**I would like to thank the amazing author of this book for giving me the opportunity to be able to read this book!**
This is the 3rd book in the Urban Mystic Academy series & picks up the story where we were left off at the end of the 2nd book. Brynn & her fellow UMA's along with their mentor Ms. Kelly are hard at work to save their missing friends/fellow UMA's & also trying to still find a way to end the Dark Witch's curse, or better yet the Dark Witch & her sister's untimely fate. We also get to meet some new important people, or find out others were not as they seemed from just the surface that may or may not surprise you!
I personally found this book another important piece of valuable information to help us understand (& Brynn & her friends of course) what exactly they're up against as well as other mysteries & secrets helping make sense of everything that's going on. I also found this book to be incredibly emotional, especially at the end had me completely blindsided (which is a good thing ;D) as I did not see that coming & now has me even more anxious & excited to continue the series & find out what happens now or will Brynn & her friends be able to find a way to help/figure out how to deal with their latest big blow.
I'm not going to lie, I'm having difficulty putting into words everything I'm feeling & thinking as I don't want to give away any spoilers & I'm still trying to process everything myself. I definitely would just have to tell you to read this series & find out how this series unfolds for yourself as I promise you won't regret it. This series is about so much more than just meets the eye. There are things that everyone will be able to connect & relate to in one way or another & find themselves drawn into Brynn's world routing for her in many more ways than just one. Jennifer McMahon has a way of making her characters feel so relatable & easy to connect to along with a story that makes it so hard to put down as you just can't wait to find out what's around each corner & how the story will play out. =]

But there's more going on than just their growing powers. Shane seems... disconnected, as if he isn't completely with Brynn and the others; as if something's missing. Having Laney the school's undisputed "queen of mean" on their cases and targeting Brynn on a daily basis is an added complication none of them need. Then Laney delivers an ultimatum that sends Brynn into a tailspin....
New challenges, new allies, new betrayals and old enemies... A riveting tale that grabs your attention and doesn't let go! Twists and turns that will leave you gasping!

Brynn is back and the stakes are higher this time around as Dom and Courtney must be rescued. Then there is the magic thing...The story was fun yet suspenseful with everything going on this time. I love how Brynn ends up finding more trouble. Loved what was revealed and discovered this time too. Just a good story as I tried to figure out what was going on and how it would all connect and what Brynn would end up being and doing at the end. Just another great UMA story.

Great story
I am enjoying the story. I just get very distracted by the errors. Editing isn't perfect for anyone, but many of the errors I found were very obvious and should have been caught. That is the only reason for the 4-star review. The story is great, though, so I'll continue reading to see what happens next.

Book 3: Done and 5 stars.

What a rollercoaster this was.
I was in tears and shock a view times ... omg...
