When Samantha Ryan receives a call from her mother, asking her to come home and run the family business--a real live Nevada brothel--she's not thrilled about it, but she reluctantly agrees.  While out on the town the night before she takes over her duties, Samantha seizes the moment when she meets the sexy Chase Hanson. 

Chase had his eye on the beautiful brunette all night and when she asks to go home with him, he jumps at the chance. After a night of the most mind-blowing sex of his life, they part with Samantha saying she'll call.  Meanwhile, he's still forced to fulfill a prior obligation and heads out of town to a brothel to celebrate his buddy's bachelor party. Imagine his surprise when he finds Samantha working at a brothel…

About the author

As far back as I can remember, I've had a love affair with books. I loved to live vicariously through each character, and dreamed of the day when I'd write my own books. I loved to write and make up stories, a talent which was both loved and hated by many of my English teachers. As I got older, I had teachers encourage me to write, but they admonished me to ‘stop writing the weird stuff and tone down the sarcasm!' But what fun is that?

However, my other love was music, and playing clarinet and saxophone ended up paying my way through college by way of a scholarship. As is often the case, life happened and I didn't get back to writing until 2003, when my husband and son encouraged me to ‘stop talking about it, and go do it!' So, I joined my local Romance Writers of America chapter and poured myself into learning everything I could about writing and publishing, and both the business and creative side of being a writer.

I worked hard, and in ten months wrote INTO A DANGEROUS MIND, and set about the business of submitting and entering contests while I moved on to writing STONE MAIDEN. I entered dozens of contests and rewrote and revised that book several dozen times. I also received tons of great rejections from both agents and editors. Yes - you read right - GREAT rejections. Most of them saying, "we really liked your story, but it has the following weaknesses..." With every one, I refined and rewrote and learned everything I could. Then in October 2004, I received the fateful ‘call.' Okay, it was an email, but thus began one of the best chapters in my life. Since then, I've hit the ground running and never looked back. I also write under the pen name Cassie Ryan.

I currently live in sunny Arizona with my two favorite men--my husband and my son--and our two cats.

“Take It Off” is sizzling hot from the very beginning. Apparently because this is a very short novella, everything moves at lightning speed. There’s not much time for character development although you do get a little background on Samantha’s character. Both she and Chase are likable and it’s easy to see them together. This is a new-to-me author whose creative and imaginative storyline I really enjoyed. It’s a fast and fun book to read for those who enjoy lots of steamy romance.

Feels like doing quickie you know [image error] ...reading the short story like this...
But its obvious that its only sex between the two H/h... [image error]

They met in a club where Samantha had just got bad news from her mother...and she felt a little bit frustration to hear that..and he met this guy...and wanted to release her sadness with sex...sex...and sex... [image error]

Just like that, they met...and Samantha told Chase that she wanted him to get "very deep inside her"...oh my... girl...you CHEAP ! [image error]

The sex was steamy enough...but still I don't like Samantha's character...see...you met this guy at the club, said hello..and the next second you asked him to f**ked you? [image error]

Too short for the story...but just like quickie sex...it's still yummy...even in a rush hour hahahahha [image error]

I didn't really know what I was getting into when I started this book. I got caught up in it as soon a I read the first chapter! The cover hooked me, the book itself is an addiction! I couldn't put it down. I got it for free on Amaazon and after I read a few chapters, I put Tina Gerow on my must read author list! Quite a few twists and turns, just like anything in real life. I'll definetly read this again!

Let us begin with the cover - I find it objctifying and unrelated to the story at hand.

The title - provocative, but again entirely unrelated to the story at hand.

The story - the non-smut scenes are obvious tripe written to string together the smut scenes with some semblance of plot, and the smut is cliched and uninteresting.

An overall disappointment.

This was cute. A freebie from Amazon. This was sweet, but just that, sweet. The sex was a bit steamy, too. I enjoyed it, there just wasn't that extra "oompf" to make me really like it. Plus, the "resolution" with her mom seemed trite and quick. I did like how Chase got back into Samantha's good graces finally. :-)

What Fun! This erotic quickie is filled with the author's sense of humour, steamy love scenes and a snappy dialogue. The part where Sam teaches Chase a little lesson is just priceless! I will definitely be reading more of Ms. Gerow's. Highly Recommended!
