Oil and water. Fire and ice. Terran space marine and rugged alien warrior.

Space marine Lieutenant Jamie Park has a reputation as tough as steel...just the way she likes it. A horrible childhood and her marine training have forged her into a strong woman, and she's never seen a fight she'd back down from. Taking on the voracious insectoid Kantos is her focus, even if that means being assigned to the Eon warship, the Desteron, and working with the one arrogant alien warrior who's seen her vulnerable and weak.

Medical Commander Aydin Kann-Ath lives to be the perfect warrior and doctor. All his life, he's worked to restore his family's tarnished honor. He has no room in his life for anything but his work, and that includes a headstrong, battle-hardened Terran who -- even when injured -- refuses to follow orders. Yet every minute he spends with Jamie, she ignites both his temper and his desire, and he can't seem to stay away.

With every interaction, Aydin finds himself fascinated by Jamie's courage and spirit, and Jamie finds herself consumed by a fiery attraction that terrifies her. On a dangerous hunt to find symbiont lifeforms that have been stolen by the Kantos, the pair can't ignore their passionate connection. But the evil Kantos threaten not only their lives, but the fate of the galaxy, unless Jamie and Aydin sacrifice it all to stop them.

Mark of Eon is book five in the Eon Warriors series by Anna Hackett. It’s an action-packed, humors, and romantic read. You will be swept away into a galaxy far away!

Aydin Kann-Ath is an Eon Medical Commander on the Desteron. He’s a healer and a warrior. He’s obsessed with brining honor back to the family name.

Jamie Park is a Space Marine Lieutenant and assigned to the Desteron. She enjoys learning new skills from the Eon Warriors, but has trust issues.

I love the action and world building. We are off on another adventure that involves the evil Kratos. Jamie and Aydin team up on a rescue mission and find themselves isolated from their ship which adds to the suspense and tension.

The romance is hot and heavy. Their a great couple and Aydin shows Janie it’s ok to trust and to love.

Mark of Eon has a bunch of action with great chemistry. I enjoyed reading and can’t wait for more in the Eon Warriors series.

As part of the Eon Empire/Terran alliance, Terran and Eon warriors are to train together in order to strengthen their bond and efforts in approaching the Kantos invasion that threatens Earth.

Space Marine Lieutenant Jamie Park is to be assigned to the Eon warship Desteron though not voluntarily. Nothing can convince her that she'll learn new skills or fighting techniques from alien warriors who don't feel that women are their equals on the battlefield. On the other hand, maybe she can teach them a few new tricks when they see that she's just as good, if not better, than any Eon warrior, especially the Desteron's Medical Commander Aydin Kann. A regular PITA male.

* * * *

This is the fifth installment in the "Eon Warrior" series that can be read as a standalone. Of course reading the previous installments will heighten a reader's enjoyment and appreciation of the world building and overall plot series, but it's not a dealbreaker. In short, up to this point, alien insectoid bugs have tried to swarm and devoir Earth but are being repelled because of the Eon warriors. Forging an alliance with the Eon Empire was a game changer though the Kantos are still trying to find a weakness into Earth's defenses. Of course each installment results in a Eon Warrior/Terran female mating so it's not a spoiler another couple will here too.

Jamie & Aydin were briefly featured in a previous installment. Their end result is Jamie detests Aydin and vice versa. They are the oil and vinegar couple of couples and we all know what happens when that's the premise. The two get down and dirty with each other in the most physical of ways early on and fight the rest of the story that it's nothing more than sex. Lots and lots of sex.

Secondary characters. Some old, some new. The set up for the next couple to be featured in the series is introduced but I'm going to make it loud and clear that I would have preferred to see Gayel have his turn. GAYEL !!!!!!!! You hear me author: G-A-Y-E-L ........

I'm going to add a tidbit for those who look for a strong female lead character in their story. This one has that in spades. Jamie is a girl who has baggage and history with the result that she has a hard as nails shell. She has the attitude and skills to play with the big boys (fellow marines and warriors) and win. Does that mean she becomes submissive under the sheets? Guess you'll have to read this book to find out. lol.

