the plot line in this one didn't seem as thought out as the cellar, but wow was i happy that i chose to read this! the character developments left me speechless. the way everything just was written so perfectly was great for me. this was a great sequel despite typos or grammar errors, but i loved this book nonetheless
YAYY, A HAPPY ENDING!!! Now do this for all your books Natasha 🙈 (The Island left me with anxiety). Although, I did think that Summer and Becca were being SO dumb, especially Becca. I did enjoy this though so mwah 💋 chef’s kiss
there were some grammatical errors and the story has slightly different names for characters compared to the book version of the cellar, but its a pretty nice story i seriously hate colin tho and im glad he died. i just don't get why he forgave Chantelle. she is still a prostitute even if she didn't have a choice.
also not summer and becca using 0% of their brains the whole book
Not near as engaging as the original as there really isn't much tension with the antagonist not near his prior victims. I will say I definitely felt on edge when he crossed paths with some of those innocent bystanders on his return to his FLOWERS🤮🫸
BUT
overall it's just kinda boring and unnecessary imo.
2.5⭐️-3.0 ⭐️ Not 100% sure how I should rate this one. I was intrigued the entire time, wondering what was going to happen next. Yet it fell a bit flat. Also Summer used 0% of her logic throughout the whole book 😅
I recently finished His for the second time, and it reminded me why I fell in love with Natasha Preston’s writing in the first place. This book can only be found on Wattpad, and if you haven’t yet read The Cellar, definitely start there before diving into this one.
Natasha Preston is one of my favorite authors, and The Cellar was actually the very first book I ever read from her when it was originally on Wattpad. Between the two, the first book is still my favorite — but His was a solid follow-up, and I’m so glad it ended on a happy note. Seeing Lewis propose to Summer and knowing both girls finally got the ending they deserved after everything they went through with “Clover” made the journey worth it.
There are several grammar mistakes throughout, but honestly, they didn’t bother me. The story outweighed the flaws, and I still really enjoyed the read. Next year I’m planning to make it a goal to read more of Natasha Preston’s books, and I can’t wait to dive in.

I was so happy to hear there was a part 2 to The Cellar because it’s my favorite Natasha Preston book. I loved getting more insight from Clover and why he is the way he is. I liked getting read how Summer & Becca were doing mentally. At the end of The Cellar, they were pretending everything was peachy and normal and it was nice to see that they actually had a lot to work out. There were a few inconsistencies but overall I was happy with the story!
this was better than the cellar, honestly i wish he died in that book cause it was so tragic and hard to read. (especially when the book had zero trigger warnings and was super difficult to have to find out with no warning) but i enjoyed knowing that summer and lewis could get through what happened and build their relationship and future ahh i was so excited about the ending!!!!

I had a lot I wanted to say after I finished His, You’ll Always Be Mine but all I can think about right now is it that I’m happy Summer and Becca got the happily ever after they deserved 🥹💞
PS - Natasha hasn’t published this book officially but you can read it on Wattpad under His by Natasha Preston.
This was the sequel to The Cellar, but because it was such a short book & on Wattpad I feel like it could have been better. But I’m overall happy with the outcome and the ending of the main characters.
This book was enjoyable! The plot kept me guessing and I liked how there were several different points of view. This book’s message was to always keep your eyes open because people are not as they seem. I would give this book 4.1/5 stars!
This book was good and I liked it but I feel like it’s a little too short and the timeline is all rushed. I still loved it and I hope there is a 3rd book to the series.
The ending was absolutely perfection some parts i thought could’ve been a tad better but it was a good ending to the Cellar. Definitely a must read once you read the Cellar.
