The Other Twin: The Murderer Killed Her Twin -- She'll Never Let Him Touch Her Daughter

Rate this book

“A cleverly written, chillingly realistic thriller.”–Beverly Barton

Sydney Macgregor remembers The Twin Killer all too well. Charles Eshey’s MO was preying on, kidnapping, and murdering one twin, leaving the surviving twin alone and haunted. Twenty years ago, he murdered Marla Macgregor, Sydney's twin sister.

Sydney’s testimony was what put him behind bars

But Sydney has managed to move on with her live. Recently divorced, she lives in an idyllic beachfront home where she raises her lovely young daughter Krista.

Then The Twin Killer is released from prison.

One by one, the children of the surviving twins disappear.

I won’t let you hurt me again, Sydney vows.

To protect herself and Krista, Sydney matches wits with The Twin Killer, delving into his twisted mind, figuring out what he’s doing, going after him in a dangerous game to uncover the truth.

The terrible risk Sydney takes will either uncover the truth or leave Sydney and Krista more exposed than ever in their lovely home on the beach.

Exciting Thriller

Great thriller. It kept me guessing until the end! Lots of edge of your seat action. Great characters all the way around. Anxious to read more by this author.

Good book, but the editing left a whole lot to be desired. I wanted to take a red pen to it. Switch of pronounces in the same sentence she/his. Several typographical errors that were catchable only if read. Sometimes spell check just isn't enough.

Great story line, I just couldn't get over the constant grammatical errors in this book! Throughout the whole book, you'd find words left out of sentences, the name Charles being nicknamed Charlie on one line, and then Charley on the next, and several errors that should have been at least caught by an editor. Aside from that, good book!

POSITIVE:
A page turner book. There's a lot of twists that I never expected to happen. I'm a great fan of twists and crime books that make you think who killed who, it feels that you are with them also trying to solve the case. I love the book it really keeps me interested until the end. I would definitely read and buy other books written by Hunter Morgan.

NEGATIVE:
There were some loopholes in the story that keeps me hanging and needed some further explanation
There were minor typo errors

The premise of this book was excellent but I found very few of the characters likable enough to root for ( except for the two F.B.I agents). The main character,Sydney, was okay but most of the others were so self-centered that I didn't really care if the killer got them! I was actually hoping the bratty teenage daughter would be the next victim, she was so snotty and annoying!!! A good read, but not a great one.

Good mystery book - seems predictable, but as always there's a twist. Ending was decent, could have been better though. Overall a good, quick read.