A few missteps, follow up detail voids, and cheesy scenes gave me pause but the totality of the story left me with that gratifying happy smile a reader gets at the end of a good satisfying book.

Enjoyable story in the series that has me once again a fan of this author. I'm just crossing my fingers that this series doesn't jump the shark on me.

Mark of Eon is the fifth book in the Eon Warriors series and what a ride this Sci Fi romance is. I love that Anna can write any genre and still make a great story for readers to get lost in. I have read a lot of her books and can say I have enjoyed each and every one.

Someone is sabotaging their ships helions to stop the alliance between Eon and Earth what they find is more than they bargained for. What ensues is an action-packed fun tale.

It was good to re-read this series and I enjoyed it just as much as the first time.

Good ,very good...... I just wish there was more to it....

Good ,very good...... I just wish there was more to it....
I like this I really do but I just wish there was more to this
More depth, more layers, more to the characters.
You can’t call this basic. No you can’t .
But there isn’t a lot to these characters either, or the plot.
I love Anna I really do. I feel like a jerk complaining but it feels like there is just enough attitude and development to establish the characters a their motivations and then lots of fighting w/each other and then with whoever their enemy is,then some sexy times . Then rinse and repeat til it’s over.
I don’t like it when a story feels formulaic. Like I know what’s gong to happen next. Like there are no surprises.
But so far it feels like every series has a pattern.and while I admire Ms.Hackett and her writing and her as a person,I need more.
I always feel like I’ve barely gotten to know the characters and who they are and what they are and what they are capable of,when I can see the story winding down and coming to an end.
Too many have the length of a book but the depth and development of a noveella and for such and imaginative, talented, creative and hard working writer,it’s just disappointing.
I like her work too much to stay away. I just wish there was more to stay for.

Would I recommend? Of course I would!
Ms.Hackett does deliver a solid read. It just could be soo much more than it is.
At least that’s how I feel.
Jamie and Aydin are great together but if you’ve read the others before this ,well
You’ll know what to expect .
All I can say is Jamie was easier than the Traynor sisters in some ways.

Mark of Eon was another great addition to the series. No matter how long it’s been between each books release and my reading them, I’m always able to quickly jump back into this world and feel like I’ve never left. This time around we get Terran Jamie’s story who unknowing meets and verbally spars with her future Eon Warrior when she winds up in his medical unit. The battle against their shared enemy the Kantos continues. Jamie and Aydin are teamed up on a few missions to infiltrate Kantos research centers and free any helians (a symbiotic worm like being that bonds with the Eon Warriors) they may find. The sexual tension is high between the two but Jamie is nothing if not stubborn. Jamie strives to be a badass warrior in her own right and after a horrible childhood the last thing she wants is to be beholden to anyone let alone a warrior. Both are strong willed and determined so they butt heads quite often, but Jamie quickly becomes Aydins weakness and she has many wins lol. I really enjoy these stories even if they are super quick reads. I’m looking forward to where the overall story will lead because they really need to destroy these Kantos. They’re bugs themselves and all they seem to manufacture are creepier and grosser bugs in every book, they’ve just got to go. I can’t imagine how horrible it’d be should they get to Earth 😱 Great addition to the series, can’t wait for whats next.

Blurb :

My review :

When a vexing space marine clashes will with a stubborn medical, sparks fly and sheets ignite....

These Eon Warriors stories are candy for my brain, I love those stronger than life heroines and their yummy other half always falling hard for them.
Jammie’s job is a reason to breath and live, she is all devoted to her career, having in a way found there the family she never had. Yet, she lets no one close, avoiding all entanglement.
Aydin is following a similar path, with his dedication to his job to restaure his family’s name. So a relationship is not in his agenda.
Yet, whatever they have planned or not, their sizzling attraction drives them together, and even Jammie’s bullheadedness and Aydin’s protectiveness can’t tear them apart.
A fun fast paced and full of actions read.

