Jennifer Adams, best friend to Jacque Pierce and Sally Morgan, spicy, out spoken, a little crazy and human...or so she thought. Jen has just found out that human DNA is not the only thing that resides in her veins, she happens to share that little pesky werewolf gene, although it isn't more than just a drop. Now that she and her friends are living in Romania with Fane's pack, she is also oh so conveniently stuck with the object of her affection, the fur ball Decebel. Drawn to each other by something they don't understand Jen finds herself frustrated by the lack of mating signs between her and said fur ball. Not only is she dealing with that not so un-frustrating problem, she now has been informed that because of that little drop of werewolf blood in her she is now required to attended a multi-pack gathering for un-mated wolves. This type of gathering hasn't taken place in over a century but with a shortage of females among the werewolf population the males are getting worried they won't ever find their true mates. Meanwhile Decebel struggles with the emotions he is feeling towards Jen. He tries to keep his distance but there is just something about the mouthy blonde that keeps him coming back for more of her verbal abuse that he just can't seem to get enough of...go figure.
Hello, Readers. My name is Quinn Loftis and I am lucky enough to call myself a novelist. In 2011, I self-published my first novel, Prince of Wolves with no expectations, other than my friends and family might purchase the book out of pity. Now, several years later, with 30+ novels and counting under my belt, Prince of Wolves had been downloaded over 1 million times. Though I was hesitant at the time to submit my work to the world for their scrutiny, I'm so glad I did. It made my dream of making a living by telling stories a reality.
I'm blessed to share my household my wonderful husband of more than twenty years (who also co-writes with me on occasion), three beautiful sons, a French Bulldog, and an oversized tabby cat. I love hearing from readers, so if you have any questions about the books or my journey, don't hesitate to hit the 'Contact Quinn' in the menu above. Thank you so much for taking a chance on my books.
I truly can’t say enough about this book/series, it’s amazing. It’s so full of passion, carefully weaved plots, true love, friendship’s that are full of love, trust and respect. I can’t get enough of these books, the stories intrigue me, the relationships so full of love and absolutely beautiful, as are the nice big hunky male werewolves and the women that love them. I highly recommend this series. It’s full of passion, however not sex, nor a ton of swearing. In my opinion these books are fine for teenagers. So far anyways.
SHE HAS DONE IT AGAIN!!! Quinn Loftis is an incredible and talented author that has had me captivated by The Grey Wolves series from the start. I have had the pleasure of befriending many wonderful people as a book blogger, but Quinn stands out from all the rest. She is an incredible and talented author and friend, but with each and every word written she continues to captivate and enthrall me at her abilities. This series take the traditional werewolf story, but adds the Quinn spice that will make is a five star read. Each and every single book has me hanging on every word; then leaves me hanging on the cliff of despair to await another book. With story that will make you laugh and cry, this emotional rollercoaster will leaving you begging for another ride. Over the past two books we have followed the trials and disasters for Jacque and Fane. They offer a innocent and deep seeded love that still leaves readers craving more. After the highlight and addition of the developing bonds between Jen and Decebel in book two I have been anxiously awaiting this next book to see just where the future will take these three crazy friends and a pack of dominant wolves. To be simply put this book completely overwhelmed me, and exceeded every expectation I had for the future of this series. Just One Drop continues to raise the bar for the series with its heart stopping and desperate love that will demand your undivided attention. Jen proves that although risky it is possible to play with fire, and come out on top. Their romance promises disaster, but it also shows dedication and loyalty that one could only dream of. While I love continuing the story of Jacque and Fane; I must admit I am mystified when it comes to Dec and Jen. I could comfortably say that this is one of my absolute favorite series. I recommend these books to everyone that I can, and will continue to follow this series with the dedication that her incredible stories demand.
JOD is centered mainly in the love story between Jen and Decebel. Both feel that they are each others mate but there are no signs of it, no markings in the skin no hearing each other thoughts. They have to attend The Gathering or as Jen calls the "Meat Fest" where they´ll interact with un-mated weres of other packs in hopes of finding their true mate. I´m really glad we finally get to know a bit more about Sally´s story, or at least the beginning of it ;)
Jen and Dec 100% right for each other. They have amazing scenes together and of course Jen drives him mad.
