This book was ok. It would have flowed better if the chapters had been divided up by kind of cottage (New England, log cabin, etc) instead of by room (living, kitchen, bedroom, etc). But the ideas were pretty good and I loved the pictures.

This book has some really good ideas. By no means do I want to transform my home into the cottage style but some of the furniture would be neat fully painted and used in a modern home without being distressed. Love getting ideas.

Lots of wonderful colourful photos depicting the cottage style of decorating. More treatment of bathrooms and kitchens would be nice.
