Excellent series! Another spectacular series in Andy Peloquin’s well developed world of Einan. Exceptional characters, non-stop action, twists & plots within plots, and lots of tie-in’s to previous stories. I can’t recommend this series enough!
Trial of Stone, Book 1
Awesome! Loved it! This story is set in the world of the Queen of Thieves and Hero of Darkness series. It follows several young characters we met in those series plus a young girl trying to become a Keeper’s Blade. Great action and intrigue as the stage is set for, by all appearances, another excellent series.
Crucible of Fortune, Book 2
Wow! Even better than the first one! Don’t plan on getting any sleep once you start reading! Can’t wait to start the next one!
Storm of Chaos, Book 3
Outstanding! Fast paced, non-stop action! Every time something appears to be going right, look out for that monkey wrench! Loved it!
Secrets of Blood, Book 4
Excellent! Another non-stop action, edge of your seat, I can’t put this book down adventure! The characters are developing and tearing at our heartstrings while the plots within plots are emerging. I absolutely can not wait for the final book!
Ascension of Death, Book 5
Awesome! Absolutely amazing conclusion to a fabulous series! The action, the twists, the tie-ins to other series, the doing-of-the-impossibles, the gut wrenching & heartwarming actions of beloved characters, will leave you breathless, have you exclaim “didn’t see that one coming,” and make you weep in sorrow & yell with joy. Woe to anyone who interrupts your reading! Loved this story and can’t wait to read more about these characters and the story of Einan in future books! Spectacular!
The Renegade Apprentice, Book 6
Great! The story of Evren’s origin and how he ended up on the street in Vothmot where, in Dark Blade Slayer (Hero of Darkness, Book 5), he steals the Hunter of Voramis’ purse. Read it before or after HOD #5 and the Heirs of Destiny series (which happens after HOD #5.) I love getting the answers to how characters I care about became who they are!

outstanding hold and prequel story about Even
It was a great read to find out what happened to Kirby, Aisha, Evren and Hailen in Shalandra since I read the Darkblade books first which alluded to these events in Shalandra. Plus, it was enlightening to find out more details of Evren’s past before he picked the Hunter’s pocket. I look forward to more stories of all these characters.

I absolutely love this story although I wanted the HUNTER to feature more. So I can see his relationship with a little older Hailen.

Another great series
It’s a long journey, but what a tale. I think I’ve now read his entire works. Thoroughly enjoyed the last few months of reading.

Could not put it down
The characters are strong and you just can't get enough of there stories. I couldn't any way. I want more. There is plenty of good stories left. And Mr. Peloquin, I am looking forward to seeing what tails you weave. Can't wait.