Another unforgettable book in this amazing series!!! I knew going into JoD that I was going to love it, because this is Jen and Dec's story and I absolutely adore these characters!!!! Jen had already earned herself top spot as the funniest and most memorable female character I've ever read, without a doubt, and Dec was just irresistible.
This time around, all is settled and well for Jacque and Fane, but Jen is miserable living in Romania while an absentee Decebel has taken leave for over two months. Unsure what her feelings for him mean, when Dec returns and there's still no sign that he's her mate, Jen is determined to not let it get her down. But when the alphas decide that it's in the best interest to bring back an old mating tradition, Jen and Dec are in for a major challenge. All unmated females and males are asked to gather so that more true mates may be found amongst the packs, and with no proof that Dec is her mate Jen must attend. With Dec's wolf claiming Jen and possessively protecting her from the other men, things are strained to the breaking point, making an unexpected attack on their pack the last thing anyone expected.
Loftis brought out the big guns with Jen in this book, making this always hysterical character shine even more than she already did. Jen is once again up to her old antics, doing anything in her power to drive Dec crazy and flirt with him relentlessly at the same time. I adore the banter and smoking hot chemistry between these two, maybe even more than I did with Fane and Jacque (who I absolutely loved!)! It was sad watching them have to deny their feelings because no mating signs ever showed up, and the moment I read about the gathering I was thinking "oh, good lord this can't be good!". I knew it spelled bad news for both of them, but what I wasn't expecting was how incredibly entertaining Jen would be throughout the whole event!! Oh, good lord this girl had me laughing to the point of tears (the cheering scene, oh my, I think I pulled a stomach muscle laughing so hard!!!)!!!! I just loved that Dec accepted her and loves her for who she is, nutty craziness and all. There was so much sexual tension and jealous angst between them, it had me glued to my iPad!
I loved that we got to see so much of our old favorites again; Jacque, Fane, Sally, and the rest of the pack were all present and accounted for, and they were just as unforgettable as they were in the previous books. We learned some exciting new things about Sally that will surely mean exciting things for her in the rest of the series, and it seems Loftis has some very interesting plans in the works!!
Thad, the underhanded antagonist in this book, made my skin crawl. I was so mad as he made his plans to take out the pack, it had my stomach in knots!! The climax came so late in the book that I was wondering if maybe his plans were just going to fall through, but the last 10% of the story non-stop suspense and heartbreak. I definitely wasn't expecting the MAJOR cliffhanger Loftis leaves us with, and I am so very grateful at this point that I was late to this series....because I don't have to wait to see what happens next!! =) Yep, on to Out of the Dark!!!
Just One Drop is outstanding. This series continues to WOW ME! QUE VIVA! Decnifer (Decebel and Jennifer) romance.
Quinn's continued success with her characters has the reader feeling their intense emotions. It is said that blood is thicker than water...but in Jennifer's case she doesn't need proof of anything to know the meaning of love and loyalty. Decebel would be lucky to have her as a mate, but feelings alone aren't enough, neither those steamy moments. Where are the mating signs? (you know, those hush hush_no_one should see the markings that match your mates and HEY! What about the mind bonding?).
Jealousy is roaming the place and there is a pack that wants to take down the Romanian Alpha which always go hand in hand with a backstabber. I think one of the coolest part of the book was learning more about sweet Sally. Fate truly brought these girls together!
I'm overjoyed with the fact that the Grey Wolves series will continue. Quinn Loftis is a wonderful writer whose imagination brings together action, romance and humor in this perfectly packaged series.
Quinn!!! What have you done to me? I waited for this book to be released for what seemed like forever and then my iphone reminds me its Feb 5th, just as I'm getting out of work. So I think "Yes. A relaxing night curled up on my couch reading one of my favorite series." NO! That's not what happened at all. Instead I stayed up all night until 5 in the morning because you have written this story so well I could't put it down. I was on my seat the whole time. I needed more Dec and Jen!!! And then I make it all the way to the end (which I was thorougly dissappointed because it ended) and you leave me with that cliff hanger? Sigh. Overall AMAZING! Everytime a new book in this series is released, it gets better and better. You are an amazing writer and definitely in my top two authors! And I've read a lot of books! Thank you for sharing with the rest of your fan another great read!!!! Oh.... P.S. Please tell me the next book won't take so long to be released.
