I received a free book and the opinions and views are my own. In this book you meet all five orders. Here you find out what Damien wants and why. We also get to meet Emma’s parents. I really enjoyed this book however the ending was a shocking surprise. A very good read. Would recommend this book to all.

Gateway to hell

It’s nice to get some questions answered. Was not expecting that ending and I’m so relieved there are more in the series. I’m loving the connection between the main characters and it’s nice to see characters who appear in the much later books.

Oh my sweet Baby J! Holly Robards must have the most devastatingly devious mind in order to write such eclectic twists into each scenario! On to the next book!

I just couldn’t get into this series. The characters are meh and the storyline just keeps dragging out. I haven’t laughed once and I just can’t.

My one and only critique (in each of your books) is just that you never know who the pov is. Sometimes you can figure it out the first page or so, but all it needs is a name at the top

interesting

Not sure how they all survived. Does that mean the others ones are still alive? Oh boy will they find them?

This is an action/adventure paranormal romance and what a book it is. Calan and Emma are placed in the midst of catastrophic circumstances that lead to a story full of action, danger, suspense and of course romance. While trying to help family keep safe, more evil awaits. These events threaten their relationship. I look forward to the next book in the series. Begin at the beginning and hopefully you will enjoy the series as much as I do.

A solid 4 to 4 1/2 star. I must say I really enjoyed this story. While I was confused with how the plot progressed in book 2, all the pieces begin to come together in book 3. I felt much more satisfied with the quality of interactions between Calan and Emma in this novel. The witty banter between Krysten, Travis and Krysten’s grandmother made me smile yet again. I enjoyed seeing hardcore party girl Krysten face off with bong boy Travis as he reads bodice ripper romance novels to grandma (using voices) as she knits! At times the dialogue was from different characters’ point of view which was hard to determine until you were well through a paragraph or two. I also felt that I understood the fine details of the story as well as their context having read all the novels in the series in order. There was a lot of suspense, romance, revelations as well as battle between the forces of dark and light. I must say I did not expect the novel to finish as it did. While it was somewhat satisfying in a weird HFN way, it really puts me on edge as I wait for the next book. I received an ARC from the author in exchange for an honest review.

I enjoyed the growing relationship between Calan and Emma. I’m glad to see them move forward. In this book though, Calan felt off in his character. I couldn’t pin why exactly, but it was there.
It was interesting to see the Masters enter the fray as well as Calan’s parents.
At times it was very confusing as to who was talking . I think there should’ve been clear identification.
I loved the banter between Krysten and Trevor!
And Trevor reading to grandma even with voices! That was hilarious,
I am very much looking forward to where this story is going!

The third book in Emma and Calan's heart pounding tale, full of intrigue and suspense. There is a new threat to the world and Emma and Calan and their core of family and friends are smack dab in the middle of a looming catastrophe. More danger and evil awaits, ready to tear these two lovers apart. Excellent storytelling! I will be waiting on the next exciting installment!

Damien is the most... I am not sure what to say about him. Evil? yes. Devious? yes. But, is there something in his madness? What does he know that makes him so sure about the future and the truth of the orders? Emma and Calan are struggling with family, friends and enemies and their strength in themselves in tested to the breaking point.
