Dark Prisoner
Dr. Ana Remley is the head biological therapist to a massive secret research facility below ground on a terraformed world. The facility houses (or rather, imprisons) some of the most dangerous of extraterrestrial life.
The deadliest goes only by Xeres. A lethal alien that looks more demon than man; captured from a hellish world and imprisoned in a state of the art holding cell.
But Xeres is more intelligent than they could possibly imagine. Ana discovers he has learned something about her. Something she had hoped to keep hidden.
And now he wants her.
He promises to escape his cell. And when he does, he will come for her.
Ana can try to flee. But once captured, it is game over.
