Billionaire Knights #1

Restless Billionaire

Rate this book
Who wants to be a billionaire? Sure, it has massive advantages. But how do you trust that money isn’t the only thing people see when they know who you are? On a rare vacation, naturally tacked on to business, Evan Knight is planning to sail and maybe work on a tan. What could be better than a few days of peace? There’s just the small matter of clinching a couple of deals while he’s there. Macy doesn’t need a man and isn’t interested in one who can buy and sell her family’s marina a hundred times over. Someone who isn’t used to fighting to pay bills or has a sick parent to care for can’t possibly understand her way of life. Someone so hot, the water in Heaven Bay isn’t cold enough to cool the fire he’s creating by merely being near. Is it worth taking a chance at a relationship based on a mere possibility? 5* “Enjoyed this book immensely! Kept my attention right from page one till the end. I will definitely be on the lookout for more in this series!”

5* "Such a beautiful story of family love, commitment, finding your way in the midst of family priorities and expectations, and faith. A must read!”

Blurb:
Evan Knight knows who he is. Which is not the same as knowing who he wants to be. Then he finds heaven. Macy Heaven, to be precise.

Long-legged, plump lips, and eyes the color of the sea, she bewitches him. Unfortunately, she’s not interested in a man who makes the kind of deals he’s renowned for.

Is it possible to change your life so radically, on a mere possibility?

" Moving, inspiring and beautiful! I truly enjoy reading it."

"I received a complimentary copy of this book and have volunteered to leave a review."

It is well known that owning and managing a business is hard and also life draining. The financial issues are a typical matter every so often on a business which don't let you take a breath freely. As an owner you can choose if you are strong to handle and solve your problems alone or you are going to ask help from a specialist. The question is, if you choose the second way will you be ready to let your walls down and be vulnerable in front of the man you have asked to help you?

Evan Knight is restless! He works for his family business for many years whereas his dream is to create something by himself. To buy or to invest to a troubled company is what Evan is good at but he is not anymore interested in. When a small business grabbed his attention he couldn't imagine that the trip to Heaven's bay would give him the push he needed to change his life. Handsome and gentleman, Evan carries the title of "Knight" very well. I personally admire his pure willingness and commitment to help others despite the nature of his job. Behind his fine mannerisms I see a man who knows what he really wants and how he can get it. However, he was a sight to watch after meeting Macy Heaven. Macy has taken and shake his world...to better!

Macy's Heaven life is all but working at her family's business. She runs the Heaven's bay Marina along with her father but her dream is be on board and sail around the world. Unfortunately, the financial problems of their business won't let her live that dream. Meeting Evan as a client never crossed her mind for something more between them; yet, it was clear from the beginning there was a strong pull, an undeniable attraction she has on him. Evan's business interest about the marina was an thorn for Macy and she wasn't interested in making any negotiations about it with him. She was stubborn but mature enough to see what's right for her business. And Evan's presence came the...perfect moment!

I enjoyed reading Restless Billionaire! It's more than a love story. It deals with important themes such as business difficulties, life values, relationships among family members or people of a very closed community. I always find it interesting when there is a strong background story in a romance and Restless Billionaire has definitely one. Although, the narration was written on the third person it felt easy for me to connect with the heroes. Macy and Evan are two beautiful, heartwarming souls it wasn't hard to love them. However, I would love to see more of them being alone in the story. It's the only reason for my four stars! (and little because of the story's title. I would like it to be more inspiring. The story deserves it.) To sum, Restless Billionaire is a story anyone would enjoy reading. It's perfectly paced with seamless flow; very well written by an author who unfolds a very touching topic with the most inspiring way.

I hope I intrigue your imagination and made you grab the book yourselves and find out what's really happening because there is no way to tell you myself.

Until next time, enjoy your free time reading great books with the most unforgettable stories.

Evan Knight is looking for a change of pace. Macy feels like she has the weight of the world on her shoulders and yet never complains. Both come from different backgrounds and circumstances. He works for his family's financially successful business. Macy is barely keeping her head above water keeping Heaven Bay Marina afloat (no puns intended!) working all day, every day to keep her parents business alive. Her mother has passed and her father is just going through the motions. It is Macy's responsibility to keep the business going but unfortunately, it is a struggle.

Without giving too much of the story away, this is a romantic story of two people who fins common ground, have some misunderstandings, but in the end, Evan is truly Macy's white knight in shining armor.

Restless Billionaire is a quick and easy sweet romance. Macy is trying to save her family's marina. Evan is trying to find purpose in his life. This is the story of what happens when their paths cross. Once I started reading I wanted to keep reading to see how their story would play out. Could it have had more character development? Sure, but for the length of the book, I think Cheryl Phipps did a fine job. I enjoyed her style of writing and how she moved the story along. Will definitely look to read more of her stories.

Huh where's the rest of the book

They know each other for a total of about a month. Of that, they spend six days together. He moves across the country and decides she's his future without really knowing her. She is cool but, not marry-me-now material. She's right to take it slow and, they should build a solid foundation before getting married. But the reader doesn't get to see that and that's sad.

This is a story not to be missed. The plot is enjoyable and keeps your interest from start to finish. Two people from such different backgrounds find each other and have such chemistry. I loved watching these two characters navigate their blossoming relationship. I received this book as a gift and voluntarily give this review.

The Maggie

The Maggie was a boat named after her mother. Both her father and her still own the marina that here mom and dad had started. Now mom was gone and the marina wasn't doing well. Will they let Mr. Knight help and let him romance her....oh I am not giving that away. I really enjoyed the story and characters, great read

Evan was the partner in his family's business that sought out floundering businesses, with the aim of acquiring, partnership or advisement for better business returns.
He also was a restless soul, not quite content in himself.
A visit to Heaven's marina, and an encounter with the young co-owner, saw him looking at new possibilities.

Loved this story

This book was fun and exciting to read and refreshing. The story was unusual in that the billionaire was interested in something that he had never been interested in before and fell in love with part owner.

Good read

I enjoyed this sweet romance about Evan and Macy, who fell in love quickly when he rented a boat from her marina. The only pro men used with this book is that it ended too soon.

Short

This story, although enjoyable, is too short and ends too abruptly. Very little of this tale is about the romance .
