What a great start to a new series. Jennifer owns a security company that Dane starts working for. There is a rule that there is no dating co workers. Funny, but Jennifer and Dane both feel something. Jennifer is so strong, and she is always standoffish and telling everyone what to do. I enjoyed seeing a tender side to Jennifer. I loved Dane and what a good guy he is. Of course he is handsome, strong, and good at his job. But he is a real teddy bear when it comes to his family. Crazy, but once he starts working at the firm all kinds of coincidences start happening. Is someone trying to sabotage the business? Is there anything happening between Jennifer and Dane? You have to read the book to see what is going on. You won’t want to put the book down. I voluntarily read an Advanced Reader’s Copy of this book.

The beginning of this book was a bit bumpy for me. I DID NOT like Jennifer at first. She starts this book as a b*tch on wheels. There are lots of powerful women CEOs who have figured out how to get respect from the male executives in their industries without behaving this way, so Jennifer rubbed up against all my hot buttons. Especially when it seemed to be our sweet, charming hero she was aiming all her nastiness at. But, as I’m constantly being reminded, love and hate aren’t opposites. They both carry all kinds of passion and it was easy to see that in play between Dane and Jennifer. I loved watching these two fight their attraction to one another and I loved it even more when they finally gave in. It feels like there’s a chunk of story missing between the last two chapters. I want to know the details of solving their mystery, that part of the story is important to me. I’m irked that I don’t get it and I leave this book feeling slightly unresolved because that plot point is so open-ended still. However, I loved watching all their families interact with one another. It sounds like holidays for this pair are going to be a three-ring circus.

Track is an enemies-to-lovers office romance. In the beginning, I didn't like Jennifer. You don't have to be a hard-nosed witch to own and run a big company. She did mellow out and I ended up liking her. She is an intelligent, passionate workaholic with no personal life. Until Dane starts working for her. He is intelligent, passionate, and the best at what he does. The chemistry between them is explosive. They finally get their HEA.

There is a suspense element to the story as Jennifer's company appears to have a mole. However, I was confused by the ending of the story. A lot of things went unexplained between the last 2 chapters of the book. It appears as if the mole was given an all-expenses paid 3 month vacation without any explanation. I don't like loose ends.

There was an entire cast of interesting secondary characters. I wonder which one gets their story next?

I urge you to read Track. It's the first book in a new series from a one-click author.

This romance started well. I enjoyed the chemistry between Dane and his boss, Jennifer, even though they tried to hide their feelings. Dane was charming and sexy throughout. Jennifer started out as a tough, workaholic boss of Stokes Security but once she gave into her feelings for Dane, she became unrecognizable. Her character’s changes were abrupt and lacked credibility.
The addition of mystery surrounding the glitches at various events where they provided security services gave the story some intrigue that had so much potential. However, while the romantic elements developed into a wonderful story, the suspense portion of the plot was only developed about halfway before stalling. The mystery was left unresolved with only a random mention in the final chapter.

I think the author did a great job with chemistry of the characters, it was intense with anticipation and steamy. The suspense part of the plot had a great start but it lost its momentum within the story and didn't drive the plot or move forward on the mystery. I really enjoyed this, it was flowing very well then the flow just changed into a loop without progression. I think if the mystery had stayed in the forefront along with the romance instead of being put on the back-burner the romantic suspense would have been balanced & gripping. I received an advance review copy at no cost and without obligation from the author.

Wow, what a great start to the Secure Your Heart Series. And thank goodness we weren't left with an overwhelming cliffhanger. The security business is hotter than ever and Dane and Jennifer will have your Kindle smoking hot. The book is well written with strong, developed characters who are also likable. An engaging storyline with lots of twists and plenty of surprises. Beware once you start reading you'll find this book hard to put down. Can't wait for the rest of the series. I read an advance copy and voluntarily chose to review.

Just read this great book from Tracey Pedersen which I assume is the first in a new series. Jennifer and Dane make a great couple with their chemistry sizzling from the start. I enjoyed their tale and can't wait for the continuation of the story. It can still be read as a stand alone though which I appreciate - leaving me hanging is never a good thing. I also appreciate it doesn't end with a whirlwind proposal - romantic that might be but the cynic in me gets annoyed with cliche endings and this book delivers something different so yay!

In this romance set in a security firm that sets out to protect their clients, the attraction between Jennifer and Dane sizzles, despite the no fraternisation between co-workers. There is plenty of action and the book is fast-paced. The supporting characters are interesting and the story is generally well written. I was frustrated that it ended on a cliff-hanger with no real answers to any of the problems being experienced. I received a copy of this book as a gift and this is my honest and voluntary review.

This was well written, has a great storyline that kept me intrigued and wonderful characters. Jennifer owns Stokes Securities and has rules she never breaks until Dane starts working for her company. Dane is very attractive, smart and knows what he wants. These two trying to fight their attraction for each other but also trying to figure out who is trying to take down the company kept me turning the pages. I am looking forward to the next book in the series. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Drew and Jennifer were attracted to each other from the beginning but tried to fight it because she was the boss. It took me longer than normal to read this book. It was well written but I had trouble connecting with the two main leads. The mystery portion was interesting but eventually just fizzled out. There were a few questionable moments and it ended with a lot of unanswered questions. Not my favourite by Ms Pedersen.
I received an ARC copy from the author and this is my honest review.

This was a pretty good book until the end. The chemistry between the two main characters was good and the storyline had some interesting offshoots. The end fell flat though not really wrapping up the problem with the odd behavior of the business manager or the company sabotage.

Jennifer the owner of a security firm has a firm no dating employees rule. That goes right out the window when Dane is hired.

I received an arc of this book and voluntarily am providing a review.

I was caught up in Jennifer and Dane love/hate relationship. They are attracted to each other but Jennifer is his boss and has a rule about not getting involved with her employees. But she can't really resist Dane. He is her perfect guy and eventually they both just can't fight it anymore. I love their inner struggles and how they seem to always gravitate to each other anyway. I would have loved to see more of what happened at the office with Ralph even if some of it was explained.

Secure My Heart series is off to a good start. I hope that ending was a cliffhanger and there will be more to Jennifer & Dane's story. Otherwise it will be a total bummer, there are still plenty of unanswered questions. Jennifer and Dane are a cute couple. I enjoyed reading this book and can't wait to see what happens next.

Love when you least expect it.

This was a cute "falling for my boss" story. Dane is new and us trying to prove his worth to his boss Jennifer. The only problem is that sparks fly when they are near each other. There is a lot of angst while they fight their attraction but it is worth it when they finally get together.

This couple really is perfect for one another.

It was amusing to watch Jennifer give Dane a hard time, but she really was immature about torturing the poor guy. The story kept moving, which is nice. Jennifer needs to work on her communication skills.
