest going.
A very enjoyable read.

I don't remember reading a crossover book before, so this was a lot of fun. If you haven't read any of the Triple Witch Series books don't worry, it will still all make sense and maybe entice you to pick one up. I recommend you do.

What I like about these books is that Nann starts with unrelated events, problems, or situations and realizes along the way that they are in fact related and each adds a piece to the final puzzle. And then there's Pokey, who is always a hoot.

Nann, that’s with 2 n’s, goes to adopt a cat for the vampire living above her store, when a man collapses dead. Right there, at the shelter, during an adoption event. Then the dreams start. Then they turn into nightmares. Then the fighting begins. What is going on?! Even Pokey is getting them! How will it all end? Will it keep spreading? And what about the dreamy author coming for a book signing? Does he have anything to do with it? Buy the book for the answers! It’s really good!

So a nightmare really does affect how you behave? I thought it was only me who made my husband apologize when I dreamed he did something wrong. Haha. This is such a great series and this book is definitely my favorite! I love the characters and the story is so well-written! I am looking forward to more stories in this series.

A Witch Axe To Grind has the citizens of Calamity Corners acting mighty strange. It takes Nann to figure out what's wrong with everyone and how to fix it. Nann seems to have the weight of not just the town, but the county on her shoulders. I love the characters in this series and how and how they are evolving in their relationships within themselves and each other.

Nightmares Coming True
This is a great episode in the series. This may be the best one yet. The plot is really good and makes the reader think. One reason that I enjoy this series so much is that the characters must work to make things happen, not just throw magic around. I received this ARC book for free from Booksprouts and this is my honest review.