This book was very different to previous offerings in this series and honestly I really enjoyed it. I’m used to the über macho Eon Warriors that this author gives us so it was a rare treat to see this Eon doctor fall very hard and fast for Jamie, a Space Marine with severe trust issues. Yes she’s the badass one, damaged by her past and absolutely determined to be the very best she can be. Yet this time the author not only gave us a spicy romance but showed that the human body is frail, no matter how tough or honed we are still fragile. Plus Aydin with all his knowledge and technology had to come to terms with not always being able to control events. I have criticised the symbiotic relationships in previous reviews because occasionally they do something that is absolutely preposterous and for me unbelievable but this time it wasn’t over the top and indeed supporting characters helped move the action along. Except hot and heavy romance that’s lightning fast, action, humour and to be swept away to a galaxy that might not be too far away !
This voluntary take is of an advanced copy and my thoughts and comments are honest and I believe fair

It’s all pretty repetitive by this point. I’m at the point where I’m kind of skimming through the “action” because it’s the same: fighting the bad guys, almost getting captured and/or killed by the bad guys, sharing helians when the mating bond kicks in. Not much changes from book to book except for the names of the couple. But I am curious to finish the series and see how the Kantos are defeated. Plus, I am interested in the other alien race who appear to be yet another ally for Eon and Terran. So that should be fun.

Space marine Lieutenant Jamie Park and Eon Medical Commander Aydin Kann-Ath are like oil and water when they first meet and these two set off sparks throughout the entire book. Lots of fire and lots of chemistry with a bunch of action thrown in. I'm getting really curious as to how the Eon and Terrans will defeat the Kantos.

Humans and aliens, man. LOVE 'EM TOGETHER. The fact they're joining forces to defeat some really awful aliens bent on wide scale destruction AND finding their special someone doing it makes me grin. Seriously. Humans and aliens. LOVE 'EM TOGETHER!

This time around, we have Jamie and Aydin. They're both insanely focused and dedicated to their respective jobs and they throw sparks whenever they're close. Not that they give in easily to those sparks. Jamie doesn't let her guard down easily and Aydin is determined to bring honor to his family by being the BEST medical commander he can be. Which, CLEARLY, leaves no time for romance.

Except, they keep getting thrown together and those encounters chip away at the barriers they've put up until they can't help but give in to all the steam.

Throw in a dangerous situation or two, seemingly impossible odds, and two people who are willing to give everything to a cause (whether it's of the romantic variety or the saving their people variety) and we have a boatload of fun. Well, fun and more than a few tense moments. And sexy moments. GOOD STUFF.

The Eon Warriors series is exactly the kind of space opera type of science fiction romance that got me hooked on SFR in general and Anna Hackett in particular. My first Anna Hackett book was At Star’s End, the first in her Phoenix Adventures series, and I think I’ve read everything since. If I’ve missed one or two, I certainly haven’t missed much.

But they’ve been all over the SFR map. Hell Squad is post-apocalyptic, Galactic Gladiators is wormholes and rescued captives, Team 52 is Earthbound Stargate. They’ve all been fun, but I’d really been jonesing for more space opera when the Eon Warriors burst onto the SFR scene with Edge of Eon. And I was hooked all over again.

The first three books in the series, Edge of Eon, Touch of Eon and Heart of Eon form a strong unit. They’re almost a single story in the way that the action follows the Traynor sisters of Earth who have been coerced/convinced/strong-armed into doing some really stupid things to people and places in the Eon Empire out of a truly desperate need to get the Eons’ attention.

That Earth needs to be that desperate because they really, seriously, totally and completely screwed the pooch in Earth’s first contact with Eons is kind of icing on the cake. Humans and their phobias can turn us into serious assholes – and that’s pretty much what happened.

The Eons and the humans have a mutual enemy – the insectoid Kratos. (Someday I want to find out that the Kratos and the Gizzida – the enemies in Hell Squad – are cousins or something. Let’s just say there’s a serious family resemblance.)

The enemy of my enemy is my friend – or at least my ally. The humans, after all, were merely assholes to the Eons. The Kratos want to conquer and destroy. Assholishness definitely takes a back seat to that.

