Tinsel, Vermont is known for its no-paparazzi policy and Christmas decorations that are fit for a queen. This holiday season, join four royals on a stroll through town square as they each find their Christmas wishes for a happily-ever-after...tiaras optional.

One Royal Christmas by Melissa Tagg
In the wake of the worst year of his life, His Majesty Jonah Harrison Archer Davies makes the drastic decision to temporarily abdicate the throne and travel to Tinsel, Vermont, in hopes of finding the peace and privacy he needs to heal, discover his vision for his country . . . and somehow believe himself worthy of the crown. But when he meets charming librarian Rowan Bell,on a quest of her own to save Tinsel’s quaint cottage library, he’s more torn than ever before as duty to the crown collides with an enchanting Christmastime romance he didn’t see coming.

The Reluctant Princess by Betsy St. Amant
Princess Eleanor is weary of the protocol that comes with the crown, along with her lack of voice on causes she holds dear. She takes a holiday in the safety of Tinsel, Vermont, to determine her next steps–and certainly didn’t mean to fall for the average Joe assigned as her chauffeur. But Miles Channing isn’t so average, after all. He’s Liam Neal, part of the notoriously famous American Neal Family, and is hiding with secrets of his own. When Christmas comes and the truth shakes her life like a snow globe, Eleanor must decide once and for all where she’ll be standing when the snowflakes settle.

A Royal Wonderland by Liz Johnson
With his public break up still making tabloid headlines,Prince Andrew Tennesley hopes a few weeks in Tinsel will help the gossips move on and give him a chance to propose a program the people of his country need. When Andrew is left to decorate a home for Tinsel’s Christmas lights contest, he has to rely on pretty hardware store owner Charlotte Hudson for help. Charlie doesn’t mind hanging twinkle lights with him. She just isn’t interested in the spotlight. But as they set out to create a winter wonderland, Andrew has her wondering if she’s been hiding out in Tinsel too and missing out on the best gift of the season–love.

A Tinsel Holiday by Ashley Clark
Princess Beatrix has already met the love of her life. Two years ago, an American journalist named Tyler was assigned to write a feature story about her. But the twenty-four hours that followed changed the two of them forever. Now, Tyler has returned home to Tinsel and traded his career in journalism to run The Melody Inn. Though the quirky mayor and eccentric town traditions are a far cry from the world travels he once enjoyed,Tyler has settled into small-town life and made peace with the knowledge he will never see Beatrix again. But when an American tour brings Princess Beatrix to Tinsel, she and Tyler will have another twenty-four hours together and one more chance at love. Only this time, with gingerbread and mistletoe.

Such a sweet book! A collection of four novellas featuring a town called Tinsel in Vermont where royals and celebrities can go for a relaxing vacation without worrying about media or other prying eyes. I thoroughly enjoyed each of these stories, and as many other reviewers have mentioned, this would make a perfect Hallmark movie! The concept is so fun and the romance is heartwarming and plentiful. Do yourself a favor and pick this one up today. It's a very fast-paced, light read that is perfect for the holiday season.

This unique town also has the best Christmas celebrations and decorations that could rival any other town. Royally Yours shares four charming stories of family, faith, and discovering true love during the festive holiday season.

This collection of four novellas by Melissa Tagg, Betsy St. Amant, Liz Johnson, and Ashley Clark is sure to be a hit with readers, and any of the novellas from Royally Yours would make the perfect storyline for a Hallmark Christmas movie. Who doesn’t love fairytale romances, especially ones involving members from royal families? The four royals featured in Royally Yours have incredible prestige and power from their unique birthright, but they also have flaws and insecurities just like the rest of us.

The four novellas flow together seamlessly as if they were all written by the same author, and readers will enjoy seeing the beloved town of Tinsel featured in all of its Christmas glory in each of the novellas. Royally Yours is recommended for readers of contemporary romance, especially those who are fans of Rachel Hauck’s Royal Wedding series.

Imagine a town perfectly suited for royal and celebrity visitors. Free of paparazzi or journalists, the Christmas-crazy town of Tinsel, Vermont, has made a name for itself as a restful getaway for public figures. The citizens care about each other and about making their visitors welcome, no matter how recognizable their names or faces.

This novella collection features four royalty-inspired Christmas stories. A king, a prince, and two princesses experience true holiday cheer while visiting Tinsel. Naturally, a little Christmas romance ensues as well. Is love strong enough to overcome the daily pressures and stresses that our royals will face when they leave the magic found within Tinsel's city limits?