Obliterated My Expectations! Just One Drop (JOD) is all it will take to sink this series' teeth into you. Possessive werewolves, witty teenagers, best friends, sweet sappy love story, vengeful pranks, overcoming obstacles, examples of healthy, mature relationships, loyalty, betrayal, intrigue, crazy cliff hanger - JOD has it all! Even if you start the series with this book, you'll love it because you don't have to read the first two to understand this one (you'll just want to read POW and BR after reading JOD).
Written in a fast paced style with slow, tender moments thrown in at the perfect time in addition to a great cast of characters, old and new, and splashes of various story lines that add interest and depth, JOD is a winner!! I love this series, and this book particularly, because I'm not a paranormal fan, but this book took the "eww" out and replaced it with "ahh", "yum" and "Nice!" I laughed, I cried, I sighed, got angry, smiled wickedly and even wished I had a wolf of my own. Quinn caught me up, dropped me off in the mansion in Romania and a piece of my heart is still there. There is some mention of biting, blood and death but in a so PG13 sort of way. I recommend this to all mature teens and older. It is a fantastic read written by an incredible author. Just one piece of advice: get your beauty sleep before you start because you will be up all night!
Just One Drop begins with Jen, a mouthy, smart, beautiful, just-turned-18 girl who found out that the teeny, tiny drop of werewolf blood she has in her genes might or might not change her life. There is finally hope that she can be with Dec, a very hot Beta werewolf, but he abandons her almost immediately. Dec carries baggage from the loss of a woman in the past, doesn't want to be anyone's protector again and has refused to assume his rightful position and power as an Alpha. Unsure of why he left, Jen decides to move on, but Dec convinces her to stay and she is forced to attend the aptly named "Mate Fest." Jen and Dec, both single wolves, are thrown at other single wolves again and again. Each struggles with seeing the other talking, touching, etc. with other wolves, but neither can do anything about it. Although Dec's wolf has claimed Jen, there are no outward signs of the "true mate." But that doesn't seem to matter as Dec loses control of his wolf time and again, and Jen becomes possessive of Dec as he interacts with other female wolves. When the final straw is broken, Dec is caged while Jen exacts revenge on those male wolves that caused Dec to crack. At the same time, there's a traitor in their midst seeking death and power. Jen's death is planned.
Will Jen and Dec become Mates? Is Jen even capable of having a Mate? Who is the traitor? Will Jen survive? What will happen to the pack? Read Just One Drop to find out!
Just One Drop starts out a few months after Blood Rites ended. But now, instead of getting Jacque and Fane's viewpoints, we get Jen and Decebel's. I won't go into the synopsis as it would ruin the great plot of this book. I warned my family ahead of time that with this book, being from Jen's viewpoint, there would be giggling, gasping and tears from the humor. Quinn Loftis is a comedy genius. Jen and Decebel throw out some phrases that will have the reader stop reading to finish laughing.
The humor aside, Quinn is also a master of romance, angst and a murderous plot. At some points I was blushing right along with the characters. Jen is a character so real in her actions and words. The plot is carried out beautifully and there is never a dull moment to be had. I find that we can really see the growth of Quinn as a writer in this book. It is a pleasure to see how far she's come. And the ending.....it will leave you breathless and wanting more.
Just One Drop is a spectacular addition to the Grey Wolves Series and left me yearning for the next installment.
Aaammmaaaziiiinngggg :)!!! Love Jen and Decebel more and more!!:). They are so cute I think I like them more then Fane and Jacque:) I called the accomplice at 30%! Not joking or lying lol. I think it was cause Crina was a more defined character then her and she just kinda hung back a lot. Loooved this book ;)
Quinn has done it again! Completely in love with Just One Drop.
As always, Jen's personality shines and we began to see a side of Dec that we all know we love and have been so desperate to see. The growth of their relationship has been a long time coming and man... was it ever hot!