Notice I’m not saying that the Kratos are evil per se. For that matter neither are the Gizzida as a race. They are both acting out their species imperatives. It’s just that our species imperative – and that of the Eons – is diametrically opposed to theirs.

So, in the name of fighting that common enemy, the Eons and the humans have banded together for mutual aid. The humans needs the Eons a lot more than the Eons need the humans, or so it appears on the surface.

But the humans are used to fighting against enemies who are bigger, stronger, more technologically advanced and better equipped than they are – problems that the Eons haven’t faced in millennia, if at all.

And there’s just something about humans – something that hasn’t been studied yet but hopefully will be. Eons are only fertile with their true – or fated – mates – or in a test tube. They’ve been increasingly going the test tube route because they’ve been decreasingly finding their true mates. Until those pesky Traynor sisters got involved, proving that Eons can EASILY find their mates among the human population.

And that’s where we are in Mark of Eon. The Eons and the Terran Space Marines are conducting joint operations and officer exchanges, figuring out a way to work together to take the fight to their mutual foe.

Along the way, some individual Eon Warriors and some individual Space Marines keep discovering that, while they are all far from perfect, they can be perfect for each other.

“These are their stories…”

Escape Rating B: I couldn’t resist that tagline. It just fit.

But seriously, now that all three Traynor sisters have found their mates among the Eon Warriors, the romantic action of the series has moved to the officers and crew of the Terran space fleet as they cross-train with the Eon Warriors.

A pattern has emerged in this series, as often does in a long-running series. Each story has two elements, one from the overall arc and one the individual romance.

Taking the battle to the Kratos – or at least trying to advance that initiative, is the focus of the overall arc. The Kratos are as determined and seemingly as advanced as the Eons, so that arc moves one step forward and two steps back – or the other way around – in each book. And there’s always a scene where the hero and heroine are directly in danger from the Kratos and isolated from their ship and crew to add to the tension.

The romantic pairings have generally focused on two scarred people who make each other strong in their broken places. In the case of Terran Jamie Park and Eon Warrior and Medical Commander Aydin Kann-Ath, it’s a romance between two people who have never felt like they’ve been enough and have a difficult time believing that each might be enough for the other.

I enjoyed reading Mark of Eon, just as I have pretty much everything Anna Hackett has written. Because it hews so closely to a formula that has become a bit obvious, it qualified as good mind candy for me but didn’t rise to the stellar level as the first books in this series did.

But I can always be in the mood for good mind candy, and the Eon Warriors are definitely that – probably excellent eye candy as well. I’ll certainly be back for the next entry in this series – and anything else this author wants to send my way!

UPDATE:
I purchased the audiobook for MARK OF EON on a recent Sale and am listening (and rereading titles I haven’t yet purchased audios) through the series again. I love Space Opera but unfortunately most have a lot of strong language/blasphemy and quite descriptive Sexy scenes - as is the case here. I usually skim over such parts but it’s a bit more tedious with audio and the language is still there. Vivienne Leheny did a pretty good job, but I may stick with the books for the other titles.

ORIGINAL POST:
4 Stars for MARK OF EON, bk #5 (of 9) - a Space Opera Romance novel by Anna Hackett.

MY RATING GUIDE: 1= dnf/What was that?; 2= Nope, not for me; 3= This was okay; 3.5= I mostly enjoyed this; 4= Yes, I LIKED THIS A LOT; 5= I Loved it, it was great! (I seldom give 5 Stars).

FMC/Space Marine Lt Jamie Clark, tough, fit, and dangerous, continually proved herself until she earned the right to serve on earth’s most advanced experimental warship, the Divergent. Due to a new alliance between earth and the EON king, a series of cooperative training exercises between earth’s Space Marine Corp and select EON warriors was arranged. As the Divergent’s leading Space Marine and head trainer, Jamie was ordered to partake in the training exercise which would occur on and in the air space surrounding EON’s warship, the Desteron. While the training commences, the EON leadership hears rumors of the whereabouts of their stolen helian (a symbiotic organic crystal life form) which have been hidden in a science lab situated deep inside Kantos space. The Kantos are apparently testing, torturing, and killing the helian in experiments. Plans are quickly proposed. A raiding team of 2 will locate the lab, rescue the helian and return. But the Kantos have vast numbers and are not easily thwarted.