One Royal Christmas by Melissa Tagg: One weary king takes a vacation to Tinsel, Vermont, where he holds fond memories of the library he visited as a child. Librarian Rowan is fighting the town to keep the library's location and her grandmother's legacy intact. A sweet story dealing with calling, family issues, and the desires of one's heart. 4.5 stars

The Reluctant Princess by Betsy St. Amant: Feeling unheard and unnecessary, and still grieving the loss of her father, Princess Elinor heads to Tinsel, Vermont, for a Christmas holiday. Reformed badboy Liam is hiding out under an assumed name, wishing his dysfunctional family could stay out of the tabloids. There are no good reasons to get involved with the princess, except that his heart is drawn to hers. 3 stars

A Royal Wonderland by Liz Johnson: Running her family's hardware store in Tinsel, Vermont, has kept Charlotte out of the spotlight. She didn't like the person she became when it shone on her almost a decade earlier. When visiting Prince Andrew needs help navigating regular life and competing in a Christmas decorating contest, he finds that being with Charlotte makes him a better person. Can they carry the magic beyond the Christmas season? 3.5 stars

A Tinsel Holiday by Ashley Clark: Princess Beatrix's happiest memory came two years ago: the day she ran away and for 24 hours pretended to be a normal citizen. She fell in love with a man named Tyler James, and now that she has a brief amount of extra time on her American holiday, she goes to Tinsel, Vermont, to try to find him again. Will their second 24-hour romance be as unforgettable as their first, or will misunderstandings and sneaky friends ruin their blissful Christmastime reunion? 2.5 stars

I absolutely loved this collection of four royalty themed novellas! It was fun to get a peek into the lives of four different royals, see what they were struggling with, and watch them find their happily-ever-afters, all in a beautiful Christmas setting.

If you are a fan of movies that feature a royal romance theme, or perhaps enjoyed The Royal Wedding Series by Rachel Hauck, then Royally Yours will most likely be a collection that leaves you with a happy sigh at the end of each story, as it did for me.

It was so fun to read these stories and I felt that each one of the authors did a good job of writing novellas that provided a complete story arc, leaving me happily satisfied at the end of each book.

Royally Yours was a delightful Christmas read. I loved the uniqueness of the plot - a small town that bans all paparazzi and is an escape for celebrities, royals, etc.

The book is divided into four novellas. I didn't notice any connection between the main characters, so I feel like each novella can stand-alone. I really enjoyed each of the stories. I can't even pick a favorite, as they were all so good.

All in all, Royally Yours was very good and I recommend you add it to your TBR pile, if you haven't already. I'm hoping for more Tinsel, Vermont stories. ;)

'God had called him to do a hard thing. Now, Jonah simply prayed God would help him carry it out.'

I am a royalty fan. Have been for many decades. So this book on my radar excited me. And the authors have done a wonderful job.

The tiny town of Tinsel, Vermont, does Christmas up on a grand scale. They also have a media ban, so celebrities can come there to vacation and not be followed around by reporters. They are safe in Tinsel. In this charming quartet of novellas, royal personages do just that. They come to Tinsel to get away from it all and while they are there, they find something wonderful: love. I love this little town! Sometimes you read about a fictional place and it is done so well, you simply want to go walk its streets and have conversations with its residents. Tinsel is that town for me. Too bad it's only fictional. I enjoyed every minute of this book and I truly recommend it.

*My thanks to one of the authors for a preview copy of this book. The opinion here is completely my own.

Charming is definitely a word I would use to describe this book of Christmas novellas. I was captured by each and every story! I was sad to come to an end when I realized I had gotten to the last one.
I love all things royal and all things Christmas, so this was a perfect fit for me.

This review is for Melissa Tagg’s story, One Royal Christmas. I will add my review for each story as I read them. I was never a huge fan of novellas. I always felt like the story was too rushed and I always wanted more! But then, I read a Melissa Tagg novella - Three Little Words- and it changed my thoughts completely! Certain authors can make a novella just as satisfying as a full length story, and Melissa is one of those authors.

I really enjoyed the first meeting between Jonah and Rowan. It was both original and funny. I mean it involved a library full of books and a guy with an accent! What’s not to love? The banter between Rowan and Jonah and the whole thing he did with the books - can’t say what, spoilers! - were my favorite parts of the story. And the town of Tinsel? At Christmastime? Can I just move there right now? What a quaint little town.