I love the addition of the new characters and the history we see unveiled is incredible. As always, can't wait to see what happens in The Grey Wolves Series next.
I absolutely love that freaking character and I was so happy that I dove into my audio of Just One Drop. Okay so this book took me on an emotional roller coaster. Not that ugly crying kind of ride but I am seriously a hot mess after that ending. Like, HOLY SHIT guys.. that ending was cruel and I need someone to beat up now. Or a drink.
Jen and Decebel are slowly becoming my favorite couple. Heck, not slowly.. they basically are it now. I give zero fucks about anyone else in this series. Back to this ending, because I'm still salty and shook after Rachel's introduction.. like do I get revenge in the next book? 'Cause all of this "drama" with the other pack was kind of dumb.. and then Mariana (or however you spell her name!) needs to die. I NEED MY REVENGE DAMMIT.
Other than that, I'm seriously hooked on this series now. I'm so freaking glad that this book was a lot better than Blood Rites. Now I can't wait to dive into the fourth book of this series.
Quinn Loftis has outdone herself with Just One Drop. I have been enthralled with The Grey Wolves series and have been on the edge of my seat waiting for the next installment. Needles to say, Just One Drop left me breathless and desperate for more. Quinn is an outstanding author and has written this series with a new take on “werewolves” that is not seen in many novels and movies today, which I absolutely love. Every single page of Just One Drop leaves you hungry for the next. I simply could not put it down. I love Quinn’s creativity and the way she depicts the characters in the book, their personalities, the way they interact, and the way she portrays the whole werewolf concept, which is unique and so different from the traditional concept centered on the man who becomes the monster on the night of the full moon.
In Prince of Wolves and Blood Rites, the journey begins with Jacque, a normal teenage girl who finds out she is half werewolf, and her oh so “drool worthy” mate Fane, “swoon.” Quinn has written in such a way that enables the reader to climb aboard and experience the intense romance and deep love that Jacque and Fane have for one another, and the trials and tribulations they encounter because they are part of the werewolf world and its culture. We have come to know and love Jacque’s snarky best friends Jen and Sally. We have been introduced to Fane’s family and pack members, including Decebel, who is as Jen would say, “One fine Romanian Werewolf Hottie,” and the developing relationship between Jen and Decebel. Just One Drop continues where Blood Rites left off, with the girls now living in Romania with the Romanian wolf pack. Jen and Decebel’s bond continues to develop and is filled with extreme and desperate love, heartache, passion, humor, anger, and intensity beyond words. The book is action packed and filled with romance, as well as humor.
I have thoroughly enjoyed the story of these three best friends, where they have been, and I am exited to see what their future holds. I love the way Quinn has made you feel like you know and love all the characters in the book, and I cannot wait to see where Quinn takes us from here. You will swoon, you will cry, your heart will race in anticipation of what is going to happen next, you will laugh your head off, and you will fall in love with Just One Drop, and the entire Grey Wolves series. It just keeps getting better and better. I highly recommend this book, and the entire Grey Wolves series. Get them all. Quinn has become one of my favorite authors and the Grey Wolves series, is on the top of my favorites list. I guarantee you will not be disappointed.
Quinn, Quinn Quinn, Im not sure if I should buy you a hot fudge sundae with whipped cream and a cherry on top or put you in time out. "JUST ONE DROP" is AMAZING. The ending left me yelling," what the holy crap Quinn" how could you leave with me needing so much more. However, I also love being left out on a cliff waiting for what's up next. I am so impressed that book three is just as good if not better then the first one. This is hard to accomplish. I know first hand. I have had many let downs on other 3rd books in a series.
Okay so here goes my review. If you dont like humor (lot's of it), or hot, hot guy's, strong independent women, romance, love, family, devotion, honor, friendship, passion, this book is not for you.
I was a tiny bit worried that I would miss Fane and Jacquelyn in the spot light of this book. I am pleased to say that that is no longer a concern. The pack is all back, Vasile, Alina, Fane, Jacuelyn, Sally, Jen and Decebel. Quinn did not let me down at all.
