Terror Hordesman came. With flowers. Red roses. He came, he marked me, and he moved into my house. This is bad. Very bad. Because, I'm funding the Betaren project he's trying to destroy. If he finds out, I fear, he'll kill me.

Terror, the Alpha Omega Collector, is about to meet his match!

Rating: 4 stars
Steam: 4 flames
Genre: Sci-fi / Omegaverse Romance
*****
Oh what fun it is to be back with the Hordesman! Terror is the Omega Collector. He has mad Omega collecting skills, he can put them under his Alpha spell, trigger their heat, and get them to confess all their secrets. In walks Tabby.

Tabby has not declared herself an Omega. In fact, she is actually the money behind the Betaren drug that the Regha’s are trying to track down and destroy. What will happen when she comes face to face with Terror? Hmmm….hotness that is what will happen.

Terror needs information on the betaren project, so when an Omega walks into the Mayor’s old house demanding they all leave for her party, he smells a rat… or an Omega that is, one that is trying to hide herself. He uses his skills to get her to talk, and then promises he will show up with roses and service her if she goes into heat. Oopsie...he may have triggered Tabby’s heat. He tries to maintain his distance, he tries to maintain his professionalism but when a possessive Alpha meets HIS Omega...all bets are off.

I am loving how light hearted and fun this series is. I mean, yes, people still get their arms ripped off and beat with them (no really they do), and more often than not, there is a bloodbath in the story...but it is still such a sexy, hotttttt, entertaining read. Great world building, each book can be read as a standalone (though it won’t be as much fun), and there are no crazy cliffhangers! There is an underlying arc...so keep that in mind. I am enjoying the heck out of these hordesmen and I will definitely recommend it to all my sci-fi romance lovers. A must read series in my opinion!

These alphas stay so alpha but with none of that misogynistic attitude. Appreciate that. Also, A KOREAN HEROINE?! I LOVE THAT SO MUCH! She was me. But way shorter. LOL

Also, idk if this is a spoiler, but Terror was suppose to transition and get new armor and they never explained why he didn’t?!

This is Terror aka Arkin aka Lovin's sons book....I know, right. Review over...read the book *laughs*...I kid, I kid. He's not quite the handful that his dad was, but he is highly amusing too. This group of Alpha's are some of the funniest guys I have ever read. I'm talking laugh out loud kinda funny. I know, I know, I have absolutely gushed about this group, but there is a scene in the book where they all act like overgrown children and I loved it. “The king slaps Loven and pushes his way through. Through the window, I watch Loven trip the king and mount the first hound he comes across. Then he waits for the others." So dang funny.

Ok, so now we get to the couple themselves. Terror is a collector and running things for a hot second. He and his Alphas are looking for the Betaren suppliers. Tabby aka Kitten is the tiny little spitfire that lives next door to the Mayors house. She makes quite the entrance with all her amusing demands. She cracks me up, let's be honest, this series is just funny, with all the characters being ott. Milana's sarcastic wit is one of my favorites....I think I probably say this in every review. Here’s a little quote....“You coming, or you gonna stare up my dress the whole time?” and there’s a lot more where that came from.

This was a safe read, no om or ow shenanigans. A funny af and really good ongoing storyline. An OTT and fiercely protective alpha, who is very sweet, thoughtful, brutally honest and naughty. With his equally naughty little spitfire omega. These two were hot, hot, hot af, complete with baby batter. I loved that we got to see quite a bit of our favorite characters, and some of their shenanigans. Love this world, just cannot get enough....ever.

This book is a new twist on the old alien romance plot but with omega-verse m/f. The first book in the series was new and different enough to be fun and intriguing, but this book just wasn't as enjoyable because of the plot. Secrets, betrayals and contrived melodrama is just not my cup of tea in a romance but I love them in mystery/thriller type books. This book was definitely a struggle to finish and that's with me skim-reading it.

3.75 - 4 stars

I really enjoy these stories. They're smutty, sweet, suspenseful, a little violent (battle scenes), and funny. These books are the second generation of the Alpha Horde series. So while I do believe this series can be read as standalones, you would get a lot more enjoyment and understanding of the characters if you started with the Horde series and then this series, the Hordesman. This one was good and I look forward to the next ones.

