Absolutely Awesome!

A beautifully written book. Merlin and Martin's story is one of heartache, trials and love!
Amazing characters and a thrilling storyline makes this book that much more exciting! Action packed and delicious!

Another fantastic page-turner from DalRae in her Fallen Cross Legion Series. Merlin and Martin’s romance was hinted at in previous volumes but in this story Merlin’s heartbreaking past is documented. Merlin knows in order to save the family he has come to love, he needs to leave the compound, but his fellow warriors attempt to change his mind. They don’t seem to understand how skillful the Dark Warriors of the Kurai Senshi are, they are trained assassins who can completely disable their foes. I loved how this completely different type of vampire is brought to life with the feel of an ancient Samurai swordsman. They steal the light and use its energy to fuel their power, the shade. One of the dark ones, Takeshi, is Merlin’s nemesis and has been hunting him for a thousand years. While Merlin had remained safely hidden inside the Legion Compound, the extreme emotions his blossoming relationship with Martin generates has changed everything. Merlin can no longer subdue his inner shade, which is a beacon to other members of Kurai Senshi.
Fast-paced action, along with wonderful vibrant characters, make for an enjoyable page-turner. I love the fact that the author has now introduced a whole new group of paranormals into the mix. With sparkly vampires, shifters, sorcerers and now dark vampires, the fun has just begun! Merlin’s story was amazing and I’ve a feeling the psycho-munitions expert, Viper, may have a story coming soon. I’m also interested in hearing more from both the Dark Warriors of Dayton and the aristocrats of Cleveland. Who knew Ohio was so interesting? Highly Recommended!

Sweet story idea but don't like the cliffhanger ending.

Another outstanding book in the series. The Legion will be facing their most dangerous enemy, yet the ending will definitely be surprising. True mates will be found and possibly lost, while new friends will to light. Never a dull moment within the story. Be prepared for tears and cheers.