Okay, so I know I am going to get crap from my sisters, but they would be happy to be mated and produce little baby "Fane" pups. While I have to agree with Jen and say that Decebel is YUMMY! So for me this book is my favorite of the three. I'll I needed more was a diet pepsi and popcorn, but I could not put down my kindle or move off my couch to get them, as I inhaled this book. Yes, this is the one and only time I have inhaled something. It was soooo worth it.
Quinn thank you for sharing your gift with me. We all have been given a talent, and with you I believe you where double blessed. Please keep them coming really fast. I am a patient women, but I have recently found out that patient is not my virtue in waiting for your books to release.
Well, Quinn has done it again. Another great installment of my new favorite series. I think Ms. Loftis gets better with each new book. You know when you read a book so good that you don't know what to read next because you're afraid it will pale horribly in comparison to the book you just read? Well, this book was that for me. I have no idea what to read now because this was so good. I thought I would pace myself and make this installment last longer than the other 2, but I didn't. I read it in one day and now I'm so sad. These books keep getting better and better. I didn't think I'd like another couple as much as Fane and Jacque, but it's very possible with this book. It's funny, sweet, sexy, action packed, I mean it's got everything. I promise you won't be disappointed, but then if you've read the rest of her books, you already know that! I do believe my only complaint is that I have to wait for the next installment!! Well done!
I am seriously addicted to this series!!! I absolutely LOVED this story line and the outcome!!! I cant wait for the release so that I can actually TALK about it with out giving anything away! Just know that if you liked Jen & Dec in Blood Rites, then you'll definitely LOVE them here! I love the passion that you experience. And of course, you still have Fane & Jacque... Decebel, Decebel, by far one of my favorite hunks!! Yes, I've become giddy over him!! Again, Quinn, you don't disappoint me!!! Like I mentioned to you, this book has become my favorite. Not one of my favorite, but "the" favorite book!!!
I really hope that you all enjoy it as much as I have!!!
Alright well, not bad. Again we have some dialogue issues - if the girls annoyed you in the first two books, they'll annoy you here too. But the storyline is pretty good - pacing could have been a bit better though. You're left with a significant cliffhanger at the end of this one - it looks like Jen and Dec's story will need at least one more book to come together; not surprising considering Fane and Jacque had two. Sally, as expected, is being set up for her own story; so I would imagine the series has at least three more books. I'll continue reading the series, but it will never be one of my favorites.
This book was really good, and a lot longer than you think it is. I have loved every book in this series and can't wait for the next one. This book ended with a real cliffhanger, so OH MAN! New surprises come in this book, and the romance was sweet. Loved it.
As many of you know, I freaking love The Grey Wolves Series. I mean, I found myself ranting and raving about this series at a bar last night. If that doesn't scream uber nerd, I don't know what does. Anyways, when my friend told me that the third installment of this series focuses on Jen and Decebel's frustrating yet smokin hot relationship, I basically did this:
because Jen is my favorite character and Decebel is tall, dark, and moody as hell. Just One Drop begins pretty much where the last book left off. The girls are living with the pack in Romania and are causing as little trouble as possible (yeah right). The Alphas of different packs had decided to being back an old tradition called The Gathering where unmated males and females come together in hopes of finding their mate. This would be all fine and dandy if it weren't for the fact that Decebel's wolf has claimed Jen as his mate but they have yet to show the actual signs. This is a dangerous situation for everyone because if any male so much as looks at Jen, Decebel unleashes a wrath like none other. All of this frustration (sexual or otherwise) mixed with some funny cheers, strip poker, and an attempt on an Alpha's life make for an entertaining story.
Good - This series makes me fangirl. Seriously. I love that it does not really focus on one character and it jumps around. I like that we are able to get to know the different members of the pack. - I liked that this story didn't stay focused on Jacque and Fane. Don't get me wrong. I adoooore Fane and Jacque's love story but I didn't want it to go downhill with a bunch of unnecessary drama. - Decebel is so swoon worthy. Who doesn't like a sexy piece of man (erm.. wolf?) meat who can kick anyone's ass at the drop of a dime? And come on.. his love for his sister? A-freaking-dorable. - I loved the other members of the pack! Well, not all of them but that's another story.