I love these green OTT Alphas and the fun, sarcasm and spicy dialogues with themselves and the earthly women.
I know I have to reread it.

The development of the couple was to spontaneous for me or maybe I missed it because I was so curious to find out about the Betaren treat and fuzzy to meet some old acquaintances from other books.

Overall Tabby has real strong qualities and Terror is a very patiently Alpha and I love the way the story goes.

As the second book in the series, the lack of introductory details is not as big of a detriment as it was in the first book. As long as the books are read in order, the second book follows the timeline that the first concluded near seamlessly.

Terror by Milana Jacks follows a young woman, Tabby, as she “attempts” to avoid the alien alphas that have taken over her planet. In the moment, this story is enjoyable to read as long as there is not a lot of thought put into the protagonist. Initially, she is written as a strong, feminine force that demands acknowledgment from those around her. The first time she comes into contact with her love interest, she enters a home encompassed by the Horde’s men and demands that they vacate so that she may throw a party on the premises. As the story progresses, it becomes obvious that this was not actually a smart choice on her behalf considering who would be attending the party. I do not want to give too many spoilers, so I will halt there and allow you to determine if I am being too harsh in that thought.

Why would a woman who has been through the loss that Tabby has been through put herself in such danger when she has taken such pains to avoid such a fate? She walked WILLINGLY and WITH VIGOR into the viper’s nest to DEMAND a place to throw her nineteenth birthday party?!? That action is not copacetic in the background information that the author gave for this character.

I may be delving too far into this thought… but that is kind of the point of a review, huh?

Despite all of these thoughts, I LOVED the chemistry between Terror and Tabby. They were incredibly easy to feel a kinship with and there were several moments in the book that drew an unwitting chuckle from this reader.

The author does a great job at introducing future book characters into her novels without detracting from the current story. This book introduced several characters that caught my attention, but the one that really excited me was a woman named Sidone. The next installment follows her story with another character that was introduced approximately halfway through Terror. Both characters were incredibly interesting, and the reader was given JUST ENOUGH details to get them hooked without drawing too much attention from Terror and Tabby’s story. I find this reminiscent of Sherilyn Kenyon or Kresley Cole’s work, as they are the queens of introducing characters flawlessly. These are two of my all-time FAVORITE authors and I cannot wait to delve into their respective series, but I digress from the story at hand.

I did enjoy this installment despite the little gripes that I had along the way. I do recommend this book, just don’t take the book too seriously.

Thanks for going through this lit vent sesh with us,

Great Series!

This is turning out to be a great series. My only objection is that this one was not quite long enough. I am in love with theses Hordesmen! Looking forward to Seer’s story!

Really enjoyed

As always this was an enjoyable read. Arkin and Tabby's chemistry was off the charts and the Betaren storyline was so good. I can see why an Omega would take the pills, they just want to be normal. I had a slight problem with this book which is why I gave 3 stars. The line that Black Omegas are a rare sighting was confusing to me. Why are Black Omegas rare but white, Korean, Mexican Omegas are not? What is it about black people that non black authors view is as "the other"? Black people are humans just as White, Koreans, and Mexicans are... So why would a black Omega be rare? This is why a lot of black people just stick to black authors because we are not made to feel like we are of part of the human race.. I'm really curious what the reasoning is for rare sightings of black Omegas? Is it genetic? Like it was never explained. This may seem like a small thing if you are not black, but to me it reinforces this idea that Black people are "different" and I'm wondering if the author knows any black people? She would see we aren't any different from any of the other races she writes about. Maybe she thinks black people don't read her books.. IDK.

Terror (Arkin)+Tabitha's story.

Honestly, this series isn't as hot as the Alpha series. That being said it was still funny, had loads of sarcasm, intrigue and sexy bits interspersed. I think my problem with the story was that Tabitha didn't lose her ever loving mind wanting to be fucked by Arkin except for the one scene, and that was still mild as compared to some of the most memorable scenes in the Alpha series.

I am looking forward to Sidone's book. I think I'd mentioned before in one of my other reviews for the Alpha series that I was interested in reading a book where the female was the Alpha.

