I am excited about putting my own thoughts in Lewis' journal. I have a twenty year old daughter and we discuss feminist issues in our regular life. I think this record of my thoughts and ideas is a great tool for these discussions that she can have for as long as she wants.

Lewis's signature illustrations are indeed fun and add a unique art twist to the subject of empowerment. I especially love the diversity in her sketches and the detail in the faces. It seems as if she paints everyone.

I’ve never read/filled out a list book before so this was interesting! It was a nice morning/afternoon alternative to being on my phone. However, I don’t know if this is just me or not, it felt kind of overwhelming to think of answers and fill out the lists. I did like the little bios that were beside all of the lists. I learned about a lot of different feminists and feminist groups that I hadn’t heard of before!