Bad - I can't think of anything that I would put on my Bad list except THE GODFORSAKEN ENDING!!!! Right after I finished this book, I picked up my phone and texted my friend and proceeded to flip the eff out. How can a book just end like that?!?! What kind of awful mind torture is this, Quinn Loftis?!
Needless to say, I give this book 5 fantabulous stars because this series has my heart. I love the characters, I love the stories, and I love the humor. Now, please excuse me as I go freak out a little more about the ending. I have to mentally prepare myself before I can even start the next one..
I need a moment because…I’M SO FREAKING IN LOVE WITH THIS SERIES I CAN’T EVEN BREATHE. *hyperventilating* Alright it’s official, this is my favorite werewolf series EVER. Seriously. I could not devour these words fast enough. The awesomeness continues in Just One Drop and let me tell you, it does not disappoint.
I loved this book for many reasons but I especially loved it because it follows one of my absolute favorite characters. I have loved Jen from the beginning. She finds out she’s not just your average crazy teenage girl because she has a small amount of Canis Lupis in her blood. Which makes all that intensely hot sexual tension between her and Decebel (good gracious, hold me down) even more interesting.
Jen and Sally move to Romania with Jacque, Fane, and the rest of the pack members. While adjusting to their new environment, an old tradition is brought back in which un-mated wolves are required to attend to see if they can find their true mate. Talk about ultimate speed dating. (Sign me up!) Since female Canis Lupis are rare, the odds are definitely in their favor. The same cannot be said of Jen and Decebel however. While they continue to provoke and anger each other, they share an obvious attraction and desire (get your fan ready because it’s hot). Unfortunately there have been no signs that they are true mates, which means that since they are both un-mated they have to mingle with the others. Simple, right? Ha!
Just One Drop has passion, jealousy, action, betrayal, and above all else romance. I’m talking hold-me-close-and-never-let-me-go-my-toes-are-curling kind of romance. Whew! It’s good. Is it strange that I want a guy to call me Mina now? I think that is SO SEXY.
Quinn Loftis has a gift for creating loveable characters and a paranormal world that feels like it could be real. I will be counting down the days till I can get my greedy little hands on Out of the Dark because that ending just about did me in. (I was shrieking and squirming like nobody’s business.) READ THIS SERIES. FOR REAL.
Just One Drop is the third in The Grey Wolves series. I can not put into words how much I ADORE these books and Just One Drop has rushed to the top of my favorite book of the moment list.
We found out at the end of Blood Rites the sassy Jen isn't just a regular old human like we thought, she has the slightest hint of Canis Lupis DNA. This would explain her SIZZLING attraction to the brooding Decebel but no mating signs. Of course things can't go as planned for our favorite trio, their HEA has to be complicated. The Alphas decide to throw an ancient past time called The Gathering in an effort to find mated pairs. Throw in an assassination attempt, sexual tension and some good ole fashioned smart alec comments from our American trio and it makes for an amazing book.
The Good - Decebel Can we talk about how much I adore this wolf? Because I do. He is brooding, hot, sensitive at times and just an all around BAMF. - Jen's sense of humor and smart a** comments. I'm not going to lie, during Prince of Wolves I found their banter un realistic but it's grown on me. - I really like how Loftis hasn't just focused on Fane and Jacque. It gets old when you are focusing on the same person over and over because then they have to have some sort of crazy drama to keep things interesting.
The Bad - The only thing I didn't adore about this book is how we never really got to know about the villians very well. When the "spy" was revealed at the end and the motives were given I was like, "WTF where did that come from." - CLIFFHANGERS!!! GAAAAAH!!! I finished this at 2AM and had to convince myself it would be a HORRID idea to start Out of the Dark so late because with this cliffhanger I knew OOTD would never let me go to sleep.
I gave Just One Dropfive stars for being absolutely ridiculously awesome. I literally could not put this book down. It was definitely worth the lack of sleep but now I'm on pins and needles reading Out of the Dark. Quinn Loftis you write book crack!