MMC/Aydin Kann-Ath is both EON Warrior and Desteron’s Medic Commander. He is also participating in the joint training sessions when the plans are discussed to infiltrate the Kantos lab. Due to his expert medical training and his knowledge regarding helian life-forms, Commander Aydin has been selected to team with Space Marine Lt Jamie to the attempt to rescue the missing helian.

The Eon series - the characters, settings, and story arc as imagined by Anna Hackett remind me a bit of the Star Trek: Next Gen combined with the OST program, which I loved. The tone in this series is light rather than dark. Both Anna’s male and (usually) female characters are strong, resilient, loyal and brave. Generally, the action moves quickly and I seldom get bored. I have already purchased the next books in the EON WARRIORS series and look forward to the next.

MARK OF EON can be read as a standalone title (with no cliffhanger ending) however an over-reaching story arc was begun in bk#1 which will continue throughout the series, plus book #1 is particularly fun. Readers who enjoy Action-Adventure Space Opera Romance (think Star Trek with added steamy scenes & strong language) but are unfamiliar with Anna Hackett novels may wish to check out the Eon Warriors series or any of Anna Hackett’s other published series in Contemporary Suspense Romance, Dystopian Suspense Romance, or Space Opera genres. Treasure Hunter Security(Contemporary Action-Adventure Romance) and Phoenix Brothers Adventures (Space Opera Action-Adventure Romance) are 2 of my favorite series, with Galactic Gladiators and House of Rone Warriors (both Space Opera Romances), and TEAM 52 (Contemporary Action-Adventure Romance) tied for third.

**READER CAUTIONS - Not recommended to readers who prefer Clean fiction or YA readers.
VIOLENCE - Yes. PG-13. Sci-fi action and destruction. Think Star Trek.
PROFANITY - Yes. Strong language is used quite frequently.
SEXUAL SITUATIONS- Yes. The 2 main characters met in the previous book, are attracted to each other, and interest & Steam begins to brew rather early in this novel. ~ 20% or so, and more (Mating Fever). Some fade out but not always.

If you like the formula of Anna's other novels then this should be for you. The usual fast paced storyline filled with action and steamy moments that create a fun and easy read.
Aydin had already caught my attention in the previous book and I was looking forward to seeing his story. His interactions with Jamie were fun and they definitely sparked off each other. To be honest I could have waited a bit longer before they got together just to see more of their feisty dialogue with one another. There were fun throwbacks to couples from the previous stories and the promise of new ones, in particular the Oronis warrior was definitely intriguing. I have to admit though, I think Cutie stole it for me. I definitely have a soft spot for alien pets it would seem!

Good storyline. I hate when Aydin goes into idiot mode, it just pisses me off. Loved Cutie & Shaggy scenes.
Aydin IS an idiot, he keeps trying to protect Jamie even though she is an EXPERIENCED, SKILLED warrior just like he is but just because she's female & from Earth, he thinks he has to protect her. IDIOT!!!!
I don't think Jamie should have forgiven him but due to hormones & this being a fictional book, she gives in like every other books I have read. It's sooooo annoying when women have to give into males just because of hormones. I'm glad in real life this doesn't happen to every women but still annoying when I read it happening.

Lieutenant Jamie Park was born to drug-addicted parents, who used to drug her as a child to keep her subdued. She was finally shifted into the foster care system, living in several different homes. She doesn’t know what it is like to be loved. She had never experienced being a part of a family until she joins the military—and finds her family. Medical Commander Aydin Kann-Ath is trying to redeem his family’s honor. His grandfather was a warrior, but his father was a cheater and a wastrel, and Aydin and his brother and sisters suffered when friends deserted them and their family name is tarnished by his actions. Aydin has been working his whole life to redeem his family’s honor.