This review is for A Tinsel Holiday by Ashley Clark. I was so happy to start this story because I was more than ready to go back to Tinsel, Vermont, the most perfect little Christmas town, after reading Melissa’s story!

I immediately loved Princess Beatrix! She is so down to earth and so sweet! I really liked that her and Tyler had met before because it made their relationship so much more believable. And that epilogue!! If you didn’t love Tyler before, you will afterwards!! There was a nice little twist towards the end that was unexpected and added to the story. If you’re looking for sweet Christmas fairytales, this is the compilation for you! I’m looking forward to reading the last two stories by Liz Johnson and Betsy St. Amant!

I received a complimentary copy of this book. All thoughts are my own.

Such a delightful contemporary Christmas novella collection! The four stories take place in Tinsel, Vermont, a Christmas-y vacation safe haven free of paparazzi for the famous and the ordinary. And the stories have royalty visiting the small fairytale-like town to escape life’s pressures. The collection, from beginning to end, will bring a smile to your face; what’s there not to love about this enchanting storybook setting and couples falling in love in a magical wonderland, written by some of my favorite authors? If you enjoy contemporary Christmas romance, you will definitely want to read this one.

All four authors create such deeply layered, multidimensional characters to make each story feel like a full novel instead of a novella. The plots are well-laid out and move at a good pace. The wonderful life and faith lessons the characters learn are spot on and encouraging.

I’m a fan of Melissa Tagg, Betsy St. Amant, and Liz Johnson and their stories are as delicious and heart-melting as I expected and hoped they would be. Ashley Clark is the only author who is new to me; I will surely be looking out for her books in the future after this introduction.

I received a copy of the book via the authors and publisher and was under no obligation to post a positive review. All comments and opinions are solely my own.

All of these stories take place in Tinsel, Vermont, a town that serves as a hideaway for many a famous person, as the paparazzi isn't allowed within city limits. (Side note: I would love to know more about Mayor Hayden's backstory!)

You know how the Hallmark Channel is starting to do anthology movies (like the Christmas in Evergreen films)? These stories would be perfect for something like that! Each story is sweet and romantic, and, while each author has her own style, the stories feel like they fit together. I loved the experience of reading these novellas--you could say that they gave me all the feels 😄. I'd rate all of them between 4 and 5 stars; basically, you can't go wrong with this book! 4-1/2 stars.

Disclosure of material connection: I received this book from one of the authors. I was not required to write a positive review, and the opinions expressed are my own.

This is the sweetest collection of Christmas novellas. Set in an adorable town(that I wish was real!) with a fun quirk-no media allowed so celebrities and royalty can have a vacation spot free from media/paparazzi was such a cute premise. ALL of these stories would make great Hallmark Christmas movies. My personal favorite of the collection was Melissa's. I loved that the town's library was a major part of the story and all the bookish elements Melissa added. That was so fun and charmed my love of all things bookish heart. The other three stories are also charming and full of romance, humor and all things Christmas. If you like Hallmark movies, all things Royal, or sweet Christmas novellas, then this is the collection for you!

‘Royally Yours’ – All of the Sweet Fairy Tale Romance

STORY | A collection of four novellas, each one follows a royal who’s trying to find a place away from scrutiny and the media. They all find this in Tinsel Vermont. In their stories, we meet…

…In One Royal Christmas by Melissa Tagg, Jonah, a royal weary of the scrutiny and complicated state of his feelings about being king. He finds some peace and quiet in Tinsel where he also meets the librarian, Rowan Bell, a woman who may alter his entire future.

…In The Reluctant Princess by Betsy St. Amant, princess Eleanor hides from protocol – and the anticipated duties that come with this, when she arrives in Tinsel. There she falls for the man hired as her chauffer, all while unaware he too has some cuts in need of healing.

BOOK REVIEW | ‘The Solid Grounds Coffee Company’ is the End of a Unique Trio

…In A Royal Wonderland by Liz Johnson, Andrew Tennesley is trying to hide from a very public breakup. The royal escapes his life for quieter places and discovers the unexpected entrance into his life that is a pretty hardware store owner, Charlotte Hudson.

…In A Tinsel Holiday by Ashley Clark we meet Princess Beatrix, a woman who’s already met the man of her dreams. Trouble is, that was two years ago and their one day together does not a match make. When she unexpectedly meets him again, she discovers that his interest may not be as honest as she thinks.