Before I go on, I must warn you, this series totally brings out the fangirl in me :D
You cannot be serious? I have read some doozy cliff hangers in my time – cough *Richelle Mead*, cough *Chloe Neill* just to mention a few, but this one takes the cake. I wanted to start this gush, I mean review off by using a curse word because what the is just about all I am capable of at this stage a mere 30 mins since I came to the ‘end’ (and I use that term loosely)!
I had high expectations of this book, and if you have read my thoughts on the first books, you would know how much I heart this series. I fell in love with Jacque and Fane (of course!) but I have always had a thing for Jen – this book has a lot of Jen & a lot of Decebal. Siiigggghhhhh. Ah Dec…. Jen is who I would like to be in my next life. Sexy, witty, funny & confident (and Dec’s :D). Go girl. Back to the topic, this book did not disappoint. I can’t give away too many details cause I want you to read it, and love it, but I will say, if you love stories of amazing friendship, possessive sexy males, witty banter and a story that keeps you giggling all the way through, you will love this series.
Quinn, you have done it again. As I would say to my Miss 6, “we are not friends :P” How could you do this to me? I need things, and I know you know the things I need...
Loftis has outdone herself with this wonderful addition to The Grey Wolves series.
Jen, Jacque, and Sally are at it again. The terrible trio, as I call them, is back to their witty quips and evasive tactics. They have already been through enough drama, but this time it isn't all about Jacque. New characters are introduced from the Romanian Pack that will either make or break their trio.
Decebel and Jen had tension brewing between them ever since the car accident. Now, they are trying to figure out if they are mates, and if so, why the marks haven't show up. Jen is forced to go to a gathering set up by other packs from around the world in hopes to find mates for the unmated wolves. Dec can't stand the thought of Jen being touched by another but has no claim to her. But, we all know Jen and how her antics will drive Dec insane.
This book gave me a roller coaster of emotions. I was laughing one minute then crying the next. I was shocked by the ending and couldn't believe the giant bomb that was dropped. This books has me itching to get the fourth book as soon as possible. I absolutely loved this book!
Be prepared to...Wait, scratch that- it's not possible to prepare yourself, but regardless, "try"...for you will lose yourself in the spellbinding world of The Grey Wolves Series, AGAIN! If you adored the first 2, which you'd be certifiable if you didn't-you are going to be head over heels with JOD. I was thrilled Fane & Jacque didn't vanish into the sidelines, though the heart of the story is all Jen and Decebel...which is so "yummy" all on its own. Their relationship is incredibly explosive...an out of control need to be together-yet it is forbidden?? True mates are the only option. Are they? Just when you think you have things figured out-a curve ball from left field knocks you on your arse. What..., gypsies? Quinn is a "sweet little habit" I can't kick...it's a good thing I have no desire to! Step 1- admittance... I admit I am completely & utterly addicted. Step 2-count the days until "Out of the dark" is released. Question is-do you wanna join me??
What!!!!WHAT!!!!! All I wanted was a happy ending(hysterically beating fists on wall) and you gave me that! Are you kidding! Ughhhhh! Somebody shot me. Just One Drop sunk its teeth into me so hard I'm going to be scared for life! Exceedingly hot werewolves, firey ladies and combustible action make this book one not to be passed up.
An apart from being incredibly hysterically annoyed by that cliff hanger...ugh. I have been dying to hear the story of Jen and Dec. And the little taste I got was yummy. Yummy , yummy, yummy. But I want more, dangit. (Lol)
I was happy to see the other mates in this book to, Fane and Jacque, ect. But I hate bad people, and cliff hangers.
I really liked the way this was written though. It's so emotional, completely invigorating. Makes me want to bang my head on a wall. In a good way.
I'm feeling very hot/cold right now. Let me just tell you, I liked this book a lot and am DYING for the next.
This may be my favorite of the series, which is saying a lot. I absolutely love Jen and was so excited for this book because I knew the main story arc revolved around her. Jen says the things you wish you thought of or could get away with, but never can and most importantly she owns it. I love that about her. Would I like to be on the receiving end of her snarkiness? Probably not, but it is so fun to read. I also love the many layers that is Jen. Add to that a super fun story with everything from romance to suspense and you have a super fun read. This is a book I will definitely reread.
