A must read for every outdoorsman/woman. A look at the man and how his passion for the outdoors turned into a multimillion dollar company. The many trials and tribulations of the man and company. A good look at Eddie's contribution to the war effort of WWII and how it almost bankrupt the fledgling company and how it recovered.

This book tells the story of Eddie Bauer, the Seattlite who established his own outdoor gear store that is now a very large company. As far as biographies about clothing store owners I suppose this was pretty good. I worked at an Eddie Bauer store and read this on my breaks but I don't think I would really recommend it to anyone unless they are working there or are a really big fan of the store.
