The dragon lord, Kyg, now the Royal King of Byndra is finding his place as the head of the royal court. His Consort Samin is coming to terms with his pregnancy under the care of his husband and his faithful staff. The Spring Equinox, an annual royal celebration, is only a few weeks away and Sam takes charge to show the Byndraian that he can become a loyal Consort to rule alongside Kyg.

Kyg is caught up in his royal duties, while Xeg is in charge of securing the palace and grounds.

With Queen Cezzot on the run along with the dragon/vampire hybrid, Solomon, no one is taking any chances with the King and his pregnant Consort’s lives. The other culprits involved in Queen Cezzot’s revolt are also missing after their defeat in the last battle.

Hidden on a distance planet, Cezzot is plotting to recapture the throne which she believes is rightfully hers. Working with Solomon, Cezzot plants an undercover accomplice into the dragon’s royal palace.
The accomplice sets his plan in motion which puts Sam in danger. Sam is kidnapped, forcing Kyg to re-evaluate his priorities. Xeg finds himself under attack by mysterious forces.

Will Sam and Xeg be rescued? What will happen to Sam’s baby?

Pierce Smith, aka PS, has been writing since his childhood. He is a young, single, sexy author who lives alone in the countryside; somewhere on the Planet Earth. He always gets lost in a fantasy/paranormal world of ghosts, shapeshifters, aliens and more. Most of the time his imagination, intuitions, dreams, and his love for them drift him away. The battle is over Kyg is the Royal King of Byndra and his love and consort Samin is coming to terms he is having pregnant with heir to the throne. Sam with some help is planing The Spring Equinox an annual celebration, Sam wants to show Kyg and the Byndraian that even though he is human that he is worthy of the kings love and will be a loyal Consort to rule along side Kyg and love among them as one of them. Xeg is in charge of securing the palace and the grounds. They are all on edge for Queen Cezzot along with Solomon escaped from the battle, Xeg along with his forces need to keep the King and his Consort safe from harm. No one can be trusted there are spies & bad magic all around. Book two will have you on the edge of your seat, get ready for a wild ride of good up against evil & have you wondering who will come out on top. If you love shifter Dragons and sci-fi fantasy worlds this series is definitely for you. Pierce Smith has a wild imagination and weaves the story in a way you can picture everything so clearly. I'm eager to find out what is to come next for Kyg, Sam the baby, Xeg & all of Byndra. This series is for 18+ A I'm Mpreg story contains mature content & Language that some may find offensive

Pierce Smith brought a 5 star rating with the next installment of Conflict. After the Queen Cezzot and Solomon escape the Battle, King Kyg and his human consort Sam are awaiting the birth of the next heir to the throne. Sam is helping with the plans for the spring Equinox; an annual event. Xeg, is in charge of security. There is something wrong with him and he isn't letting anyone know about it.

Several new characters are introduced and the suspense is building. The Queen is still trying to take the throne; with Solomon and others with her. There is a spy in the castle.

This is a fast-paced, page turning story. I didn't want it to end. Can't wait for next book to release.

Pierce is one of those writers that can take his characters and their stories to a whole new level, not only are these characters richly written but you can feel their emotions right along with them, they will hold your attention from start to finish and leave little bits of themselves with you to contemplate later.... I really enjoyed this book, Kyg and Sam take you on the next part of their journey and will leave you wanting more.... seriously what a ride.... and it ain't over yet...

This was one fantastic, powerful, grab-you-by-the-feels, fascinating, intense, beautiful, wild, intense, great, and marvelous masterpiece of a tale. Filled with mystery, intrigue, danger, conspiracies, plots, passion, love, and loyalty, this sweeping saga pulled me in from the very first page, and left me semi-patiently waiting for the next release in this totally awesome series.

Conflict: The Queen by Pierce Smith continues the story started in the previous book Conflict: An Heir. The story is interesting and entertaining, the characters are ntriguing. Betrayals, secrets, lust, danger, conspiring... there are some amazing elements to this story.

There was a certain part of the story that created a big situation that did not sit well with me since I am all about monogamy in my love stories unless the relationship is established as open.... sadly when I'm reading a story where a line is crossed that causes much pain for the other character, it takes a bit of the enjoyment of the overall story away for me.

Even with that part though, I still see the story as a whole as worth the recording and read... just be aware there may be a part some readers may not like. I really cant wait for more of this series - definitely anxious after that ending...
