Visually rich and inspiring + helpful tools and formulas to mix patterns. I’m excited to experiment in my own home.
My only complaint is that some of the photos are too tight and dense, so it was hard to enjoy and analyze the combinations.

Bloom Wild is full of ideas using about 7 million blooms on fabric, paintings, wallpaper, china,bric-a-brac, and actual real flowers. Every page is a color explosion and pattern maximum but in the prettiest of ways. The how to of mixing disparate patterns is clearly explained. There is also instruction on how to take up an artist brush to create art on one's own . This is a book to linger with while drinking fragnent tea sitting in your flower garden planning for more blooms in your life.

This is a visually glorious book and--surprisingly--imparts very practical and logical information and insights into how to create stunning decorative combinations with floral patterns and materials. There's a lot in this book for both the right and the left brain. I'm in love with this unique and liberating, joyful, and authentic book.

Author explains the theory on mixing floral prints with lots of examples. The method is applicable to mixing prints in general. The photos are very pretty. I found the mix of colors can be sophisticated in jewel tones.

Pretty pictures but not much depth. The book felt like an advertisement for fabrics designed by the author.