Terror is a collector of omegas. Omegas are vital to the alphas of their race to survive. They are an alien race that has defeated and conquered Earth. They did this primarily for the sole purpose of breeding. Their race was dying. They needed breeders. Although Earth did not designate their people as alpha, beta or omega to this alien race it was apparent and they quickly sought out the valuable omegas.
The omegas did not want to be used as breeders and concocted a drug to mask their mating smell from the interlopers. The problem became not all the alpha males were fooled by the drug and as with any any drug, there were side effects for the humans.
Humans became addicted to the drugs. This was great for the drug producers but bad for the users. They experienced muscle cramps, sweats, nausea and headaches as their bodies withdrew from the drugs.
Collectors like Terror could still scent an omega even if they were taking the drug. Their scent was just “off.” And the drug was illegal. Now Terror had to find the producers and founders of this illegal operation.

Holy shit this is LAVA!!!
Steamy knotting goodness 🌶💯💯
Genesis 7:17. Lots of slick.
Short and fun read! I couldn’t put it down!
Omegaverse, no cheating, no underage.

Trigger Warning: dubious consent
(The alpha purr is a slick inducer!)

Dub-con is my guilty pleasure! But only when we(as readers) know that the hero needs the heroine more than air! And in this book, that’s what’s up😉

Would I re-read? HELL YAH!
I recommend it! I couldn’t put this book down from start to finish!

“What’s the magic word?”

“Pussy.”

I can’t 😂😂

Now onto the next book!

A story of Tabby and Terror

This is book two and it’s chaos. The Hordesmen are trying to restore order and find the unregistered omegas. Tabby is very young but adorable. Her nineteenth birthday is on its way and she has planned the ultimate party. However Melanie is absent and the party is supposed to be at her mansion. But wait Terror and his clan has taken over the mansion. Tabby makes her way into the mansion to confront the lead Hordesmen because she is not canceling her birthday party. Oh but Terror has something else in mind for the beautiful Tabby. Read On!

Terror and Tabby were fun to read. Tabby just walked right in and stole Terrors heart. The on going story of the Betarand and Omegas is getting more interesting. I loved that Terror/Arkiwas so conflicted about his feelings.

It is fun to read and watch as he succumbed to his baser instincts and "serviced" Tabby. I also enjoyed the interactions of the other Alphas plus Dreik( I'm sure this spelled wrong).

The heat level was 🔥🔥🔥🔥 for this one. Can't wait to read more of this series.

Fast paced confusion.

Reading this story I found myself re-reading sections so that I could understand what was happening in it. There isn't alot of back story so the reader is left wondering the how's and why's of what's happening. The characters in the book all have labels ex: hordesmen ,regha alphas, alphas ,omegas etc etc...I quickly lost track of who is what and how they got to be there. I can't say I was a fan of this novel , but who knows , maybe you will be .

So Good!

I loved the multi-cultural aspect of it. All the chicks shouldn't be just white girls, as if there isn't anyone else in existence. This second story in the series flowed more smoothly than Hunger, book 1 did. Maybe it was just the aspect of accepting the cultural workings of the Horde. It was completely fun to read, with a layer of humor I really enjoyed. I'm looking forward to reading the rest of the series and the three I own from the original series.

Just loving this series

Fantastic reading, I enjoy a good book that is filled with action, romance and laughs. The story line is really taking off now, where Terror, the Omega Collector, finds his one. Tabby has been trying to mask her scent by taking Betarin pills, and Terror tries to track those who make and supply them. Be warned, lots of poles get erected in this one (if you've read book one, you'll understand).

Every good woman needs a Terror in her life

Arkin is the leader of the Collectors, a role that he takes very seriously and has great pride in. But when he meets a feisty little omega he realizes he may be even out of his element. These two are both in for much more than they thought possible.

Bold, blunt, fun, funny...8-7-2020

One of my favorite lines in the book “purr for me” from an omega trying hide who she is, brilliant! The female character is a complete brat, one that makes me want to whip her parents/guardians! But even the brat makes me laugh, as does the special cookies and the password!

This was so perfect

It had enough Alpha, enough weak female to get you wishing for a strong partner. Enough strong female to get you happy that she’s not totally useless and has some power too. It. Was. Perfect.
