This is a book that has been in my family for years. I have read bits and pieces so probably have read the whole. I just ordered a copy from Amazon (my BFF) and it is the same edition as the one on my grandmother's bookshelf. She quoted this book at us for years and I have decided that I really need to have a copy. The one she had I think lives with my uncle now and I know there is so much information in this book. Books are not Classics without reason. This is the type of book to take out of doors on a lovely day so that you can listen to the life grow around you.

Not called a classic for nothin'. Very interesting stories about plants.