When Jaime is horribly injured saving her commanding officer, Aydin is the one who helps her heal and who stays with her when she is feeling vulnerable. Because he has seen Jamie at her weakest, she feels ashamed, and she doesn’t want to accept the assignment to cross-train Eon warriors, knowing Aydin will be nearby. She has no choice, and finally accepts the inevitable. Jamie is a tough warrior, but so is Aydin. It turns out that they make a good team, and they get sent on a couple of risky missions to rescue stolen helions that are being abused. Helions are an important part of an Eon warrior’s identity, as they merge with the warriors and add strengths and abilities.

These two characters are brave and loyal and they encounter some horribly uneven odds at times. They are unafraid to face death, and accept it as inevitable a couple of times in the story. This adds poignancy to the story and more depth at times. As with many Anna Hackett stories, the protagonists are tested and stretched to their limits. These characters have to dig deep to find the strength to keep fighting when it would be easier to give up. The odds are almost impossible at times, but inevitably, there is help to be found when things look bleakest.

Anna Hackett has a scary and incredible imagination. Some of the aliens she describes are like having your worst nightmares come to life on steroids! The worlds that she creates in this series are filled with people, aliens, technology, and things that are at times amazing, and at other times very scary and dangerous. Be prepared to experience suspense, danger, sexy times, and amazing escapes—always perfectly timed.

ACTION - ADVENTURE - DANGER & FIERY ROMANCE

"Mark Of Eon" has loads of spine-chilling action, witty banter, fantastic character interaction, vivid scene descriptions that wow you, life-threatening moments, heart-tugging moments, fiery intense romance, and a perfect happy forever ending.

Space Marine Jamie Park is a tough shell to crack. She's intelligent, attractive, and a strong opponent in a fight. Her childhood was one of pain, and trust does not come easy to her. The hot Eon Warrior Medical Commander Aydin Kann-Ath strives to be the best doctor in the Eon fleet. He has no time for female distractions, but fiery desires swirl in his belly whenever Jamie is near. Jamie and Aydin go on missions to secure the powerful Eon Helians stolen by the evil Kantos. The Kantos want to destroy everyone in their path. Jamie and Aydin's journey to their happy forever is a wild rollercoaster ride.

Fantastic powerful well-written read. I loved the witty banter between Aydin and Jamie. Their true love romance is convincing, and they have fun together too. You get to meet a new furry creature who is full of surprises. The author does a wonderful job showing that a scarred past does not define you. I relished this story, and look forward to the next Eon adventure. {I received a pre-release copy of this story via the author and reviewed on a volunteer basis.}

Oil and Water and Fire and Ice indeed, but it spices up life.

Lieutenant Jamie Park is one bad a** woman, and she's not going to take anything for granted or look for the easy way out. When Jamie assigned to the Eon Warship, she only wants one thing, to prove to the woman are not to be cuddled but respected. But right from the start, she's tested to her limits. With time running out on an Eon Warship, she places herself in danger and her very life, and others, including the Eon Warriors, must let a woman save them even know it goes against their very soul.
Medical Commander Adin Kann-Ath only wants to restore his family name and honor and is in no way looking for a mate. Fate has another thing coming when Lieutenant Jamie Park boards their Warship to help them all from suffering a fate of death. As he watches a small human female does the imposable and goes through a gauntlet of safety features, to protect the Warship, his longing for her becomes impossible to ignore. As he watches agonizing over her struggles to reach them, he becomes more and more impressed with her skills.
Lieutenant Jamie Park and Medical Commander Adin Kann-Ath must find a way to coexist with each other, for they both are worthy of their titles and each other love.
Mark of Eon book 5 is another excellent addition to the Eon Warriors series, and I look forward to more.

THIS WAS DEFINITELY ACTION PACKED THAT SOMETIMES IT GOT A BIT TOO REPETITIVE...AT MOMENTS I WAS LIKE 'NOT AGAIN?! THEY BARELY EVEN RECOVERED FROM THE LAST SURPRISE ATTACK'. THE STORY DEFINITELY HAD A TREASURE ISLAND MEETS JUMANJI, MEETS JURASSIC PARK KIND OF FEEL.

