Not everyone needs a reason to kill... sometimes people are born with evil in them. Meet Jeremiah Lewis, pegged the Silent Killer with over 100 “proven” murders under his belt. Get ready to enter the mind of a Serial Killer... Brace yourself! ... “When I was 5 and I saw the fear in my first victim’s eyes... I knew this was what I was destined to do. I found joy in watching the life leave the poor animal’s body. I found peace... I found myself! I am Jeremiah & this is the Portrait of a Serial Killer!”
Jeremiah is the absolute, most insane, deranged, psychopath I have everrrrrrrrrr read about. This book was a lot but if you’re a fan of crime stories and thrillers, you’ll love it. The unaliving scenes were VERY descriptive so this is not for the faint hearted. I couldn’t stop reading however. Major cliffhanger that has me looking forward to the continuation of his story.
The descriptive way this story told of Jeremiah and his crimes had me feeling this was a true crime story. Jeremiah's evil nature became worse as the gruesome crimes were discussion. Lundy's obsession to end Jeremiah kept me reading and has me looking forward to next part
This book had the potential to be so much more! I'll let the poor editing and typos slip past and I'll even let words like "scroll" instead of "stroll" that were used multiple times receive a pass. What I have a problem with is an author's memory lapse go. Please tell me how IJ committed suicide after the bus incident and his girlfriend's murder help Lundy AFTER Jeremiah left town to assist his father? Come on!!! I would have given five stars at the author's foray into one of my favorite genres of not for that.
Niki has done it again with book 2 in this series. I mean the cliffhanger at the end makes you want to pick up each book and read them all asap! This story about Jeremiah shows truly how unruly people can be in this world for no reason. Be cautious as you take a deep dive into the mind of a killer.
I thought it was ok. I confused like how many times did Ivan jr. Died. First he was in the lake then he committed suicide and he was still alive at the end of the book
When I started this book, I didnt think I would be able to finish. Well, I did and was shocked what one person can do. I'm not going to give it away, but read it for yourself. You'll be hooked, suprised, sad. Your emotions will be all over the place.
I didn’t leave a review for Book 1 but I gotta now. This Book 2 is a trip as Book 1. I am so glad I stumbled across Ms Niki Jilvontae! I am now a fan. Ok, on to Book 3. I am soooo excited!!
Great storyline and characters, definitely worth reading the rest of the series. Jeremiah is one strange character that needs to be stopped, this book kept me on the edge of my seat, a must read!
This was a gory and creepy serial killer thriller for sure. Jeremiah is the one person you never want to cross paths with in life if you can help it. This author's mind is crazy. I enjoyed it.
From the first page I was hook..I swear this book stop my breathes a few times. What happens when a Devil is let's loose, an kills for fun.what happens when A lawyer lose his family to take him down!..most of all what happens when THE PHYSIO ESCAPES WHEN HE IS SENTENCE!!.an comes after ALL WHO FELT BETRAYED HIM...I'll tell u IT....Nope!.Wanna find out ONE CLICK THIS CHILLER THRILLER!..I swear it will have u BREATHLESS!😬
From the first page I was curious and engrossed because I knew this Author unique style of writing and everything she pens is never a disappointment. If you like horror movie's or always intrigued about how and why people become evil and do the thing's they do. This is the book for you. Jeremiah was a heartless, manipulative, evil man without a soul. He may have grew up with a family that tried to love him beyond measure but he was the son of Satan. The moment he was was brought into this world. His own mother knew she birth the devil before she passed on. With all that he has done. He didn't have a care in the world. He left a deadly trail wherever he went. Sadly even the Prosecutor Lundy seemed fascinated by Jeremiah and wondered what made him turn into the monster he was. Lundy also had his own demons he was battling. I believe he was fighting his good versus evil side. Anastasia survived a horrific events but something evil seems to be lurking with her. She was already a little crazy before tragedy struck. The way this ended have me ready to see if Jeremiah about to continue on his path of destruction, Will Lundy cross over, and Will Anastasia get her own brand of justice or will she end up being worst than the man who caused her harm. I'm looking forward to part two.

"Portrait of a Serial Killer Jeremiah" by Niki Jilvontae
My Rationalization:
I will say this was a hard read for me in what was going on but I kept reading to see how this 'heartless, manipulative, evil person' could live with himself after all he had done. I definitely agree Jeremiah was definitely the 'son of satan.' The story even gets more involved as we see the prosecutor Lundy was so interested in wanting to know what made Jeremiah turn into the horrible person he was. Why did he want to know so much more about Jeremiah? Was it due to what was going on in his life? Then we also see Anastasia who had survived quite a horrible deal with Jeremiah and lived to tell about it, however, one could feel she had something up her sleeve that was just waiting to come out for him.
The way the story ends [in a cliffhanger] you can tell that there will be more to come from Jeremiah, Lundy, and Anastasia in this horrific horror story in part two. One thing that was for sure and that was that title: "Portrait of a Serial Killer Jeremiah" was right on the mark for what this story was truly about!
This story was everything and I cannot wait to read the next installment. Jeremiah is cruel, meticulous in his method of capture, relentless in his methods of torture and brilliantly calculating. To commit and get away with more than 300 murders is unsettling. I cannot help but to wonder what more there is to Jeremiah? What still happen to prosecutor Lundy? How will he resolve his ongoing issues with Mia? Will prosecutor Lundy come out on top or another casualty? Is Anastasia really all she seems to be? She went from needing a walker to running in a court ready for war!!!! Those two pictures don't link up. I hope the follow up isn't far behind, I'm on pins and needles waiting!!!!
listen, this book was so good. It pulled me in from beginning to the end. Every emotion possible I felt as Jeremiah went on his killing spree. I've never been so mad with a character in my life. Niki definitely knows how to get you to that point with her visuals of the scenes she write. The scene with Kenji sisters is the one that really hurt my heart. Jeremiah is beyond cruel. With Lundy's obsession with Jeremiah I thought he would have turn into Jeremiah himself, especially when it came to his ex wife. That ending was just jaw dropping. I really don't believe Niki did this to me. I can't wait to see what happens next.
This book had me very emotional. From the first kill til the end. Jeremiah is a sick individual. The type of evil that possess Jeremiah is undescribeable. How could you do this to me Niki Jilvontae now I'm on pins and needles waiting for the conclusion.
That was a horror movie, well written, I felt everything. I was the victim and the victims family. My heart still beating fast. I hope he get tortured just like everyone he killed. I never hated anyone but dang, I wish bad stuff on him.
this was an amazing book. I had to take breaks because this dude was disturbing my mental. Sad part it's people in the world like him and it's nothing to help these people. Love the book great read.
This is my first time reading anything by this author, and she didn't disappoint me. I enjoyed reading this book from the first page I was drawn in. When you thought it was about to get tedious something else happen.
Niki has outdone herself with this book. Jeremiah was a real monster. I’m gonna have both DAYmares and nightmares behind this descriptive read. Phenomenal job Niki.