REVIEW | Written by four authors, each with varying numbers of novels or novellas to their credit, Royally Yours may be a collection that is set in the winter months, but it’s perfect no matter the season if you’re a fan of sweet romance. There’s plenty to love about this quartet of novellas, and the characters make it easier to enjoy.

There’s so many fun tropes in these stories. From love-at-first-sight to mistaken identities to a Roman Holiday-esque plot (A Tinsel Holiday), there is something to suit everyone’s romance reader likes. Each story is a sweet treat, but I must confess to having a weak spot for Andrew and Charlotte, and of course, Melissa’s stories are always gems (and I mean, really, guys, the heroine is a librarian and the hero a prince! That’s a romantic bookworm’s dream, right?).

If you’re a fan of anything by these authors or clean romance, you’ll swoon over these four royal romance stories. They’re charming, engaging and all around, lovely reads to enjoy no matter the season or as a little “pick-me-up” when you’re feeling a bit down. Let the stories of these reluctant, romantic and runaway royals take you to Tinsel Vermont in these charming Royally Yours stories.

It was a cute collection!

I loved that the royals were all treated as people and it was a “media free” town. It was fun to see them fall in love with “normal people”, and just enjoy all that Christmas has to offer.

Each story was sweet! Perfect length.

4/5 for the overall collection

I love these authors and their gifted way of drawing your heartstrings into all the feels of budding romance. The best part is the faith element of Christmas woven into the midst of these royally inspired books. If you want all the feels of a fresh Christmas collection of stories, this is the book for you.

I've never heard of a town in Vermont named Tinsel, but it sounds like a really fun place to visit. I think visiting during the weeks before Christmas would be perfect! It seems the town has so much going for it and so many interesting characters.
I enjoyed reading this cute collection of stories based in the town of Tinsel, Vermont. Each book was full of sweet holiday moments and quaint royal personalities. The characters in each story brought fun and sparkle to the pages.
I recommend you pick this book up if you want to add a little royal sparkle to your holidays!

A great royalty meets small-town romance

My rating is 4.5 stars

Four great authors have combined their talents to create a wonderful, quirky, small town where Christmas wishes come true! Tinsel, Vermont is a haven for those seeking to avoid the media – as it is against the law for paparazzi to invade the privacy of this burg.

I enjoyed the continuity of the portrayal of the town and could even picture the gazebo off the town square. Candy Cane Lane, with the intense displays in the yards, reminded me of a street in the town where I grew up. The idea of an annual decorating contest there was just perfect! And with a prize of bragging rights - well, who could resist that challenge?!

Liz Johnson's A Royal Wonderland, in which Prince Andrew tries to decorate a house for Christmas with the help of the lovely hardware store owner, Eleanor, was probably my favorite story in the set but there was stiff competition between the others. After all, it is hard to resist a king who is an avid reader and wears a flannel shirt as in Melissa Tagg's One Royal Christmas. The Reluctant Princess by Betsy St. Amant was a lot of fun with the princess and her chauffeur who has a surprising secret. And A Tinsel Holiday by Ashley Clark was a delightful "what if" ending to a story similar to one of my favorite movies Roman Holiday.

If you enjoy sweet romantic Christmassy stories, be sure to pick up a copy of Royally Yours!

Such a delightful collection of short Christmas stories, all set in a town called Tinsel in Vermont. The kind of dreamy winter wonderland town you can easily imagine, where the people love the festivities and go all out to celebrate the season. This town is unique in which they have created a safe haven for the rich and famous, and so we have the perfect location for 4 vacationing royals, to escape from the public eye and the weight of responsibilities.

Each of these stories, though set in this town are uniquely different, that I felt like each had things I loved about them. It was almost like watching mini Hallmark movies, and I felt like each author wrote a compelling plot line.

This time of year if you’re looking for a Christmas themed Contemporary collection, this would be the perfect choice!!

I very much loved all these novellas! Imagine a town in Vermont that caters to celebrities, famous people and royalty but bans any kind of reporters and paparazzi! The town just lets them enjoy Christmas (or any time of the year) without the worry that they will be hounded and photographed! Each of the stories in the book were about royalty that needed a break and were somewhat "running" from something. They needed to reassess their life and just "be" for a bit. Each one met a "local" and for once, were liked for being a regular person. I loved the uniqueness of each royals' situation and the characters in each book. The authors did a good job of bringing to life the Christmas season and the town of Tinsel, Vermont. I sure wish it was a real place because I would definitely go there! The townspeople were so interesting and lovable! The mayor was in each story, along with various town sites. I would very much recommend this book, even if it's not the Christmas season!