COMMANDER DAVION was kidnapped by a female Earthling. The big bad war commander finally had a black mark on his record and it wasn't something he'll ever let his men know, disarmed and knocked out while he was naked by a smaller female. That was enough for me to be invested. Davion and Eve's chemistry was off the charts, they hit of well but close to being insta love. Their first kiss hit me like a ton of bricks because I knew their attraction was building but the kiss was too sudden I can't believe I'm complaining. Eve was a kick-ass Space Corps agent who was blackmailed to kidnap the commander in order to save her sisters and also Earth from the Kantos, the insect alien enemy. She's also ballsy and a ball of energy that just seemed perfect for Davion.

OVERALL while I enjoyed the story and how adventurous/action packed it was, I can't help but feel that something was missing to the story enough for me to read it word for word. To be honest, I skimmed the boring parts and only read the good parts.

Mark of Eon is the fifth book in the Eon Warriors series. Jamie hates showing anyone her weaknesses, but now she’s tasked to work close and personal with the one male she’s had to rely on. Aydin has worked his whole life to bring honor back to his family, but when he can’t ignore the connection to Jamie during a dangerous mission, will they have to face the ultimate sacrifice before they can face their feelings?

Wow, this book was amazing - action packed, full of passions and romance and so much drive, and I loved every second I spent reading! Jamie pushed while Aydin pulled and while both were determined and stubborn, I loved that they were able to prove to one another that love is worth fighting for! I think one of my favorite things about Jamie was not just how much of a fighter she was, but also how soft she could be when she allowed. Courageous, driven, and so brave, I loved how much of a little warrior she was, but I also loved how she needed to face her emotions, like love. Aydin was perfect for her, willing to push her, able to gain her trust, and gave just as good as he got. I liked that even though he was a doctor, he was just as much of a fighter, too! They made quite a team! I loved being in one of Ms. Hackett’s world again, seeing her imagination come to life, and I loved the way she was able to focus on danger just as much as the romance. This series has been fantastic so far, this book was a great addition, and I can’t wait to see what will come next!

I simply LOVE this series, and each additional book just gets better. The storyline is tight and, as usual, action-packed. The author does a fantastic job of fleshing out her characters, making them believable, and making us fall in love with them.

In this one we have Space Marine, Jamie Park and Medical Commander, Aydin Kann-Ath. They were thrown together in the last book when Jamie was critically injured. They have a very snarky and argumentative relationship based on both of their own personally described inadequacies and pasts. There is a lot to work through before they can come together.

We get to revisit old friends from the previous books and see quite a bit of Lara and Caze, as Jamie gets assigned to Caze's ship, the Desteron, where Aydin is the Medical Commander. Sparks, and insults fly, and the "game is on".

The Kantos have kidnapped an Eon spy, and some Helians - the alien species that bond with the Eon warriors. It's up to Jamie & Aydin to find them bring them home.

Great story with sexytimes, a fast, fun read!

I fall in love a new each time I read about Eon Warriors and their tough as nails Terran women !

This is the story of Jamie and Aydin. Jamie is a no nonsense space marine who had a cotton childhood, with terrible parents who taught her not to trust and to be vulnerable is a weakness. She does above her childhood and became a well respected marine that is now allied with the Eon warriors to stop the horrible Kantos from destroying any more worlds. Aydin is a tough Eon warrior and also one of the top medics in the Eon fleet. He too has some challenging past life experiences that push him to be the best and that failure is not an option! What happens when two of the most stubborn warriors to ever live meet! Fireworks that's what explosive action packed adventure, passion so hot 🔥you keep wishing for your own warrior to find you and claim you! I love these stories and this was an awesome addition to the series. I think 2020 will be an excellent year for Anna Hackett and all of her readers! 💖

Jamie makes steel look like a pliable material. She has trained her team to a fine tuned machine - now they've been split up to play "ar games" with the Eon. Jamie is NOT happy! Especially with a huge alien warrior and Doctor, Aydin. He saw her at her most vulnerable and she can't let him undermine her armoured exterior.