This was a nice collection, pretty much what I expected: Hallmark like stories that were sweet and romantic.

The first story by Tagg was my favorite and it was everything I wanted in a story like this: Sweet, romantic, and not over the top. I loved it a lot! Her story was worth the whole collection.

Amant's story was my least favorite. I'll be the first to admit some of that is the mood I was in. I'm a little sick of seeing language and even mild substituents creeping into my Christian fiction. With that said her use of the words dang and heck fit the character.

Johnson and Clark's stories were fun and sweet.

With the exception of Tagg's story, I felt like sometimes this kissing was a little much in a couple of places.

If you are looking for a Hallmark like story collection, I recommend this one.

The “cover blurb” says: Tinsel, Vermont is known for its no-paparazzi policy and Christmas decorations that are fit for a queen. This holiday season, join four royals on a stroll through town square as they each find their Christmas wishes for a happily-ever-after...tiaras optional.

Tinsel. A Christmas-centric little town in Vermont. The town really does it up during the Christmas season… and some residents, like the mayor, even live Christmas all year long. I love the reason for Christmas, but I’m not a big shindig-for-holidays person. I love to be invited to share with my friends, but I rarely entertain. As your basic introvert, I generally leave the party early. That’s just me. But this book made me feel like I was invited to the party. And I loved it. And, I wanted to stay. Forever.

Because of the media blockade, celebrities and royals are safe in Tinsel. The four novellas in this collection feature contemporary princes and princesses, with all their power and status, seeking that safety. That anonymity. Royals who also have uncertainties and fears just like the regular folks in Tinsel… or your town, or mine. That they fell in love, their lives and families were enriched and their problems were resolved because they visited Tinsel, in some ways gives me hope that the same can happen in my town. Maybe.

I have read books by Liz Johnson before (well everything she’s written, okay) and Melissa Tagg (many, but not all, of hers), but the other two authors were new to me. I’ll be looking into their other books too. My only reasons for not giving this collection 5-stars are 1) continuity – same town, some of the same people, but there were unexplained discrepancies (I know I’m a little OCD, but…) and 2) the faith element that I am accustomed to in Liz and Melissa’s books wasn’t as strong in these or the other two novellas. Don’t get me wrong… these were all good reads and I would recommend them to others to read. They will touch your heart. I believe you will enjoy them. I did.

I received a reader-review e-copy from one of the authors in exchange for an honest review. This is my honest review.

In One Royal Christmas by Melissa Tagg we meet Rowan and Jonah. Both are dealing with expectations versus hopes and dreams. It was a pleasure to get to know them in Tinsel and watch them find themselves. A romance that was truly romantic. I thoroughly enjoyed this story.

The Reluctant Princess by Betsy St. Amant introduces us to Eleanor and Miles/Liam. Both of them are running away from their real identities for different reasons. They connect even though he is less than honest about his identity and thus the black moment is very predictable. A nice read though somewhat contrived.

Liz Johnson (and the reason I picked up this book) pens A Royal Wonderland, a novella about Charlotte and Andrew. Both are hiding out in Tinsel and find themselves working together to decorate for Christmas. Somehow they have to learn from each other how to face their insecurities and embrace their futures without fear. I loved this story.

A Tinsel Holiday by Ashley Clark is about Beatrix and Tyler. She is engaged to another man but Tyler was a one-day fling she never forgot. Likewise for him. When attraction flares again will they succumb or do what is necessary? Not as well written as the others. I found some of the wordage confusing and awkward. I also had no sympathy for Beatrix and Tyler--probably because I was the woman that a boyfriend cheated on. I get the why in this story, but still...

Over all, a great Christmassy read and recommended.

I was given a copy free. All opinions are my own.

A perfect holiday treat

I’ve long been a sucker for all things royalty, fairy tale(ish) and Christmas. This collection ticks all the boxes and is an utter delight! I usually find one story in a collection shines a little brighter than the rest, but I can sincerely say that isn’t the case here. All four tales are well written, engaging, and perfect for the season and theme. Definitely one I recommend without reservation.