Aydin is desperate to restore the sheen to his family's reputation after his weak will father tarnished it. He is an exceptional warrior and Doctor, but will he ever achieve enough to make him realise that he is not his father?

Jamie by turns annoys the ever loving Havv out of him or triggers feelings of lust - he's just never very sure which feeling is going to win! When he and Jamie get sent on a two pwerson mission to recon an area where symbionts have been taken by the Kantos, the end up in a great big pile of space-poo. One that not even these indominitable warriors might be able to get free of!

Stobborn, Sexy, Sassy Space Marine has met her match in the MedLab bound warrior!

Mark of Eon is the latest Eon Warriors story and is focused on Jamie Park, Terran Space Corps Marine, and Aydin Kann-Ath, Medical Commander on the Desteron and Eon warrior. The Eon and Terrans are engaged in joint exercises learning how to communicate and expand their knowledge and combat techniques against the Kanthos. Jamie has been assigned to the Desteron to help train Eon warrior in Terran in space fighting techniques. Her interactions with Aydin have left her confused and disquieted. When a helian signature is detected aboard a strange object in an asteroid field, Aydin and Jamie are sent to recover the helian despite the fact the radiation on the vessel is dangerously high. There is a trap set on the vessel, the helian is ill and weak and Aydin and Jamie are caught aboard the deathtrap. There are captive helian held by the Kantos to be freed and rescued, it will take a special team to become the heroes to save them.

What a story!
The Humans and Eon warriors fight to keep the dreaded Kantos from destroying their worlds. Helian symbionts (so invaluable to the Eon Warriors) have been stolen for experimentation. Jamie and Aydin are the team sent to get them back.
I admire Jamie’s abilities as a hard-working, highly trained warrior. Aydin as well - he may be a medical officer, first, but proves also to be a skilled warrior. It’s a good thing, because the nasty creatures created as weapons by the Kantos just don’t stop attacking. Guaranteed edge of your seat reading from start to finish. The courage, respect and admiration between Jamie and Aydin grows into something far more intriguing. It flares into an incandescent romance. Read and enjoy!

Jamie Park was a woman of her own and a skilled Terran warrior. After sad past she had to toughen and protect herself. When Medical Commander Aydin Kann-Ath wanted more and tried to breach her barriers she tried and tried to keep her control but, without success. Restoring his family’s honor and being the best Eon doctor in the fleet was Aydin’s goal but the stubborn Terran warrior had him enthralled, drove to the edge and lustful. The Kantos were after the helions and they had to face a bigger threat with their lives at risk. Liked Jamie’s strong character forged by her sad upbringing. Lot of action, adventure and suspense with scary scenes, fierce battles with the enemy, heated passionate scenes and an intriguing character.

Aydin and Jamie for the win!!!

Another wild, wonderful space ride that will surely put a smile on your face and give a tug to your heartstrings. The action is stellar and plentiful while advancing the overall plot beautifully. The imagery is, as usual, amazing, and the tech totally drool-worthy.

The characters are well developed and highly interesting, especially the two main protagonists. They charmed me from the moment of their introduction! I especially liked Jamie's brand of sassy stoic badassery and Aydin's steady fierceness. These two are some of my favourite characters!!

I toooooooooooootally recommend this series, this author, and most definitely this book!!!!!

As always, Anna Hackett does not disappoint. The perfect blend of action with romance, this one had me swooning while cringing in fear for the characters' lives as I waited for them to achieve their HEA. Yes, I know the HEA is happening. But come on- the excitement and intensity of the ride is crazy fun.

Aydin and Jamie are one of my favorite couples. Strong but loving, smart and strategic. I loved their banter. I loved their attraction. I loved their intensity. And the background story is exciting and interesting. I can't wait to hear more but also, there was the introduction of cute animals (love Shaggy and Cutie) and a potential new type of alien warrior friend (so awesome).

Can't wait for the next installment!
